    I quit a little over a month ago and have found my main obstacle is in managing or dealing with my emotions. I smoked a couple of days ago after 36 days not because I wanted a cigarette, but because I really didn't know what else to do with all the frustration and anger I was feeling! I do not want to smoke anymore at all, like every part of me is done with smoking. So now, starts the adventure in truly exploring my emotions and thoughts and learning to love and take care of myself. These videos are helpful, logical, and truly make sense. Thank you for your help!

    When I feel like running out to smoke because I'm so irritated, I take a walk. Doesn't matter what hour of the day. If I had time to walk out and smoke I have time to walk and breathe air.

    I've been both cigarette and nicotine free for two weeks.
    I have actually had dreams lighting them up and can smell when others light up before I see the person.
    I winged myself of of nicotine over a period of 2 months by writing down every time I light up. Then started trying to lower the number of times I smoke gradually. While yes it's still tempting.. at least for me; knowing how much time I spent quiting and being successful makes me not want to go through that again.
    As far as dealing with anger.. I've always had anger problems. Quitting seems to made me feel more strict. My routine of "coffee and a cigarette" in the morning is probably the hardest to get past.

      @@bloccboyben1377 I understand trust me. I don't know if I'm allowed to mention this here.. but I'm currently quitting pot. For me it's way harder than cigarettes.
      Yes, cigarettes due to nicotine gave me a few nasty headaches before letting go. But do to using Marijuana for copping with depression; quitting meant a whole lot of repressed emotions and memories coming back to surface. Had to decide; repress them or deal with each one as they came up.
      It's tough but you can do it.
      I have a suggestion if your interested.. Dr.K (HealthyGamerGG) is really good at helping people work out internal issues and has been a big help for me. I'll try to leave a link here if I can 😉

    Hmmmm actually not exactly. Anger issues are caused because you use cigs to deal with that anger and you calm down.
    Basically if you quit , you must find another way to calm you down. Exercise , writing, singing, music , anything constructive. Some things you just cant change , the situation isnt as easy as eating loudly. You have to deal with it, if you cant change the situation.
    Eating loudly wasnt exactly a good example.

    • @CBQMethod
      @CBQMethod  6 месяцев назад

      The "Eating loudly" was an example of how we use smoking to suppress our emotions. Not an example of things that make us angry.
