Also if you select the principled BSDF node and press CTRL+SHIFT+T, you can just select the different PBR maps (normal, roughness etc) and blender will automatically set up the material for you.
I want to rig a set of blinds in geo nodes, so that the bottom slat moves the others up as it comes into contact with them. Do you have any videos with a similar principle? I haven't got into these nodes yet, so a bit lost. Done lots of resolve fusion and blender shader nodes, but these are something else.
Hello, I really liked the part in the compositor, where you explored many tricks to make something look a certain way! I use some of them. I use double glare node, one with streaks and one with fog. Most of the other things you mentioned were a big mystery to me. Chromatic ABBERATION? Ambient occlusion is something somewhat familiar to me, I think I once messed around with it. Also cool use of particles. I guess the hyper realism part is interesting in general. Lately, I have been trying to get more cartoony or NPR results. If you have any knowledge to share on that front, that would be very great :D:D
Could you do a particle tutorial with the simulation aspect of geo nodes? I'm trying to make a particle sim of a black hole that loops, and the normal particle sim breaks on the loop
It's made for masking. You'll only get realistic results if you treat it like the metallic slider and use it at 0 or 1. Though you're free to use any value for artistic reasons.
can u do for us a tutorial to create a grapes with geo node pls !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and thnx
anyone else get a mild aneurysm when he put normal map into strength?
YES.
So glad someone noticed 😅
thank you CGMatter, You're a smart guy and you know a lot about blender.😀👍👍👍
Actually, what am i thinking? Was i about to do the work myself? No, procedural! was epic
I know I've watched too many CGMatter tutorials when I can predict each thing he does.
Traditional modeling in a long time❤
I thoroughly enjoyed this one
Thank you, I like your tutorials.
I really enjoyed the globe modelling and shading. So useful. I'll watch the sim stuff later if I can be bothered 😅
Great result!
🔥🔥👍Great tutorial!
I think you could parent the turbulence or drag force to the master empty to make the movement of the snow more realistic.
this is great, thx!
Uhh on the santa hat you plugged in the normal map to the strength instead of the color

Awesome ❤
Good job 😘

Ooo, slight off topic but I like the addon you have where you put camera settings at the sidebar. Where can I get it?
tutorial without the geo node from cgmatte!!!!!!!!
Could you do a particle tutorial with the simulation aspect of geo nodes? I'm trying to make a particle sim of a black hole that loops, and the normal particle sim breaks on the loop
i think foreach node is coming soon so maybe that an opportunity to go over these things
What are you up to at the minute CGmatter? Hope you're keeping busy!
got a second job where we working on some movies :) trying to keep both churning
4:11 hyper realistic steve tutorial when?
"so let's fix it in double post"
I was today year's old when i learned you can drag and drop images into the blender shader window.
Now make a snowflake generator, every flake has to be random and unique
why did your coworker say not to adjust strength
And what do you do for a living?
@@TimothyParez what does that have to do with anything, hes just asking a question because yknow, why not adjust the strength?
👑
Why is not changing the Strength value desirable?

think of the distance as how far off the surface the bump should 'apply' - generally this will be really small
oh not the shadman 💀

lol
@@CGMatter come on bro!!
I we'll be waiting
rename the channel to "Blender Frankenstein " , it suits you
..................I didn't know you could drag and drop texturess
no node wrangler mention
Tutorial
What work do you do bro? You said coworker
