Because PvP has fallen kind of short here: A good place to try it out, even as a total "noob", is Fort Aspenwood. Very casual PvP mode in factions and lots of PvE players play it. The game mode died back before GW2 launched but for a few years now games regularly take place on saturdays and sundays, starting at about 8 pm GMT. Also, there are Alliance Battles each friday starting between 8-9 pm GMT.

I've been wanting this game for 6 months (half a year) and finally my dad is going to buy the complete edition for me!!! In these 6 months I lost interest of the game and tried to find another buy to play MMORPGs, but all I found that interested me was Project Gorgon. I looked into the game and I liked it. Then I got bored of that game. Now Im interest in Guild Wars 1 again. And after I watched this video, I realized how much content was in this game. My dad is going to buy it in this week! I would like to see you do a video on the top ten (twenty) things you wish they would put in the game. I always felt the gwamm title was not rewarded properly. They should have let you choose a colour for a boss shimmer that you could display in towns / outposts. (Anyone that didn't want to see this could just switch off boss shimmers in the options section).

I've been bouncing off and on gw1 so much so ... slowly knocking out a title exclusive on my main. It burns me out. I'm so sick and tired of playing an assassin. I want to play something else but I feel like since the vanquisher and survival isn't completed on my assassin... I don't want to wait since I've already built that bridge to let me do it. Just need to cross that long long long bridge. IE 15 NF HM books for survivor and vanquishing Tyria which is more pain in the ass cuz I hate proph.
Off Topic: But with Zoldark the Bounty the other day, it got me thinking. One thing I would very like to see is a Dwarf Buster team. Preferably something with say 5 Core Characters to accommodate a little variation on the part of the Human Players. My group generally plays 3Humans and 5 Heros almost always Mine. While I/We have beaten all the Dwarf missions to include Duncan; I've never felt we are nearly efficient as we should be about the task. Just a Suggestion but I hope you will consider it. BB

Are they ? Only if you play Mesmer, I think you can do very well without the superior vigor rune (I mean, there's only one such rune in my hero team+me, I started with all having +30 and I slowly upgrade when a +41 and when the +50 drops)
i got a staff drop that was worth 20k plat but it was near the beginning of gw2 so i couldnt sell it. it was called the wrath or something like that. it was a mesmo staff.
I dropped a perfect set of plagueborne daggers REQ 8!!! non-inscriptible with +15% under combat stance! Haven't been able to sold these since req8 is so rare haha!
i cant remember what its called but there are 3rd party addons you can use in gw1 and thats one of them. check the gw1 wiki or reddit or just google addons for gw1

I think most fun is different for all of us. If you want to play the game the oldschool way: 1.Prophecies, 2.Factions, 3.Nightfall, 4.Eye of the north. But if you want you can try Nightfall first, this way you'll get heroes very quickly, making the game much easier. Plus the 15 attribute quests too in Proph is like end of the road (desert area), in Nigthfall or in Factions you'll get those much sooner in the storyline.

First response is it's not MMO specific, it's gaming specific. Whether it be Warframe, Path of Exile, Diablo 3, Project Zomboid, Rimworld and so on, people eventually lose the pull they once had and are looking for something to revitalize it. In the case of Path of Exile, it could be just going solo self found, not trading for anything. For Project Zomboid, it could be playing with RPing in game quirks. Rimworld can just be mods, tons of mods. Second response, people have invested time and energy into a game and don't want it to feel wasted. Additionally, they do like the game. They appreciate the mechanics, gameplay loop and aesthetics that few other games are able to grab for them. That's why players will look for additional content to do in their favorite game over looking for new games. At the end of the day though, if you're bored, try playing something else. Maybe playing another game will help revitalize the joy and appreciation you have for your favorite game again.

Recently finished Terraria on Master Mode, and Dying Light on Nightmare difficulty. Each playthrough stacked up to around 50ish hours of playtime. They were sad to finish, because neither has post game content with the base game, though Terraria has mods, and Dying Light has DLC. I didn't go for either because there're so many other games out there to try. They're all wastes of time, and I get the sunken cost fallacy since I stuck with Dota 2 for around 2k hours, and Ffxiv for roughly the same, a little less perhaps, but other than monetary cost, it still doesn't answer why people wouldn't go to play something else, logically. My friend right now is playing Genchin Impact, grinding some currency for some character, and he said once he gets that character he's going to take a break. Like for him, having the character is the satisfaction, not using the character to play the game. Not just Mmo's then, but a lot of time sink games create this satisfaction of pixel ownership and have chasing the dragon content that people fall right into. Makes me wonder if these tasks people go for in them are fun, or if they just feel an illogical sense of accomplishment or pride in doing what is otherwise redundant and boring. Like if you told someone to kill 10,000 wolves or some other low level enemy, people would ignore it, unless there was a 'Wolfbane' title or cosmetic attached as a reward. It'd be easy, assuming wolves are a low level enemy like in most games, yet people still find satisfaction in doing even the most menial of tasks so long as there's some sort of reward. It doesn't sound healthy, and while everyone's free to live their own life, and I could be at the gym rather than talking to a stranger about this in comments, but some games feel like they either warp our perception of value, or take advantage of what certain players are willing to commit to, purposely or not.
