Chad seems to be a guy with way too much time on his hands and perhaps was facing a mid-life crisis type of thing. He seems to have felt rather insignificant until coming up with the ideas of NDE’s, which he had observed as really captivating folks through books like “Visions of Glory” and decided to embellish his own past experiences to jump on the NDE train. And then he found he caught the interest of a few disturbed, gullible women and he loved the attention. He let his imagine take over and perhaps started to believe the bs pouring out of his mouth because the attention felt too good to give up. And then he met Lori. And that seems to have created a synergy that ultimately led to both of them taking action to be together including killing Charles, Tylee, JJ and Tammy. They also had no issue taking action against anyone questioning their actions or beliefs, including Lori’s niece’s husband Brandon. It’s as though Chad, Lori and their group were all taking hallucinogens during this time period. They all seem to have forgotten any sense of reality.
