Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This RUclips channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

Break 75 is great, but this break 65 with you two was amazing. Well done!
Scrambles are so good for your confidence and make you forget your bad shots so quickly. I love following up a solo round against friends with a quick 9 scrambling with them.
I love scrambles, unless I feel like I'm solidly the best player on the team. My work does a golf tournament every year, using a scramble format. When I'm on a team with someone about my same skill level or better, it's really liberating. Last year, I was the only one on my team that had played more than twice the whole summer, and two of the players had to borrow clubs from someone else so they could even play. It felt like I was basically playing solo, with three other people shadowing me. One of the most stressful rounds of golf I've ever played (but also one of my most focused rounds, since I felt like they were relying on me to at least keep them competitive). Definitely a double-edged sword...
@@AllTradesGeorge yeah, I don't like playing with people I don't know much at all. When it's with coworkers, friends, or family that don't play too much I enjoy it as long as they are enjoying the game.
Scrambles are great fun; especially when you have partners that have complimentary strengths.

Gonna stick my neck out and say that although it was a fun video, I prefer them playing independently. Lots of scramble content out there. You(Rick) struggling but then making a brilliant shot, it's electric. It makes me want to go out and play. I'd stick to your bread and butter.
Scrambles might be fun to play but they don’t have the elements we all have to put up with when playing a round. Getting one go at something is what makes golf hard. Score is irrelevant in a scramble, it’s not an achievement. Personally, I much prefer Break 75 and would like to see you playing in the sun because I see enough of crap conditions when I play, I watch these for an escape 😂

The lower stress levels really showed. You looked to be enjoying the golf a lot more than in some of the recent Break 75 episodes. More of these may help revive the old Rick, and would be fun to watch 👌

I just think he’s a nice and calm, happy dude, which I prefer seeing play golf over more negative-minded people. I don’t know anything about him and Finch so I can’t speak to that
I love this format for your efforts to reach the target of breaking 65. After watching many Break 75 episodes, oddly in this episode I felt more engaged and encouraged you would achieve breaking 65. Great content, keep up the good work!
What a fun format - scrambles always seem to let you be more relaxed and have fun. It’s also great to see the interplay between the two of you. Keep them coming!!
scrambles are underrated, should be played more often. would be fun to see scrambles in tour pro golf too. not too sure how it would work though regarding teams

PLEASE have more of "The Rick 'n' Guy Show" in whatever format you want. I would even pay a tuppence (I have no idea what a tuppence is, but I would pay it gladly) to see you fellows do what you do best. I haven't quite figured out what that is yet, but I'm sure it will be cool and relevant. Thanks for another great video.

This format is the way forward, guys. That’s a great format and game. Rick and guest? This was much more enjoyable than watching Rick fall to pieces on break 75’s…
So much fun to watch. Scrambles tend to stay much more positive, and it's been rough seeing you disappointed with mistakes on break 75. A few more of these lighter-hearted challenges sprinkled in would be a major plus in my books!

I love the break 65 and 75 videos. I enjoy experiencing the different golf courses through your videos. If you dont already do it , can you set the stage with the weather and humidity and time etc to further help the viewer feel they are there. Awesome!

I really like it when Guy plays, his golf is sometimes hit and miss like all of us but his short game can be a joy to watch. The other thing is his and Rick's chat is so engaging and makes me feel like I am there with him and Rick.

@RickShielsPGAGolf So much fun to watch - I love the friendly banter and support you both provide. But from 35:25 to 42:00 on holes 10-11, it felt like genuine awkward tension. You had me worried! .. But a little bit of Birdie Sauce always makes things better! ⛳🐦🍾
What a great watch. A great way to mix things up and also show the rest of us that there are different ways to get around a golf course that can make it more enjoyable.
Really really enjoy this format of video, break 75 is great but having Guy playing as well takes the 'stress' out of the video - impossible not to have good vibes with you two!

Beautiful JCB. Scramble is such a good tool for course management and shot making improvements. Different players seeing different shots. You both played really well. Lots of fun to watch.
Well done Rick and Guy. You can see that with the right focus and breaks that you could be both hitting into the 60's. You both have the capacity, now you just have to be willing to take the risks, relax, and take each shot seriously. Very nice demonstration of what is possible.

Best episode in a while. Reminds me of playing a round with my buddy and great shooting both of you. It always amazes me when playing as a team how it lifts everyone up and you seem to play just a little better then solo

Scrambles are a fantastic training aid. My partner and I shot a 9-hole 32 last night. He’s nearly scratch but I’m 16 hcp. Takes a lot of the on-course anxiety away and lets you understand what it needs to score low when you never would see it playing alone.
