thanks for the tutorial!
Wow! This means so much, thank you! I try my best to help out others. I can't do it as much as I want to, because of time, but I am planning on making more tutorials for sure. Thanks again for the comment!
This is awesome.. Ill prob never make a game but I still love knowing how games are made.
I think with the right story and idea you can make the best game, any genre 😊
This is the best beginner tutorial to date that I've found. I appreciate how you push the boundaries from the beginning to show how creative we can be with the engine. I will subscribe to follow this tutorial. I am hoping to see how we can create background music or playlists, how to import animations for characters as well as the basics. Very clear and well detailed tutorial! You rock.
Wow, thanks for such a wholesome comment. I am glad you enjoyed it. Hope it helps you to start off your games and be creative. Wonderful day to you friend!
@@NivenHedinger Thanks! Same to you.
Those coppercube tutorials are so great! i made some games with Coppercube 6! well i actually started using Coppercube 6 in almost a year ago, but i got better because of your tutorial! and my last game is way better! keep up the good work mate! :)
This is superb to hear! I always try to leave some development space for people like you to explore, try new things, sometimes even fail, because otherwise you can't progress. Super glad that you are making games. I do wish you all the best 🎇
Thanks! and i also use Unity! which i used that almost 3 years ago! i'm saying Unity is better, but Coppercube 6 is also good because it's really easy to understand! i really love making games, that's my passion since i was 12! now i'm 15, and i improved alot over the past years! and i also still like my old games because they bring back memories! :)@@NivenHedinger
I just downloaded it ,this is going to be fun thanks for telling me about it
😊😊😊
Before i find your video i make some crappy games with coppercube, and i want to know how this engine work i search about coppercube 6 tutorial and i found your video, thank for making this tutorial man.
Thank you so much! This means a lot to me. I can't wait to see your games. Good luck 💌
Bro please Continue this series
Because I also want to make a game
Good job bro
Thanks a lot, I really appreciate the kindness. I have couple of more tutorials posted, you can check those out.
Your videos are so helpful but I'm having a little of trouble on my game. What I need is to set up a mini-map. If you could make a video on that that would be great
Thank you very much. I will try to make something like that in the future, thanks.
You Are A Legend
Wow, that's so kind of you. Thank you, thank you a lot. I am just trying to bring community and make them interested in this engine. Thanks a lot for kind words, really 😊
thanks mate for the tuts , can you make some horror game devlog with coppercube
Thank you for the comment. I have made a devlog about horror games, particularly about my games. You can check them out on the channel. Cheers!
@@NivenHedinger thanks mate
Can we import character models from another software such as blender?
Ya
Thanks for the comment. There is an entire list of tutorial I made about this and you can find the import/export tutorial on how to do so. Basically, you can import and export anything, depending on the use of the assets/scenes.
Geat videos but I was hoping for a scripting tutorial if possible. thanks!
Hi. Thanks for the comment. What do you mean by scripting? If you mean the Java, that's not Copper Cube 6, rather outside the engine work. Just like how I don't show tutorial for blender - I do primarily Copper Cube 6, other resources are up to you to learn.
Awesome!! Thank you!
Thank you! I will be making other tutorial videos too. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I can answer them in the next video or make an independent tutorial on int. Depends on the question.
@@NivenHedinger I want to try and make a space ship move around and switch the skybox to a space background. I'm currently developing a 2d game on gdevelop and I'm almost complete, I would love to learn this engine more. My main questions would be movement without animation, How to store and compare variables and how to change the skybox.
@@emoneydatruth1 Interesting. I was actually making tutorial videos right now, explaining some of the mentioned questions and maybe I will upload it today. Thanks for the comment and good luck with the game.
@@NivenHedinger Thank you! I will be watching once it is available.
i really love it ! you are awesome !!!!!!!!
Thanks! You are awesome too 💌
thankyou
thanks for the video, the only little problem is I can't see your mouse cursor
Umh, sorry but have you watched the video? I speak over the program explaining in detail where you have to click, there is literally no reason for the mouse cursor, because everything happens right on the screen. Unless you watch the video on mute, then I do apologize, but otherwise, everything is pretty clear with the clicks. It is the most basic tutorial. If you don't understand the language I would suggest learning English first.
how do i do a starter gui for new players and cutscenes toggle ui navigation?
Depending on what do you mean by "starter gui", controls? For controls you simply need to add 2D overlay screen and type in controls text or use image made with any free software.
@@NivenHedinger ok thanks
@@Lucireal34 For the additional help you should check out singe tutorials. There is a tutorial about clickable buttons and more. That will help in general, because this is just basics tutorial, not advanced.
@@NivenHedinger okay thanks because i am trying to make an open world roleplay game ill check it out
@@Lucireal34 Definitely. Although, I would suggest starting from something simple. Open world games are really difficult to make, especially using Copper Cube 6. Good luck.
we need more
can i sell the game
made with this program ?
Thanks for the question. You have to read the licensing for the professional version, which costs money. The free version has only CC0 license, which means that selling the product would be an issue for the developer of this game engine,
@@NivenHedingerwhat it's mean yes or no
With free version pls reply 😊
@@-RESTINPEACE You can sell the game if you have proper credits for the assets and music you use in the game. I can't directly confirm for you to "go and sell" the game, because I don't know what game are you making and what is the licensing behind it. Same thing I said to the original comment.
If you use CC, CC0 and other "legal" assets with all things included - 100% sell. Otherwise, it is tricky.
@@NivenHedinger how optimise the game and how upload to Android
Pls make a video
Thank you
Sub earned
@@NivenHedinger haha i didn't make a game but
I want to confirm that 🤍
where we have to upload this game
Hello.
This is not a game. This is a tutorial for a game engine. If you want to make a game, you can by using this engine. There is a play list on my channel, which shows the rest of the tutorials. One of the tutorials is publishing, which defines how to publish a game. As for the question - where to upload YOUR games, there are many options out there, like Steam, GameJolt, Itch.
Thanks for the comment.
😮💨
Hello. Do you have a question?
Its not everthing noy work
@@ege328 Well, try again, pick up the pace slowly friend. Nothing happens in one day. I've been using Copper Cube 6 for 3 years and I still have some question of my own. Learning is important.
why were you talking like a robot?
The sound quality must be the problem. Otherwise, I am a very real, healthy human being. Best 2023 mate 🎉
@@NivenHedinger ok have a great day 😃
@@NivenHedinger also I love the videos anyway
