Just used my 2003 zx6r for first time since I had one of these fitted . Totally transformed my riding around donnington. As a novice rider it really helped me break the fear barrier and hit that rev limiter. So much more comfortable on the wrist and certainly i felt i was way faster on the straights than normal. Even got black flagged for noise so must have been revving far more than usual as this has never happened before ( I'll post videos so you can give me feedback as before. ) great article 👍👍
phil hallam Phill, that’s an absolutely brilliant comment mate. I couldn’t agree with you more, especially on a 600 this throttle really gets the bike going like you have never felt before. And when I used it properly for the first time it just used to make the bike go crazy and really gets rid of the fear as the throttle action is halved compared to standard throttle. Please do post the video , I would love to see and let me know when you do. And I definitely agree, that once you get used to the crazy acceleration and start to manage it, it definitely brings the laptimes down . Thanks for watching mate and leaving a lovely comment

Have you had any experience with this type of scenario?
Abel Tavares Perez mate. That’s a fantastic question. I’ll be honest I have been using the white ring (rapid track ring) for the road in 2018 . And to be honest it takes a ride or two to really get used to the feel but you get it sorted , it’s all in the head and the wrist mate. I wouldn’t change the cams (rings) for different styles of ride. If you always do roads and not tracks. Try the medium ring first , then move on to white one. Only because I have seen some canyon crashing videos and And I get worried with the undue camber I notice on American canyon roads . Sometimes you can have lovely camber which helps you and then negative camber bites you back . So start with the medium ring , then experiment with the white . If you think white is too much then move back to medium one. But don’t change them regularly mate depending on your ride . That won’t be good
Yes Christina , they do , it’s not a huge amount but it certainly makes a big difference, Especially the aggressive white cam The turn is halved nearly And bike really goes nuts on full acceleration It takes a little getting used to but it’s amazing You can start with red and then move to white if you do Trackdays Or green for roads only Thank you for watching and appreciating it

I'm mostly a street rider but working my way into track riding once per month on a Ducati Panigale V2. I actually just picked up a Domino RBW Plug & Play Electonic Quick Throttle but couldnt find much on how it will change the "feel" of my thorttle vs my OEM one. Just from twisting it I can tell the rotation is much less than stock but was worried that I''ll loop the bike or something because there is less room for error going from closed to full throttle. Will I get used to it quickly? I hate how much rotation I have to give it as of right now so was hoping this would be a nice fix. My bike does have riding modes (Sport, Race) where it changes how the thorttle responds (smooth vs dynamic = more responsive).
Hi mate, thanks for the detailed comment . I totally understand what you mean , but don’t worry , it won’t go crazy on you . You will get used to the feel and aggressiveness very quickly . Just do a few more rides before the trackday and then take it from there. Honestly , everyone is in the same boat at the start but you’ll be ok definitely

I have a ZX10R that has been flashed. I find rolling on the throttle mid turn can be challenging at times given the abrupt nature of the throttle response. I wonder if this throttle would help or exacerbate that problem?
It will certainly help mate, flashed or not flashed the roll of the throttle doesn’t change This reduced the rolling action So it will definitely help For sure no doubt at all
really good video just hoping to pick your brain, I tend to do a few track days a year but also use my bike on the road (2020 mt10) this is a mod I have been thinking of as you need double jointed wrists to fully open the throttle on most bikes and no point having plenty of horse power unless you can use it. Do you think it would make the bike too snatchy for general road use, I appreciate that it is my own choice to do and you can`t advise but just after an opinion if you don`t mind. Keep up the great videos.
Hey Phil, apologies for the late reply , some comments slip through the net. MT10 is a superb bike with so much beautiful midrange torque, it always delivers that torque quite smoothly so this throttle wouldn't make it snatchy. If I were you I would try with the most aggressive Cam first and If you like it then stay with it. Modulate the throttle movements in the beginning gently and make it more suited to your riding stye. You must give time to get used to it. Its amazing how much throttle feel you get from these thin but full of feel domino grips. Let me know how you got on with them , in this same comment thread. Happy to always help , feel free to ask. Thanks for watching my stuff Phil
So you not recommend this for normal streets driving? I thinking to change my grips on Yamaha R6 2015 and i can not choose something.... hmmm, can you maybe help me figure out...?? Thx
Xavi Bič domino grips are amazing , definitely go for them. If you have an R6 then it’s excellent, it really works well for 600cc bikes also you don’t need to use the white cam which is the aggressive one , use the red cam for streets and you will see a massive difference.

Mustachio's Motovlogs mate, absolutely spot on.... these are more commonly used on 600, 750 and 800cc bikes cause you always have to keep them at decent revs to really carry the momentum into corners .... thank you for watching mate
Hey mate there are 2 listed domino xm2 and domino kkr, whats the difference.. i got thr kkr but it only has red ring for street triple, am i missing out on xm2

@@ChasingTenths Thanks for your reply, i ordered the other domino, only came with red ring, i need xtreme throttle response... i am going to send it back
Kal Heer absolutely agree, it’s not for everyone. It’s a niche product. And one you use it you never go back to standard throttle. It’s quite easy to change those cams to suit your riding style but this is definitely for your avid track rider and racer who is really looking ways to shave time and improve little by little in many ways , sector by sector , tiny tenths gained here and there accumulated to a second .... it’s a marmite product but from personal experience, it’s a great mindset changer
No not really mate, you get used to the feel pretty quick , Offcourse irresponsible throttle movements can lead to that but modular and progressive throttle movements based on feel shouldn’t lead to a high side

That won’t be good
I agree
Really liked this one. You almost convinced me
Ranbir Dehal hahahahaha, love the word almost . Thanks for watching mate
Please help.. What is the best ring to use on a daily riding to work?
Red one Johann, it’s pretty good
White is aggressive , I would only use that if you are always throttle crazy happy ;) but red is ever green
@@ChasingTenths how about the green one?
@@johannironfire9286 it’s a good balance between red and white
Try it
You won’t be disappointed or feel that it’s over the top
@@ChasingTenths Thank you so much for the info, good sir..❤️ I really appreciated it! ☺️☺️ God bless.

Great content mate!
Thank you mate
Really appreciate you watching it
great review! so do the coloured rings each alter the amount of turn you get on the throttle ?
Yes Christina , they do , it’s not a huge amount but it certainly makes a big difference,
Especially the aggressive white cam
The turn is halved nearly And bike really goes nuts on full acceleration
It takes a little getting used to but it’s amazing
You can start with red and then move to white if you do Trackdays
Or green for roads only
Thank you for watching and appreciating it
@@ChasingTenths thanks for the reply ! yes its for road only but id still like less travel on my throttle. does the green still give less then a standard throttle assembly ?
thanks again !
@@christinaurwin3829 no problem Christina , yes the green one still has less travel for sure because the way it pulls the cable is different than the standard throttle
@@ChasingTenthsIt says red is for racing and white is for rain mode, why you say white is aggressive, I dont understand can you explain, I want balls to the walls accelaration so which cam?
@@ghostrider4544 there are now different quick throttle options , also ride by wire and non ride by wire options too , mine is from 2016 , there is a road specific now , there’s a universal one and there is track and race and off-road ones . On some of the cams they have changed or altered the diameter pull on the cable , ranging from 2.4* per mm to 2.9* per mm, you need to check the specific one for your bike plus you need to make sure it’s not like to like factory replacement OEM unit.
Domino makes the difference! Autodromo Portimao, Algarve right? :)
Yes mate , absolutely
Jerez and Portimao
Two weekends I had huge benefits from the quick action throttle
It worked really well
Gave a lot of confidence to me
Hi, I have a cbr600rr 2008 and I'm thinking about buying an xm2, so I'm wondering if I need to buy domino cables or will the original ones fit and do the job??
@@ivanbuden you must have the domino cables , to be honest it the bike is 2008 then it’s good to have new cables anyways
It’s a smoother operation and very slick
But the whole domino quick action throttle kit
Can you put any throttle grip on the quick action throttle or do you have to use the ones it comes with?
I am sure you can put any throttle grip on it
I have seen people put different ones
@@ChasingTenths thanks

I have a ZX10R that has been flashed. I find rolling on the throttle mid turn can be challenging at times given the abrupt nature of the throttle response. I wonder if this throttle would help or exacerbate that problem?
It will certainly help mate, flashed or not flashed the roll of the throttle doesn’t change
This reduced the rolling action
So it will definitely help For sure no doubt at all
Also, re mapping the ETV table can help.
NICE VIDEO
I LEARN SO MUCH
TouKa YaGaMi thank you very much
really good video just hoping to pick your brain, I tend to do a few track days a year but also use my bike on the road (2020 mt10) this is a mod I have been thinking of as you need double jointed wrists to fully open the throttle on most bikes and no point having plenty of horse power unless you can use it.
Chasing Tenths super thank you very much! I going to order them right now then 😎💪🏻
did people also learned to regrip the throttle ? and remove de slack from the throttle?
good explanation sir, very detailed
love the simon crafar edit 😎😎
another thing i learend was always om the straights shift full gass to six. dont stay in 5th makes the revs
and gain speed and be faster
Fantastic points there mate
Re-grip and de-slack is all on personal preference and feel I guess
But definitely agree with you
@@ChasingTenths its the oldest trick i learned 👀😎 the quick throttle action can be learned 😎
you have a solled explanation hard to fined these days 😎
@@cbr1928 thank you very much
What is the quickest throtle?red or white?
I am pretty sure it’s white
This was a really good explanation, I've heard people tend to use the throttle from R6s as a cheaper alternative
Mustachio's Motovlogs mate, absolutely spot on.... these are more commonly used on 600, 750 and 800cc bikes cause you always have to keep them at decent revs to really carry the momentum into corners .... thank you for watching mate
Great video and good explanation 👌🏼
Bikramjit Singh thank you so so much mate. I appreciate you watched it and left a comment. It means a lot
Hey mate there are 2 listed domino xm2 and domino kkr, whats the difference.. i got thr kkr but it only has red ring for street triple, am i missing out on xm2
Hi mate, you definitely need the universal Domino XM2 , it comes with 3 different cams , throttle cables need to be adjusted to size to fit the bike .
Return the KKR and buy the XM2 domino
@@ChasingTenths Thanks for your reply, i ordered the other domino, only came with red ring, i need xtreme throttle response... i am going to send it back
Hi Abhi is there option for bikes which is ride by wire?

Good video.. tricky one to convince ppl.. im not 100% sold - but im fair weather rider
Does my street bike need it … no am I guna do it … already have.
@@hippyhack4450 it doesn’t need it but if you want it then no harm having it , doesn’t make you faster but makes the bike very responsive
Great review 👍
Ursula Rathee thank you very much
Is it not easier to highside with a quick action throttle?
No not really mate, you get used to the feel pretty quick , Offcourse irresponsible throttle movements can lead to that but modular and progressive throttle movements based on feel shouldn’t lead to a high side
I'm fuming I only bought these 3days ago..now I find a video on them offering a 10% discount 🙆🏻♂️😤
Shea Meade aaahhhh sorry mate, I feel your pain 🥺..
I've just spoke to my mechanic and he didn't install mine cause it'll take hrs and obviously cost.......are they easy enough to DIY ? 🙏

@@ChasingTenthsyes it saved me many times really especially when it comes to pass lorry or slow cars on my R6. Just doesn't cut it for cruising
@@tedjoslavianus1817 wow really , that’s good
Very nice stuff man! A small suggestion: you can condense all the info in your videos with some judicious edits and have them be tight and informative. Kinda like life at lean or Mike on bikes. But not the production values per se, just how tight their story telling is. I like the vlog style approach. It's simple and clean.
Thank you mate
Great point
I am slowly slowly trying to reduce the content size but to explain this QA throttle, it needed some examples which were different than Normal, appreciate the feedback very much
@@ChasingTenths it's great stuff but there was some repetition, I felt. Do you write a skeketon script down or you go with the flow?
@@greyanaroth I understand mate, I have no scripting ever, I just go with the flow
@@ChasingTenths try this out next time: just take 5 minutes before you shoot to hammer down the stuff you want to discuss. Figure a structure or "story" in bullet points, and see if you can write this down somewhere you can look at easily while shooting.
You seem to be one step ahead of me... I was talking to Ali on Sunday about the next mod to be a quick action throttle...
Desi Track Addicts hahahahaha, hope you found it interesting, it was a tough video to make mate cause it’s a really tough upgrade to explain but with the help of some professional’s examples and my own I managed to put it together 😀
