How to Print White Ink on Black Paper 😍 Did you know the Uninet iColor White Toner printers can print white on black paper with the same toner cartridges you use for heat transfers! Great video thanks! One question, how thick can I print on the printer. I just tried a black cardstock paper but wanted to know if you tried thicker paper. I'm trying to make hang labels for tshirts. What weight paper have you used? Thanks
the Icolor560 website said the max paper weight is 47lb, but can not find any black cardstock at that paper weight. is 90lb what you used to make this video? , your video is great by the way.
I don't even think I paid attention to the paper weight to be honest. I used a 12x12 sheet of American Crafts Precision Cardstock (found here: amzn.to/3Xq6rAQ) and cut it down to size. It looks like this is 80lb
Thank you so much for that. I want to learn how to make the image white for black but on a t shirt. I do the knockmeoffblack and change the substrate to black the preview shows nothing a plain black.
Just make sure the elements of the design you to print white are white in the design before you import into ProRip. The KnockMeBlackOut is to knockout the black areas of the design so you can use the black areas of the shirt instead of printing black on black. i would also suggest checking out this video on the knockout black feature. ruclips.net/video/0ddn_2dpslo/видео.html
Hello, I've been seeing a number of your videos, and they have helped a lot! So, thank you for your work here. I want to do this same thing, but I want to print just white on a black t-shirt. Can this be done? Might you be able to help point in the right direction? Much appreciated.
You could use a white toner printer to create all white transfers, but it would be a lot less expensive up front to just get a cutter and cut white HTV.
Hey there, you could do this for other card stock too, but if you're doing white, you'll want to think about darker/brighter colors so the white will show up well.
Hi, I was watching your video ( great video) 2:22 and noticed you said import as a transparent png, but in the comments you said you export as a pdf and the open the pdf in pro - rip just want clarification because I just got the icolor and a little confused and want to print on blk card stock!! Thx you so much for your help❤
What is the max thickness (paper/cardstock) these iColor printers can handle? Also what size paper and thickness is that black paper? Where can I purchase? Thanks
i tried this and my prints came out blotchy and 'distressed'. Im using both an A5 and a 8.5x11 black cardstock with just white text and yellow text. Have you ever had any issue with this not printing crisp and full?
Not at all! I still use both! Sublimation's strength is on hard goods..and of course it can be used on polyester light colored garments. With that being said you can use this printer as a sublimation printer as well as the white toner printer by swapping the toners for sublimation toners. Here is a further breakdown of sublimation vs white toner www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/2021/03/which-printer-should-i-get-next.html
If you are asking if there other options for how to use this printer, yes. You can make full color vinyl stickers/decals, print white/full color on paper (of all colors) for printables and print and cut, create transfers for hard goods, print toner on paper for foiling. I would encourage you to check out the other blog posts and videos we have on the Uninet iColor 560. www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/p/uninet-icolor-560-printer-and-pro-rip.html

Hi, does apply for any color cardstock or just black?

@@SilhouetteSchool understood, thanks for the quick reply!

Hey there! So think of it as IN as a transparent PNG and OUT as a PDF. I hope that helps!

This is the cardstock I'm using. I just cut it down to 8.5 x 11. www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/2020/12/best-cardstock-for-silhouette-cameo-and.html
What’s the thickest card stock the i550 feeds?
Also, does it make a difference if I use a USB cord vs wifi?
I would use the USB
So what would I do different if I was printing a white design on a dark green tshirt??
Yes you can do that with a white toner printer
Can this be done on vellum as well?
I believe so! I haven't tried it yet but will add it to my list

No, I haven't
How do you get text over to prorip? I have the same printer and can't figure out that part can you help me
I am using Silhouette Studio so I just export as a PDF and then open the PDF in ProRip
@@SilhouetteSchool thanks
Hi, I'm a little confused. Would having this printer make also having a sublimation printer unnecessary?

4k for that printer!? omg
I don’t need to print on textiles so I don’t see spending all the money on the printer. Are there other options?
