so glad you have an Atomstack laser. really want one but have been put off by feedback that they are unreliable and very poor aftersales support.
How have you found the atomstack? I am actually looking at the ikier model

I am thinking of buying a new engraver/cutter as my K40 is far too small, the problem I am having is manufacturers wattage claims, for instance Atomstack claim some of their machines to be 40 watt diode lasers when they are in fact 5 watt output, Atomstack are not the only ones making these claims, all it does is confuse potential purchasers.
I am wanting around 20 watts of (true) output, any ideas?

Yes, I noticed this few years ago, they write the W of power supply, but it can be any size.. Always search for optical power. Nowaday engravers have optical power of 5, 10, 20W (and some 30W are comming soon)

I used my Ikier K1 12W with multiple tests, and every time I got gold color engraving on anodized aluminum, whereas I expected silver. I don't know if something is wrong with my settings or with the material.
