Some racing rearsets are needed 😆 there's not many people AT ALL that are able to do that pace around the ring on a bike. Seriously impressive riding 👏
Gota love those pro shifters. All the rev matching, blips etc is all computer controlled now for perfect shifts. And I'm completely fine with that because I grew up riding analog so I know both sides.
@@bobjohnson2920 The electronics on bikes is awesome now but that ain't the case with the one in this video, that's a 2008-2011 fireblade with no electronics and only an aftermarket quickshifter at most.
Great riding, that was a fast lap! The absence of safety runway is quite terrifying. If you run too strong in, or you lose the rear accelerating out of a fast corner, you are in for some serious metal-wall-splattering kind of pain.
No music, talking, or any wind noise. The only thing that would make it better would be a different engine like a V Twin or a cross plane 4 cyl. Fantastic video!
A perfect mix of balls & skill with a subtle twist of lunatic! That was an impressive ride, I bet you were grinning from ear to ear after that! My fave part is where to jammed it up the inside of the white GTI who wouldn’t get out of the way
@@wholelottamiata6976 It's one of those things for me that you can rationalize but you have to feel it a bunch before you can actually do it when it happens lol Just scares the hell out of me, I've been wanting to ride for years now, and I'm coming close to pulling the trigger on a new ZX-6R (wanted to buy used but they're almost the same price as new in my area rn!). And this is one of those things that makes me second guess riding. Bc Ik I'll end up speeding even tho I plan to play it safe bc who tf doesn't speed on a SS bike and I also don't wanna practice taking speed wobbles bc that usually requires speed. Idk tho, the little micro wobbles on turns might be a good thing to get used to first before pushing it with the speedo, bc those seem to be more of a "just ride and you'll adjust the issue without thinking" kinda thing.
So without the yellow flags that was for sure a sub 8 minute lap, great riding there pal!! My target for this year is also to break 8 minutes btg. Can I ask how many laps or times you've ridden the ring?
@@fastyorkshire5710 How did you learn the track that well in so few laps? Have you got an idetic memory, or do you practice with video games or something?
@@mcnbns one thing I did realise is video games only teach you left or right, it doesn’t teach you gradients, hills, bumps, or what speed to hit the corner at.
Nice ride...I wouldn't trust those cars to pass on the inside..but that's me..lol...what happens in the late 5 min mark...did you hit the curb g that was abrupt...and the 👎👎
This guy HAULS ASS god damn, anyone know why all those other cars and bikes were just parked in the track like that? My man blew past them like a force of nature lmao.
Very very nice riding. I've done the ring 400 times in Gran Turismo on the PS4 and I don't think I could reach that level of accuracy sitting on my sofa, so I have no idea how you do it for real after just a handful of laps. It's a very complex course.
Well, the prep work is there, now go and take your 125 test and then your 600 test back to back, if you're over 25,then go out and buy yourself a very expensive bike, like the Honda CBR1000RR (some £5k+ for older models, £15-20k for more recent models) and go through all the motions of getting confident around corners and riding in the wet and then do multiple laps of that track to understand the contours of it and you'll get close to this 😄

No quickshifter, no abs, no traction control.
@@bobjohnson2920 That thing didn't even come with a gear counter and you think it has a quickshifter?
Funny I was counting gears. I’ve had a few 600RR’s and a couple 1000RR’s. My 2019 has a gear indicator now. What a rider!

It's not really a motorcycle focused track

If only honda would put a v4 in it..
V Twin or a cross plane 4 cyl are overrated kinds of shit

Sharing a track with cars is insanity IMO, especially touristenfahrten.
That's why no one will remember your name 😂

Holy poop, yeah.....that was a fast lap. Unless you ride a bike, can't appreciate how hard it is to go this fast.
Rest in peace to all the bugs that died during this lap😆🤙
Go on lad !!!!! fast lap that, bike sounds mint throwing that bike around at 104 +mph round cars ,bikes everything
I don’t know how many times my ass puckered up watching this. Props my guy!

Crazy lap! Those speed wobbles every 5 seconds are TERRIFYING to me but the rider doesn't mind a bit lmao Props on some crazy talent
With speed wobbles you just need to relax and let it happen, if you fight it they usually get worse

Try the A57 Snake pass- Sheffield to Glossop. Wonderful road but deadly if you overdo it. I keep it within limits but this guy would blitz it.

Looked awesome, but what is up with the 4:3 format in 2019?
It's probably better for the aerodynamics on a bike

Was that oil on the track after karussel or why did you slip?
Seems front end got light, combined with angle of lean gave it's head a little shake.

9½ mins. Maybe
