DIY tassel using macrame yarn, leather and embroidery floss

I used straightened macrame yarn, embroidery floss and leather scraps to make this unique monochromatic tassel that could be used not only on a keychain but as all kinds of other accessories.
I like the monochromatic look but you could certainly make it more colorful if you’d like. I happened to have these supplies on hand because they were leftovers from other projects.

macrame yarn, I used about 24 strands at about 17 inches long (this is what I used amzn.to/37BChPL or any other yarn, that's just what I had and I love the color)

You could skip the leather and just use the embroidery yarn. That would look pretty too.
