    I just want to say the water isn’t always flat where I run my boats So it is so great that you run your boats so often so us guys that can’t run our boats can still get the fix.
    Even just watching you doing that one extra run before speed checking my heart is in my mouth as if it’s me risking that last run after a perfect run.
    When you hit the wood pile with the shrimp rigger in my mind I was running to try to save the boat before it sank.
    I guess we have all been there.
    So scary and fun all at the same time.
    Great work mate.

      Thank you. It's always a journey every time we hit the water, never know what will happen. You should get a kick out of tomorrow upload. Nothing went right! 2 boats floating down the river and no way to get them. BG4L

    Some great runs!!! Great video! I might just try running inward rotation on my Zonda!

    Fastest we've gone with my brother's animal was 106mph with super zonda props. That was with the seaking 180a version, If you put a strait edge on your boat or lay it on a flat surface the drive dog would touch the flat surface, rotating the props inward. Not all boats are created equal so it may not work for you but its worth a shot.

      Thanks, that's actually about where I like to run mine. 106 is moving! BG4L

    Inward seems like the way to go, might can run a slightly smaller rudder too. I'm sure prop thrust is hitting it. I'd say try 19 or 21 Rake props with 38 bar & see what happens. Tight thrust cone & steering may be less touchy. Just my opinion 🤷 I'm still a green horn

      I haven't seen any counter rotating 19 and 21 degree props? I think there all left hand rotation i could be wrong? If I am shoot me some links!

    I noticed my animal would spin out a lot easier with inward put it back to outward but I am not going for high speeds, thanks for the tip to buy the 90amp flycolor for the shreddy it's perfect now just got out to test it on 4s.

    Great job, so informative, running the GPS inside is the way to go, I think it is a great idea to have a fiberglass insert in the Hatch, I know you could do a good job with that. Looking forward to the fiberglass hatch installation video😁

      It's hard to cut a hole in a perfectly good hatch, lol. Been considering doing it just gotta find the time. BG4L. Thanks for the huge roll of tape, I have enough to last till next year, I picked up one to.

    DYmotorshop can make you a fiberglass lid if you want to start putting your gps in the boat.

    Not sure why you put your gps in the rear but that’s adding weight where you shouldn’t have it

    Some nice runs there.
    Try mounting the gps on the inside of the canopy, in the mock air intake section.
    Leave the drives neutral and just shift your batteries a little more forward.
    Still think you should get rid of all that unnecessary stuff on the tunnel and put everything in the hulls.

    That was interesting. Cutouts outward and not inward... Should think doesn't make a difference, and their not close like in the mono... But hè, if you dont test it stays just a theory...

    Have you tried octura props with more lift vs the high rake abc props? Or like an oxi low rake prop? As you know that makes a huge difference with strut angle required on any boat. Got to keep that nose down and be more careful!

    • @IRONCLADRC
      @IRONCLADRC  4 месяца назад

      Not yet. I've been planning on picking up a couple of sets of octura props for this one.. still feeling the hull out, so I know which props to buy

    I have a German MHZ Mystic, the strut will not go less than 3 degrees down. You cannot set it to neutral 0. It’s designed to not be neutral and it works. The cat likes the down angle.

    • @IRONCLADRC
      @IRONCLADRC  4 месяца назад

      Same with the animal twin, I modified the outdrive post so I can get the neutral position. Handles much better with +- 2° down.

    I would do a cut out in the hatch and replace the carbon with regular glass where the cut out is. It’s just too risky taping the gps to the boatI I don’t even glass over my cutout I just clear tape over the cut out.
