I own this product, and this video is spot on for the points that are covered I add the following:
Charge for TWO HOURS before initial use. Soak foot for 10-40 min and lightly dry before using this.
Use label-side down, where possible.
Downsides: It is an inexpensive product, so the motor lost noticeably (about %15) of power after first use (even when fully charged again). Also, It's water resistant, not water proof.
Upsides: good for beginners, decent overall power, replacement rollers, styling for men.
Conclusion, it is worth the $27 I paid, because it does a better than average job, and it beats manually using a 180 grit file. Although using both may increase positive results.

Also the red light turns green when fully charged not WHATEVER colour as you put it.
