Why does the church want to worship in the dark? Aren't we suppose to see and hear the people of God in worship? Looks like a rock concert, performance, bar setting.
See and hear the people of God in worship? Is that the purpose of worship? Don't mind the others when u worship. It is just u and God. There is no one else when we worship him. The most important in worship is your heart. Whether the room is dark or bright.
@@princesicat8938 The Bible says we have been saved corporately, into a house, a temple, into a family, a people, a new humanity, and we are called in Colossians to sing song and make melodies to one another. Sure, our focus is heavenward but heavenward together as One New Man. Church is not for the individualsitic Christian. All the letters of the New Testament are written to the church, to the people of God and so we worship collectively, not in dark isolation from one another. To sit in my little corner and have just me and Jesus is not the way the Bible speaks. To see and hear my brothers and sisters sing of Christ is one of the greatest expressions of unity. We should not cloak our oneness by turning our churches into dark caves that obscure ourselves from one another. Let the world live in isolated obscurity but not the church.
