I tell you the truth. Preaching, teaching, and living for God completely is ministry work that can't even be explained. I understand that the church should focus more on the people than the attractiveness of a church, but God is Holy!!! I dont believe that our houses that we live in should outdo the House of the Lord. We definitely need to utilize the funds towards the community, but the church should be a prized possession of Gods earthly home. We want God to be pleased with us, and we can't do things haphazardly. Some Pastor's go over board adding things that may not have to do with God but things they want. I desire a nice building that I can have for our youth, single mothers, and homeless to come in and eat and receive clean clothing. I want to be a safe place for children to play and worship freely.... Heavenly father, I pray for all the spirit led Pastor's that need a building to receive a building in Jesus' name. You know their hearts and spirits, and I pray that you deliver our building to us and let it be what you desire us to have, not what we think it should be... in Jesus name

Most of the megachurches don't even preach the correct Gospel... they add works to faith instead of preaching faith alone.. or they preach Calvinism in one or more of its forms.
Preaching the word of God is very important, and there’s no reason to assume that this church doesn’t follow that just because they’re remodeling. What they did also affects lighting and audio. The carpeted floors reduces the reverb time of the room. The blacked out ceiling and gray walls reflects a lot less light, so it’s easier to control the lighting in the room. This can help a lot for broadcast having better audio & video for live streams. Does the church NEED a remodel? No. But among other things, we are called to do things with excellence. It’s easy to be cynical about churches and assume they’re all the same. Or that it’s all about looks and money. I’d encourage you to look at things from a different perspective. Serving at a church is a good way to learn why things are done the way they are. Some churches may be doing it for the wrong reasons, or just don’t know any better. But most have very biblical intentional reasoning behind what they do.
