Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This RUclips channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

The Bro-Mance between Rick and Bob does sports is pretty awesome. Its like when you haven't seen a friend in so long and just happy to be hanging out again.
Despite the sounds of disappointment, they shot a great round! Discarding tap ins, they ended up taking 7 of Rick's shots and 21 of F.P's.
I do believe this is the first time ive seen FP golf without a cart. Crazy days in the youtube golf community!
I recall when he first got on board with Callaway they had them carry those massive cart bags for a walking round. it was hilarious.

Fat Parez, I love his golf game. He's very consistent, and his putting blows me away. Rick, you pulled off shots that help you guys to that fantastic 3 under. Sadly, a great trip for Bob Sports guys has come to an end. What a perfect host you've been. You made their stay a memory the lads will cherish for the rest of their lives.
Rick. I just played 9 holes with my son and had my first hole in one on a par 3 172 yards. I start watching your video and you FP start on a 171 par 3. I was hoping one you would get a hole in one . Keep up the great videos! Rick you have went overboard entertaining and hosting other you tubers. Thank you for being a genuine and great person!
Absolutely stunning course. FP is a flat-stick wizard, and I love watching Rick drive the ball when his swing is dialed.

great course to play very tough in the wind but the greens are brutal, after a few rounds you want to play a course with nice flat greens 😆

FP’s putter was HOT!!! But somewhere on this day his approach shots sprung a leak and the shots were spraying right. He is known for throwing darts but not today. Rick was killing it off the tees. Made for a great video and I would think three under on a course neither had played before is darn respectable. Thanks for the content Rick……and of course FP.

Favorite collaboration in RUclips golf history, what a treat
This series really takes me back to my time studying abroad at the University of St Andrews. It was spring so it stayed light very late into the night. I was finishing up a round on the Eden course by myself and in the beautiful twilight haze I heard bagpipes off in the distance... it was surreal. It's bringing a tear to my eye just typing it.
I miss you St Andrews, everyday... but we''ll see each other again someday.
I was supposed to get back for a rematch with Strathyrum a year ago. hoping against hope to do it next year.

Wow..what a course ! I think only the Cabot Cliffs in Cape Breton Nova Scotia is as nice 👍🏻 But ….I feel bad that you guys put that much extra pressure on yourselves on a dream course like that. I can only pray I get to see it someday! Awesome video as always !

Took trip to Scotland mid July! Played the Castle, Jubilee, New Course, Eden, and Strathtyrum! All were a blast. Didn't hit the lottery to play the Old Course but walked the bridge...EPIC! Also, gotta hit short of the greens and roll up! Attacking the greens is a huge mistake! Otherwise, best trip/vaca ever! Must do for all golfers! Enjoy!

Great round, very beautiful course and the greens were amazing. Two weeks ago my son and I played a scramble against two of his 30 something buddies, the golf gods shined on us so we finished-7 on 9 holes, most putts were 6 ft or less so that helped, we did have 2 fifteen footers, my son boxed the first one and I boxed the second one. Been doing scrambles for over 20 years and usually end up -2 or -3 but finally the golf gods let us squeeze in a -7 on 9 holes. Great feeling, keeps you coming back.

I was in Scotland that week and played the Old Course, Crail among others. As I was flying out of Edinburgh lo and behold FP was standing right beside me going through security and was actually on the same flight as mine back to the States. I spoke to him briefly and he just seems like a fun as all get out dude to play golf with. Would have been great to have a conversation with him but wanted to give him proper space. Great vid and a big fan of both channels! And Scotland is incredible.
