    That wasn't a parallel universe. The quasar you flew to is a real, documented quasar. The white dot really is just the universe. That means, there's actually something weird with the selected galaxy after the flip. It would be cool to see you travel to that galaxy after the flip

    Interestingly, no black holes have orange colored accretion disks, that’s a misconception. The disks on black holes are actually so hot that the color is light blue. The reason why that one image of a black hole is colored orange is because it was a thermal image.
    Edit: OK so some nerds explained that apparently the disk is *mostly* blue, but it is slightly red near the edge. Happy?

    Speaking of alternate universes in Space engine, I had this theory where if you put the time super fast another universe would collide with the main universe.
    edit: uhh I don’t believe in this hypothesis anymore FYI
    Edit: some people are confused, I meant it as like galaxy merging, they don’t collide, but go through eachother.

      When people say "we are nothing compared to this universe we are just ants flying on a rock through space", I always think of the fact that if you condensed the age of the universe down to 24 hours and compared the timeline of humans, we've been here for an astronomically small fraction of a second, and within an even smaller fraction of that fraction of a second, we've already significantly changed an entire planet, completely damaging its ecosystem, cutting down entire forests, and literally causing our own version of a mass extinction solely because of our actions within 200 years, which is so astronomically small compared to the age of the universe, that it's literally nothing. We've already sent objects into space and made changes to other places, such as landing on the moon or landing robots and rovers on mars, and the voyager 1 still flying rhough interstellar space, that we've already permanently solidified our existance and there's evidence of our existance that will basically never be erased. Yeah we're pretty small, but relative to the age of the universe and the effect we've already had within barely a century? Yeah idk, maybe I'd take that back

    *⚠️Warning long comment, Don't click "read more" unless ready to read ⚠️*
    My thoughts and idea of what this could be and how this could be exploited by mod developers if you test it:
    First off... Given that Quasar name is in normal space engine. Then its possible that perhaps its LITTERALLY parralel with a flip, Aka like a mirror.
    Where the previous coords you have selected is flipped and thus is inverse like a mirror changing polarity and stuff but isn't physically changed relative to the in-game POV (given your POV also flips along with, hence why there was no visual detectable difference with the area you discovered). 🤔
    How to test this idea aka what you could do if your willing to try:
    You'd have to use the technique from the camera video, to unbind the camera from your in-game movement POV. This is to hopefully bypass your POV flipping along with past that point if this theoretical scenario is true (removing the "no detectable differences" issue in the process).
    Soooo... Do this where it flips at around the 611,378.28 GLY zone, then stop, and then instead of moving around to change POV, you instead unbind your camera from your motion and manually move back to the original position you selected.
    Unfortunately I'm unaware if there camera when unbound from your motion can move instantly to the location like you normally could.
    So this will take quite a while to fully test and see. But i do believe the insights possibly gained for mod developers is worth the gamble.
    What mod developers would be capable of doing if this hypothesis of mine is true:
    This'll help verify if its a literal parralel mirror universe (and would indicate a every other verse is same verse situation kinda like a Mobius strip loop where relative to a cross-section, your in you flip to other side of the Mobius strip even though there still connected to the same game engine verse/side if you go all the way around the strip).
    This'll ALSO help anyone who wants to make a mod for parralel universes via shortening the flip distance know what aspect of the code they need to modify to make it viable as a mirror reality Multiverse mod with different reflected orientations. There would be different orientations given a mirror symmetry of a mirror symmetry, is a rotar aka rotation relative to a axis.
    So all the mod developer would need to do, Is make a seperate program to track this and allow it to interact with the game.
    If this is achieved this would make a legit Multiverse mod viable.
    Allowing them to create a entirely new universe via simply adjusting lighting and stuff in correlation to this sorta "In-Code Rotation effect" they can implement, and thus dodge aside making entirely new stars and only needing to adjust camera base paremeters correlated to this reflection.
    If this is achieved, if and only if this hypothesis is true. Then a Multiverse mod even with different visuals is do-able via adjusting the in-game POV visuals (only modifying the player POV for warping effects, and not the actual game objects object-by-object).
    Hence why i believe trying this test is worth the gamble or time loss.

    • @shadow15kryans23
      @shadow15kryans23 Год назад

      Note of this:
      Be sure to already select a polarized object before doing this or you won't be able to tell the inverse polarization.
      So for example Jupiter with its red spot or a similar object closer the edge.

    • @shadow15kryans23
      @shadow15kryans23 Год назад

      Another possible advancement of this theoretical "Multiverse mod" for mod developers if the video creator tests this and it's true:
      Litterally do the Mobius strip with a plane intersection method just in 3d space.
      A object with good properties like this in 3d space is a torus. Where 2 of the direction is any 2 combo directions your moving in which is x and y relative to your camera POV, and the 3rd one is just a assigned lvl set pattern using a plane-wave wave-length based-on-distance from value approach. Where you assign a cosine value to the 3rd direction (depth) relative to somewhere close to the center of space engine universe (preferably as close as possible) and assign a wavelength value as greater the further your from this object, and and less upon getting closer with it. And once you go past this flip border you simply apply a cosine to sine transformation via derivative, and make a random number generator randomly select these camera POV modifications to simplify how much it taxes PC further.
      This'll also theoretically allow for you to tweak objects in a AOE radius (a set wavelength distance in front of you, and set x & y torus distance away aswell making a effective render distance sphere) and assign new properties to anything that goes past this altering sphere like higher mass and etc... With as little lag as possible, If given we continue to avoid altering fundemenal coding as little as possible (If someone figures out how to do this, Then this method isn't as effectient as possible).
      If it sounds overwhelming then just use others code as inspiration, and refer to in-game coordinate measurement methods as a guide.
