OMG!! I just got my 560 and am getting started with white toner printing. I'm so glad to FINALLY see someone printing with the 560 instead of the 550 or 600. I bought the sublimation set, too! I went with white toner instead of eco-solvent or other inkjet printers because the wet systems require almost daily maintenance and waste so much ink if you aren't using them every day. I'm super excited to find your channel and hope we can navigate that learning curve together!

Lately I’ve been contemplating the purchase of a Uninet iColor Printer. I do sublimation. Currently I use an Epson Ecotank printer. The iColor printer is a much more expensive purchase, as such I want to make an informed decision. My purpose for purchasing the printer would be strictly for its sublimation capabilities. I admire the no maintenance (no clogging) aspect of the iColor printer. Is it truly a maintenance free printer? Do all of your sublimation prints come out of the printer clear? Have you ever had blemishes or lines within the prints that come out of the printer? What are the cons of this printer as it relates to sublimation and malfunctioning? Thank you.

Bought a i560 mostly because of your videos to add White Toner to my Sublimation Business. I am doing the on line training from the seller. I will primarily be printing with Hard Goods on Raw Aluminum Accountability Tags. I have been doing Sublimation since 2007. I will continue to learn from your videos. I do Epoxy Dome over my FRP Tags. Epoxy Dome might be an adventure you might be interested in doing too.

I would not purchase the iColor 560 if your main goal is sublimation - it's way too expensive for that (and so are the toners) and limiting in size. If you want a sublimation printer I would go with the Epson F570 www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/p/epson-f570-sublimation-printer.html

I purchased my 560 last month, just an FYI - if anyone is having issues marrying A & B, more than likely it is a heat press issue. Some of the cheaper heat presses don't have consistent heat. That seems to be the biggest issue people have.

    • @SilhouetteSchool

You do need to have the correct pressure but this can be done with any heat press as long as you know how to use the pressure knob to find the correct pressure. This video explains more ruclips.net/video/ldhz2kfUE38/видео.html

It prints regular paper, cardstock, and the transfers plus there are toner kits for the 560 that let you do sublimation prints (on plain copy paper not $$ sublimation paper), uv reactive fluorescent, security yellow, AND GOLD OR SILVER metallic!! It's all toners, so only seconds to switch out toner cartridges, and no messy daily maintenance pouring ink down the drain or spilling waste trays.
