The "with no theory" is me anytime i play even if it's E standard (i spent 4 years with taking lessons but never felt the connection with theory so i play til it sounds cool haha)
Exactly! I spent some time learning theory but it doesn’t really helps more than noodling around with no theory haha
@@VladThn i always felt sorry for my teacher, i was a really bad student becouse of this haha
Theory is like a language, you just use it to understand what you did
@@Limbaugh_ yes, I guess I just don't practice enough, but I can express myself this way too and that's the only thing that matters in music to me, nice profile pic btw 👀
Based playing it til it sounds cool guitarist
Mans said “basic,” then popped of with a radical riff at the end.
insane riff but ive never seen someone name a tuning from top to bottom
Thank! Yep, me neither
@@VladThn Because it's a mistake)
You have the correct tune, but in the video the strings are in reverse order. Please correct if possible)
@@yukiyukiharu it’s not possible to fix in video but I added it to the description right away!
Next video will be correct haha
@@yukiyukiharu it’s not possible to fix in video but I added it to the description right away!

@@VladThn cool!
thanks for tutorial c:
You should totally make this a series with different tunings
Will do, thank you!
I am so confused with what you did at the start of the video... Which string is D? Low or high?
Apologies! D is low, E is high!
That’s what I’m talkin about. No bs straight to the point super helpful. You rule dude 🤘
Appreciate it man!🙌
as a resident of the spectrum, i'm often incredibly irritated by the way people convey information in these videos. the tab, sheet, structure, length were all autistic heaven, ty
I’ve always stayed in drop d/c but I decided to try this tuning just now and it’s really neat, thanks for the inspiration 😊
Thank you for watching!🙌
The open notes in the beginning are listed backwards in the intro. Yeah? Haha 😂
Bro cool it you’re making the rest of us look bad 😂😂😂
Yooo you look like Jamie from title fight!! Sick tutorial by the way 🤘🏽
Thanks a lot!🙏
So it's an open A sus4 chord? Seems kinda sus
dude what on EARTH was that riff from I need to know?!
Just a riff for a video, will be a full song one day!
Wait is the first string D or E cause I may have been tuning my guitar backwards for a long time lmfaooo
First is E hahah
@@VladThn thank you!
Thanks for this, it really helps me out with the tuning!! hope you make one for DADGAD tuning too!!
I’m happy to hear that!
Yep, thats a good idea!
Would you be willing to make a tutorial for the example at the end?
I'm struggling with the hybrid picking parts
Sure! Hopefully I’ll do one soon!
@@VladThn That'll be much appreciated! :D
Goes here's some starter things.....then proceeds to completely blow my hair back!! 💕
Very Save Us From The Archon vibes here on the riff jam, love the tone as well, keep it up my love
Thank you!!
There's no fucking way I've been tuning this backwards the whole time...
Hahaha my bad!
i don’t think anyone else tunes it this way when they talk about daeace
amazing!!!
З перших секунд набрехав, негідник!
Але дякую, мені сподобалось
Хехех, там зооовсім трішки теорії))
Basic
I love these different tunings, as a songwriter and not a great chordsmith it really helps me to change things up a lot and do things I wouldnt normally do. Thanks!
Yes, I can relate!!
Thanks for watching!🙌
my jaw fuckin dropped at the example at the end, that was sick as fuck
Thank you!!

everytime i try to tune a guitar to this a string snaps, do you use specific strings for this? or is it just a standard E pack?
ive just tuned my small acoustic to this and the strings feel like they gonna burst and it doesnt even sound right.
Love this video but im so confused haha.....
I couldn’t tune acoustic to this one for some reasons! But electric guitars work well, I use 10-52 here on video
For acoustic try tuning it just one step lower than that!
@@VladThnsweet cheers for the reply mate x I just tuned it abit lower bjt intonation isnt great. Think I just need a decent electric or something.
@@craigmitchell8892 I usually prefer facgce for acoustic, it sounds the very similar , it has very similar structure for playing but it’s much more safe to tune acoustic!
I nearly disintegrated looking at the beginning. My D string doesn't sound correct in this tuning at all and I thought I was screwing up THAT badly
dude love this, but in the beginning when you play the notes in reverse and list different notes than what you actually play it makes it difficult to tune up
I think just reversing your visual order would fix it
Yeah I just reversed it visually, didn’t think about that when making a video Sorry!
no worries! great video!
Awesome video! Exactly how to work the tuning and no frills
is it needed to learn theory? i have absolutely no knowledge i just picked up and started trying to learn
Just stumbled upon this channel. Amazing production and skill. You'll blow up just keep putting in the work! Fight past the obstacles!
Thank you, I appreciate it!!
Tiny moving parts, the sequel
You literally have the exact same guitar and strap as me. Thats so fucking weird and awesome at the same time
0:39 for this riff, How did you mix the one guitar? I’m always curious because when I record it sounds terrible. Just one dimensional. Did you record it twice and pan one left and one right? Or did you record once and slap a stereo widener effect?
I always record two takes for L/R channel, otherwise it sounds very weak and I dont use such soft because I don’t really spend time to find out how to make it sound better haha
@@VladThn thanks for the suggestion!
@@theDanDeleon you could also use some reverb to make just one take sound bigger.
Three reverbs, one in the middle, one panned hard right and one hard left. Just experiment with it until you get what you're looking for.
My fav tuning of all time
Nice playing. Love this tuning gets the creative juice flowing!
the riff is dope
That was as smooth as butter, damn 💖🔥
Thank you!!
Oh, hey.
I have that exact guitar
how the hell do i get this tuning it sounds so good
Buddy said, "Here's a riff for you" and proceeded to melt my face off. Incredible/inspiring stuff!
I appreciate it!!
oh my lord
holy fuck
HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT
Whatchu doin to get that dope tone dude
Backing track?
big swagger fellar.........
Чего чего, а обучалки по мидвесту я не ожидал
bro have i been tuning this backwards???
Nope it’s me who was showing it backwards as a mistake haha
WHAT STRING GAUGE DO YOU USE FOR THAT TUNING??????
Ernie ball 10-46 and 10-52
awesome dude !
Bro this is so sick, how do I get good at math rock stuff?
Thanks! I was starting just by learning songs in that style so I think its a good way to begin with!
@@VladThn what gauge string do you use for this tuning, I’m scared to break anymore strings haha
@@willx6704 yeah that’s a scary thing for the beginning haha!
I use ernie ball 2215, I’ve got use to that and it’s not scary anymore haha
@@willx6704 i use a set of 10s-52. But i change the 10 for an 11. Helps with tapping tone
а какие струны поставить чтоб не отлетали и отчего зависит, а то пару раз отлетели уже при выставлении строя?)
Старые отлетают часто, но я ставлю 10-46, 10-52 и всё нормально)
This is such a helpful video
what amp or plugin do you use? amazing!!!
Thank you! I have a video about my tone!
Brother you're incredible!
Thank you so much!!
Okay. That jam at the end SLAPS!
Thanks!!
quality stuff. you've got a new sub
Appreciate it!
that last part was unreal
Appreciate it!
There are alot of good theory videos but this is just what I needed to try and get my idea out of my head and into my guitar thank u!
For the second part isn't that all the same chord(different variations) since the root note is the same in everyone?
Yep, just showing different variations!
Sounds like a cure song ngl
