For anyone getting into Lasering. This Wecreat machine is a wonderful machine. Already plenty of videos and FB groups to get ideas and or help with something that may come up.
I really appreciate the info you supplied. I have never touched or seen a laser but played with the idea buying one. I am retired and we’ll need something to do.
Thanks for the video. I bought one the other day and am now trying to learn about what I bought. I chose it over two other machines that seemed impressive - but what sold me on this was the auto-focus and no need for a riser. I wish however that they had interchangeable lasers like the xtool s1. I went with the 20watt because I need to do fine letter engraving mostly. I'm hoping I didn't make a mistake.
@@joshymcdaniel9233 Yes, it's been going well. I'm a "real beginner" - never studied any of this. So, I'm just scratching the surface of what can be done. What I love is that I could be up and laser etching really fast.
I have had my X Tool D1 20W almost two years and I know its a great unit. But the enclosure and camera are big Deals as they were not standard when the D-1 came out. Thanks for a great review.
I really want to get my hands on one of these. I was set to purchase, but ended up having emergency open heart surgery and we got slammed with a hurricane shortly after. Needless to say my shop took major damage.
Also. Thanks for reviewing this. I know you like your X Tool stuff. I've tried to watch most of your reviews on those as well. Maybe after i can show the wife this can make money Ill buy one of the X Tools
So is the rubber flap supposed to stay inside or outside? Another question, I have the 40w, how do I have it collapse while not in use? Mine stays fully extended.
I hit the link, filled my basket, hit 'checkout' with my card in my hand, but cannot order because they don't seem to ship to the UK. I've found link for USA, Canada, and Europe, but the UK is not listed. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Glad you enjoyed it! 1) I used Black acrylic paint for the main design and background. 2) I used silver Rub-n-Buff and dry brushed it on with my finger. (Rub n Buff is like paint but more of a gel creme) 3) I super glued the design on the background. 4) I used clear semi-gloss acrylic spray to seal the design to make it look shiny.
Question about the glass…so, you put the paint on and engraved the design. Then you removed the paint? How did you do that? And it looks like it didn’t affect the design at all, yeah? Also, I’m wondering if this diode laser can engrave on stainless steel. For example if I wanted to engrave an image on a knife blade… Thanks in advance for your input. Great video.
Hey there! So diode laser needs a medium to engrave glass. The black tempura paint allows the wavelength of the laser to etch the glass. On SOME stainless steel diode lasers CAN mark with various colors. The most cost effective option would be to get an IR laser that can make them consistently. You could probably make some knife blades, but an IR laser would be more what you are looking for 👍🏻
Those will be adjusted with your speed and power settings. Lower speed and higher power will engrave deeper. But you will want to find your sweet spot.
Very cool, but I'm already into rock collecting as a hobby and don't need another non-profitable hobby. Engraving tumblers or other stuff to sell would be awesome, though I can't see anyone buying a $50 wallet just because it's laser printed, especially when I wouldn't pay that much money for a wallet of any kind myself

I think you will love it!
I got my Wecreat last month and love it. Just a few little projects and people want them. So easy to use.
Glad you are enjoying it!

How’d that go? Good choice?

Thank you for such step by step content.
I want to buy one but I’m new to this.
I am glad you enjoyed it!
I am glad you found it helpful!
for us beginners, it would have been nice to illustrate the power settings for each of the projects you performed. all in all , great video
Totally agree
would love to see a VS video with the S1 and the wecreat
That is a fantastic Idea!
I’m talking a friend about getting this laser because she owns her own shop and is doing hats and stuff already but moving to tumblers now
I didn’t see the template link. Thanks for the video. We are waiting in the arrival of our Wecreat laser.
I just added them. You are going to love it!

Glad you enjoyed it my friend! Any tips or advice you have for another video would be much appreciate! Once you get a laser you will love it!!!
Which acrylic did you use please? The white one doesn't work.
This is great for people who live on the road or off grid.
Yes it is!
I wish there was a way to do more than one tumbler at a time with out having more than one laser printer
Can this machine do a full wrap engrave on a 40oz stanley?
Yes it can, I have seen people on the WeCreat Group do so!
What would settings be for quartz engraving ?
So is the rubber flap supposed to stay inside or outside?
Another question, I have the 40w, how do I have it collapse while not in use? Mine stays fully extended.
Can you do a full wrap on the tumbler
Yes, I just watched another creators video doing a full wrap on a tumbler
what settings did you use for the glass etching

Thank you so much for this video. can this cut through sublimation mdf board?
Im sure it can :)
Would this work for leather hat patches and metal dog tags
This is fantastic thanks for the video
After the acrylic paint what else did you use on the helmet I didn’t catch it on the video
Thank you

Thank you so much I will definitely be trying this it looks amazing
You are welcome!
Yall have a 2w, 20w and 40w, which is the best for engraving tumblrs
But, the Vision has a roller bed option. That would be amazing for larger projects
Could you cut out a cribbage board with this cutter?

@@CorneliusCreations how did you remove the paint?
Great video! Can this machine engrave rings?
Thank ya! You really need an IR or for that, but on some rings you may be able too, but it won’t be near as efficient or good.
Except white acrylic. Thank you for sharing
You’re welcome 😊
Thanks for the video
No problem!
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it!
So this one or the XTool F1?
Where do you get your leather and acrylic?
I usually get my leather from local craft stores and acrylic from Amazon
Does it do pens?
$60 bucks for a simple wallet like that is a very large stretch. But the machine is nice. I have a glowforge aura and I will buy this one next.
Ridge sells the same for $95. I sale a ton and people love them.
I’m looking for a laser that will cut clear acrylic…does this machine do that?
not to my knowledge
im so tempted into getting one for a side buisness
It’s life changing my friend!
Can it cut and engrave clear acrylic?
You can only cut and engrave clear acrylic with a C02 laser unless you prep the white acrylic correctly.
d we need that fan pack??? (I think its what its called)
The air purifier? Not necessarily, but it does help in enclosed spaces if there is no ventilation.
Loyal Causeway
Do you have the basic or rotary pack? Is rotary pack needed for tumbler, glass jars?
One problem I see with the rotary is that it doesn’t seem likely to be able to handle tapered items.
Does it need to be purchased separately?
Yes, I got the rotary pack and it is needed for any type of cylinder object.
You can purchase it in a bundle for the best price.
Does anyone else have odor issues? I have the fume extractor connected and I can smell burning wood way more than I should

like to have one of these machines really bad but cant not until they improve their customer service, answer the phone an emails, somebody, anybody.

I can only laugh myself silly whenever I hear about inches. Who uses something like that? MM, CM, that actually makes more sense, doesn't it?
