hypothetically, as long as you print on white media i assume this can be done with any color laser printer with no need for a white toner printer. Would my assumption be correct?
In general that is not correct, but for this application for vinyl decals that would be correct. I would not recommend buying a White Toner printer if vinyl stickers is your sole reason for buying it - there are a lots of other printers and cutters that are meant for that. However, the ability to do print vinyl stickers on the White Toner printer is an added benefit and one reason this printer is so versatile.
Does pulling the lid out over the cutting assembly help it find the registration marks better? I work in a very bright space and I have problems with registration recognition often.
Hello. Your videos are very educational for me. I have a uninet i560 and using windows. When exporting file to uninet I can’t seem to get registration marks to appear on printer image . I’ve tried a few things but no luck. Wondering if you could help or give me any tips. Thanks you Melissa!!
Hi there...JimPop here..great video as always. I have a Uninet Icolor 550 machine. What media do I need to use for making color car window stickers/ decals?? I had no idea that my machine could possibly do this...thanks for any help..
HI there. This tutorial explains everything on how to make vinyl stickers with Uninet IColor 560: www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/2021/11/how-to-print-vinyl-stickers-for-water.html
Do you have to use Uninet paper in the printer? The ink is waterproof enough to be outdoors? What about laminating the vinyl for UV protection? Thanks just curious.
I have used plenty of third party materials in the printer without any issues..however I haven't tried other brand printable vinyl yet. Yes, you can laminate for fade resistance.
that's exactly my question im looking for an alternative printable vinyl I can use in my uninet ... did you find any ? I want to make tumbler wraps so I don't have to keep layering lol
@@deerox67 This was so long ago I forget why I asked the question. I was mainly curious. Not sure if it was bout decals or stickers. I didn't find anything.
I don't have any experience with Cricut Design Space, however unless it's possible to export the design to a PDF/PNG/JPEG, I don't think it will be possible.
It's the vinyl...you can find step by step info and the link to the exact product here www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/2021/11/how-to-print-vinyl-stickers-for-water.html
I am trying to print a simple circle with black names inside (napkin tag for wedding). When I go to print...on my Silhouette 2 program, there is nothing there. The print preview is blank. Can you please help. I am trying to learn to print and cut...not going well! Thanks (I also have the new 24" silhouette if that helps>)
The link to the exact product I used here is listed in the description of the video. I can't post the link here or the comment will get automatically deleted.
Are you saying you do no have the PDF dropdown when you go to File > Print on Silhouette Studio? If that is the case - what version of the software are you using?

Hello, have you ever made or done a video on Sublimation window decals/clings?

Thanks for watching!

Are you exporting from the original program as a PDF?

do you have to use the sublimation toner for the stickers or just the regular toner, would one be more waterproof over the other
You would use the regular toners for stickers.
How do white toner decals hold up on cars? Sun exposure?
I would recommend laminating them with a UV protecting film / vinyl for best results

How durable can a decal for a tumbler be?
How do these stickers keep up on a car in sunlight ? Could laminate them help to extend the durability ?
I haven't done a sunlight test. Check out this blog post: www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/2021/11/how-to-print-vinyl-stickers-for-water.html
CAN I PRINT ON MY ICOLOR 540?
Would this work for those clear vinyl stadium or cosmetic bags? Need something that won’t peel off and the htv I’m afraid would melt the vinyl
I"m sure it would
Can the older model cameo machines work with the white toner printer too?
Hey there! Yes, same process, just different Silhouette machine.
Are the finished stickers also scratch-resistant?
No, if you want fade and scratch resistant a better option is the Roland Bn-20A which is an ecosolvent printer. shrsl.com/3x25w
What program u use for the printer?
Hi there, you will need ProRip. Check it out here: www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/p/uninet-icolor-560-printer-and-pro-rip.html
Could this printer work for tumbler wraps ?
I would not suggest using it this way
What model is your hp ink jet printer?
8610
Hi! Do you know if the same thing can be done using the CRIO White Toner Printer?
Hi there! I am sorry but I don't have a knowledge base around the CRIO printer.
Do you know how to print designs on the Uninet icolor 560 from Cricut design space?
I don't have any experience with Cricut Design Space, however unless it's possible to export the design to a PDF/PNG/JPEG, I don't think it will be possible.
Can't I just print on regular white oracle vinyl?
You would need an Ecosolvent printer for that like a Roland BN-20
Any ideas on why my 540 won't print the white vinyl I did all steps and it sends to my printer but doesn't actually print anything
Is it printing out blank pages?
What kind of paper is this? I can’t find it
