From a team that was barely hanging on to fourth place to a back-to-back race winner. Mercedes’ turnaround this season even eclipsed McLaren’s from last year as we finally saw Lewis Hamilton claim his first victory since 2021 and his 104th in total. Hand on heart, Mercedes got a lot of help from the incompetent decisions McLaren made, but nevertheless it was a great drive that deserved a victory and the team will not stop there as new upgrades are coming earlier than expected, before the summer break.

Nice summary, but I am still surprised that when the car was not good at the beginning of the season , Russel mentioned that it was designed based on Lewis input and not his , now that the car is good , I am looking forward what Russel is saying now. Lewis mentioned in 2022 and 2023 that the development direction had to change and finally they did … great to see the whole team getting back together and get it right 🎉❤
