I doubt that these are actually real planets. They’re so far from us that we wouldn’t have the time to take photos or probably take data by any means before earth perishes. That’s how long it’ll take to visit these planets.
But it’s still interesting to think about that they possibly could be out there, it’s just really hard to imagine that that’s how they look.

I love how while he was on the moon of the planet, the star was perfectly right above the planet and you could see all the other planets aligned with the star.

One trick you can do in spaceengine is to bring the LOD settings to max on the config, and to press hyphen “-“ in order to change between loading modes. So you can have an immediate loading mode in a specific nice looking spot and it will load a lot of detail instantly. Although I suggest to switch it out once you’re done or else exploring with that mode enabled can bring the fps down by a lot.
Great to see the younger generation that appreciates the cosmos. I can see someone like him working for NASA one day.

Hello Space Chip. Would be interesting to visit the Kepler-70 system in SpaceEngine (if it is in the game). It has the hottest exoplanet known, about the same temperature as an F0 main sequence star!

pro tip - when using the star browser you can click the number in the "filter" column to select the actual planet you've filtered instead of selecting the star and doing the F2 thing

Always wondered how life would evolve on a tidally locked planet. A lot of it would depend on how far into the day side or night side you could go before it became too hot or too cold, but another thing to consider is how life on Earth has evolved in sync with the day and night cycle. It would be interesting to know how life on a tidally locked planet would handle sleep.
