      the "before" picture in here has the same pews/carpet my current church has unfortunately most of them have what i call "hoarders mind" Because the sanctuary is outdated And alot of our members say "we need to keep it like it is it was a gift to us"

    THAT SPACE is for
    your Grand Ma 3 when you eventually hang 3 or 4 more trusses, and hang High End Systems Solaframe and Solapix fixtures... and your MDG Atme hazer! LOL (of course you need a mahogany house kit w/ Heartbeat cymbals!) Seriously, can't wait to see those custom stained glass gobos for the hymns!!!

    I enjoyed watching the transformation and all the great new gear that the church put together. Best of all was your last comments about worship not being tied to what technology you have. I would love for our church to be able to afford to remove our pews from the 40’s and the red carpet. Small churches (75 people capacity) and low attendance numbers don’t allow for any updates because of the budget. Keep up the great work on your videos!

    Looks Great! Just curious how it sounds. I feel like the current speaker placement with T-Shape would make it a challenge to balance the room. Specifically the front and back. im not a full blown sound engineer, but i do do sound for live events and have worked in all kinds of odd shaped buildings Id bet a few sound panels and some bass traps in that the corners across the stage would go along way in improving the sound. (bring in the professionals to confirm) My only other observation is the light color of the stage floor. i guess im just used to either black or dark colored floors which are nice for hiding wires and in my opinion better for lighting. I will say with all the ambient lighting from the windows it actually might make sense for a lighter color floor. Other wise love the improvements and presentation style.

    You have a great facility. The upgrades are fantastic. Just one question; had you thought about putting the center PTZ camera on a pipe between those two opposite facing monitors that would drop it just below the monitors? You'd have a straight-on shot, and a little lower angle that might appear more natural than the shot from so high up? I personally don't like looking down on the stage-action, but prefer a more straight-on, natural view.

    Why does the electronic drum set is being removed, after the rennovation?

    Why do you have a stage in a church? Why didn't you remove the stained glass windows?

    Hey, I know this video is 2 years old. But I just now ran across it. You may not know, but where did your church get the pulpit? I like it's simplicity, but I also like that it's more substantial than a podium which is what I use currently. Thanks

      Unfortunately that pulpit was at the church before I started working there. So I'm not 100% sure where it came from. I think that it was custom made.

    i'm the bass player at my church. I told the sound guy that people don't need to hear the bass, they have to feel it haha

    • @LeadingWorshipWell
      @LeadingWorshipWell  3 года назад

      Haha! That's exactly what I told my bass player. I said "Just remember: If you play a wrong note, people aren't just going to hear it. They're going to FEEL it in the depths of their soul!" 😂😂😂

    Would you be willing to say how much this cost in general?

    • @LeadingWorshipWell
      @LeadingWorshipWell  3 года назад +3

      I'm not sure of the total renovation costs (with new chairs, painting, etc...) but the sound/lighting/video upgrade was somewhere around $100k.
      To explain a bit: Before I started at this church, they were looking to buy a new building. So they had a capital campaign to raise money. Long story short - they ultimately decided to stay where we currently are and upgrade our current facilities instead.

      Thank you! enjoyed the tour. We are small as well, have a small sound booth, pro-presenter and mac mini, no lighting capabilities right now. Outdated projectors. What has been updated at your church all looks great, very comfortable and contemporary. May the Lord bless all that you do! Pam

    Did you include a concession stand in the remodeling? It looks like you forgot to include cupholders for the new chairs. Oops.

      some churches dont have funds for that and also not all contemporary churches are mega churches
