another fantastic video thanks for posting it with nintendo anything is possible can't wait to see what they unvail and thanks for showning us all the possibilites
I also agree that there will be new content in a BOTW switch 2 remaster. It could be new monsters, new runes, new quests, new costumes, a depths map accessed from the yiga clan hideout and birida lookout chasms, new sheikah tech including divine beasts in the depths, new bosses including Astor and Sooga, and many more
You didn't get them for the Wii U? You totally should, Wind Waker especially is super lush - I swear you can feel the sunshine when you wander out of a shaded area. I love them.
We need WW and TP on the Switch. That would at least give us a way to play all mainline games on Switch. Can't believe they thought Skyward Sword was a better idea to remaster than Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.
As someone who had a wii u with WWHD & TPHD, the skyward sword remake was VERY necessary, especially for fixing the garbage wii controls and making it playable. TP & WW remasters are more „recent“ so it made sense to remaster skyward sword first
@@yunkintothat’s actually reasonable considering TP also had motion controls on the Wii and Wii U. Maybe they are “testing” the waters for regular controls and motion controls since Skyward sword also has the same gimmick on switch.
Absolutely I rather have had those then the beginning prequel small cut in sigmented box Skyward sword aka the weaker game to me at least compared to those two of a more Sense of adventure
I think the next full-fledged 3D Zelda game should come out in 2026 to commemorate the series' 40th anniversary, like how I think they should come out with a new brand new 3D Mario game this year to commemorate it's 40th anniversary. But your right 2025 isn't really the year for Zelda and someone else in this comment section made a point that BOTW turns 10 years old in 2027 so there's a chance that we might not even see the BOTW remaster for Switch 2 until then as Nintendo usually re-releases Zelda games for their big anniversaries.
Nah that's way too soon, TotK came out last year, that'd give them a 3 year development window that's way too short for a new 3D Zelda. A HD/4K port/remake maybe, but a completely new game from the ground up? I highly doubt that's happening. I'd rather they use the 40th anniversary for a 4k remake of Ocarina of Time or something. I doubt we're getting a new 3D Zelda before 2028, giving them at least a 5 year window but even that's probably a little short. I'm guessing 2029/2030.
I believe that TotK was the Majora’s Mask of Zelda titles… that they did not spend six years working on it, and instead spent six years working on a Switch2 3D Zelda game which will come out in 2026.
@@dereksnider7148 They definitely spent 6 years working on it. Maybe not the full 6 years because of Covid and the BOTW DLC, but they for sure spent the entire time actually developping a new game on TOTK. I think they actually worked on it for about 4 full years and a half. They released the DLC in June of 2017 and probably took a long break and we know that TOTK started out as a DLC. So they probably started actually making a new game in 2018, then development probably took a hit during COVID in 2020-2021 and that slowed things down by at least 6 months. Also, they've said they spent a year on bug-fixing and polishing to make the abilities work with the open world. So no, I don't think the game is releasing in 2026. It's coming out in or 2028-2029. Honestly given the fact that they spent most of their time actually making the game on the abilities and bug-fixing, I wouldn't be surprised if the next game was a lot more detailed yet takes around the same time to make or maybe even less because they probably won't have time-reversal, no-clip, items that you can stick on to any weapon and that each have different features or just physics object that you can move around and use to make calculators and laser planes.
@ you went from 6 years to four and a half ;) The reason I believe that they had a team working on a next-gen 3D Zelda is that they were originally planning to release a Switch-Pro console in 2021/2022 but the pandemic happened, so they released the OLED model instead in 2021. So I figure they had started work on a next-gen console 3D Zelda in 2017… when BotW was released, and it was a whole new game with a new engine, nothing to do with BotW…. but because of the pandemic, they delayed the next-gen console, as well as the next-gen Zelda.
Do we know how big the Zelda team is? Are they split into several departments to work in parallel and increase the frequency of releases? My guess is: • 2025: A 4K port of Wind Waker (likely completed long ago). • 2026: A 40th-anniversary new 3D Zelda (developed by Team X). • 2027: A port of Twilight Princess (also likely completed long ago). • 2028: An Ocarina of Time remake released ahead of the movie (handled by Team Y). • 2029: A new Grezzo-developed game (produced externally)
Same here. And I hope we get some updates for Windwaker since it has been 10 years since the rerelease on the Wii. I missed expiring the vast ocean experiences.
I mean... is that not just the WiiU? Don't get me wrong, I want TP as much as anyone. But just being released on 1 extra platform isn't exactly groundbreaking.
Do you guys think, that we may get our first look at the next big 3D Zelda game sometime this year? November 2011: Skyward Sword Release ---- +2,5 years ----> First Botw Teaser E3 2014 March 2017: Botw Release ---- +2 years ----> First Totk Teaser E3 2019 May 2023: Totk Release ---- +2 years ----> 2025 First Look at next Zelda game?
Given the massive timegap between each mainline Zelda 3D release title I think we are looking at 2029 or 2030 for the next Zelda that is not a 2D or 2.5D or some form of re-release. Twilight Princess (2006) -Bunch of 3DS games and re-realeases (including Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, Ocarina of Time 3DS) Skyward Sword (2011) 5 year gap -Bunch of 3DS games and re-realeases (including A Link Btween Worlds, Wind Waker HD, Majoras Mask 3DS, Twilight Princess HD) Breath of the Wild (2017) 6 year gap -Hyrule Warriors, Links Awakening Remake, Age of Calamity Tears of the Kingdom (2023) 6 year gap -Echoes of Wisdom So for the past couple of decades the 5 to 6 year gap is pretty consistent.
You need to keep in mind tho that ToTK’s development took much longer than it needed to because of the pandemic and even AFTER that setback they released it a year later than it was “completed” in order to optimize/perfect the collision/interaction mechanics because they needed them for EVERY ITEM IN THE GAME 1) I don’t foresee the next game going nearly that crazy with the level to which you can interact with the world (could be wrong tho) 2) MOST IMPORTANTLY, up until after the release of BoTW, the Zelda team was split into a console team and a handheld team. Since the birth of the switch those teams have now combined and grown which should theoretically reduce development time 3) Nintendo is absolutely swimming in money rn which means they can afford more staff and lower dev times
Technically we already have it from 3DS, but they'd have to rework it and upscale it from that. I would hope that they fix the coloring of Ganon at the end, it should stay dark and gritty.
Nah 3ds doesn't count as a remake of what most are expecting The 3ds was way more of a kinda of galorfied remaster then anything with just updated models nothing else was drastically changed aka similar to shadow of the colossus which in itself is just the same game just updated visuals I can only call it a real remake if not only just the visuals are updated but 1 some of the plot was changed a little with more add on to the story 2 extra items and some extra side dungeons and new areas 3 some of the dungeons were worked and placed different a bit and the map was made way BIGGER with new stuff added in it THATS A REAL REMAKE aka in the RE1 fashion that's what most people are actually expecting and if Nintendo ever did it iam pretty sure this is the path they would go DURRR obviously The 3ds OOT is non of this it doesnt even count close to a remake is
Still hoping for a remake of the Oracle games. Did people forget those two existed? We're going to address the big elephant in the room, a literal elephant. I want Breath of the Wild at 60 FPS since I don't have a 4K TV. I have doubts that the Switch 2 will be 4K. I doubt we're getting a remake of Twilight Princess and Wind Waker since Nintendo did not bother releasing it on the Switch. I don't need it since I already have it on Wii U. I do not want a remake of Triforce Heroes. How would the StreetPass mechanic work on the Switch or it's successor if ALBW is re-released? I consider Twilight Princess the third game in the Hero of Time Trilogy since the Hero of Time is actually in it.
I know 4K is a marketing buzzword but honestly i don't think the average Nintendo fan can tell the difference between 1440p and 4k on a basic modern TV.
@@Ray-dl5mp 60fps should be the bare minimum, but i know that even the ps5 has to run some games at 30 so we'll see. Hopefully the 1st party games will run well.
If Nintendo finds a way to remaster OoT, MM, TP, and WW on the switch 2, and make those exclusive to the switch 2, i truly believe that will justify me and MANY other fans upgrading from the switch 1 to the switch 2. After all i only bought the switch to play breath of the wild, and didn't even buy any other games for the switch for a year after the fact. If i could replay the time saga plus TP on the switch 2 i would SWITCH (haha get it) in a heartbeat
After playing Echoes of Wisdom, I was hoping for a TOTK side story since we only got glimpses of Zelda’s journey in the Era of Hyrule’s Founding through the flashback cutscene. Fans really wanted to see more of that, and her experiences through the Imprisoning War. With her own gameplay that is way different than Link’s, adding in contents from the Master Works like how Hylia entrusted the Zonai with the Sacred Stones, make the Dragon Tears memories playable in a minimum of 20-25 minute length (that would literally doubled down on the really bad story telling type with flashbacks), to make the the Ancient Sages more fleshed out, bringing back Twinrova, giving King Rauru, Sonia, and Mineru more screentime, and Rauru’s own character arc (going from being a naively but humble and idealistic leader to fully realized that the world does not live up to his and Sonia’s “eternal peace” as conflicts will always be created…. no matter era we live in). Those are the things I was hoping for since the story in TOTK has been divided into two parts. Zelda is also a protagonist since the Wild era treated her as one.
Breath of the Wild 4K likely won’t come out until 2027 considering all the other HD remakes of the 3D games came out on their games’ respective 10th anniversaries
I don't think they'll be re-selling Switch Titles on Switch 2, nor do I think they would sell "separate versions" of Switch games and Switch 2 games like with Wind Waker. I think we're more likely to have a "New Nintendo 3DS" situation, where there were a handful of exclusive titles that needed the additional power, but a bunch of games (new or patched) available on the OG 3DS that had extra features exclusive to the New Nintendo 3DS, such as camera control on C-Stick or Amiibo functionality. I don't think anyone really thought of the "New Nintendo 3DS" as a next-generation handheld since we'd gotten so many 3DS models (2DS, 3DS XL, etc.) and new games were available on both for the most part (besides Fire Emblem Warriors, Sushi Strikers, etc.) I think the DLSS 4K upscaling will work on most native Switch titles, but they will have some like BotW and Pokémon Scarlet/Violet that they'll want to showcase with fancier textures or performance improvements.
I'll be blunt, I couldn't care less about BOTW or ToTK in 4k. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed them immensly, but 4k doesn't change enough for me to honestly care. The only thing I would care about is a Twilight princess overhaul because that is long overdue and honestly that is the only way it looks like we are getting a traditional LoZ. Again I enjoyed BoTW and ToTK, but at no point did I ever feel like I was playing LoZ. I felt like I was exploring another generic sandbox world with lots of LoZ easter eggs for long time fans. I'm not going to play EoW because that is even less LoZ than those and WW can burn in a fire.
OOT didn’t feel like a real Zelda game if you were into the 2D games. It was a generic adventure game compared to the 2D games. But no one cared because the game was good. Who care if it isn’t like the past games if it has the look of Zelda then it’s Zelda. That’s that. Also no other open world games keep feels like BOTW or TOTK. Traditional Zelda is dead and I say good riddance. Also if you think about it BOTW is more similar to the first LOZ so wouldn’t that make it the MOST LOZ.
@@THEONETRUEOVERLORD It isn't just about the adventure. The music plays a massive part and OOT absolutely had that from the start. Additionally there are the dungeons, which again OOT had. It also isn't exactly fair to compare that because LoZ was very much in its infancy as a series then and it was very much an established and matured series when BotW came out. There is a monumental difference. BotW and ToTk lack 2 of the 3 major elements that make a LoZ title feel like one and I just mentioned them both. The only point BotW music even felt like LoZ was around the castle and just bluntly at no point did it ever feel like that in ToTK. That isn't to say the music was bad, far from it but it never had that "I'm going on an adventure" vibe. I don't even have to debate the dungeon thing because shrines aren't and the divine beasts definitely aren't. TotK did a marginally better job with this area but they still weren't proper dungeons. Again Both of them were great games, amazing even. I have hundreds of hours in both of them. However at no point did I feel like I was on an adventure in a LoZ game.
@@JordanMac79 why would we want to get Twilight princess and wind waker hd again? why whould we want mario kart 8 deluxe again on switch 2? why would anyone want any remake on a new stronger console when they can dust out the old system to play it on?
I would hope if they remade ocarina of Time they would go more in depth with the story and gameplay rather than just making it look more visually appealing. I don't really play the final fantasy games but a buddy of mine was explaining to me how they go more in depth with the final fantasy 7 remakes, and though I don't want ocarina of Time split into multiple parts, it would be nice if they updated the story and the gameplay mechanics and did more with hyrule field and The lands around Hyrule.
It would be cool if they could figure out a consistent spinoff series for Zelda to go alongside the main games. That way they don't have to rely so heavily on remakes and remasters
That tech demo was showing off back in 2016/2017 what the next new zelda game could look like that was never twilight princess remake or HD That was what was scrapped and they went with the cell shaded look that became breath of the wild look instead.
Honestly, if they could just make 1080p at a rock solid 60fps, I would be happy. Playing TOTK on an emulator at 60fps vastly improved the experience for me.
Bro at this point, it HAS to be Windwaker or Twilight Princess. This is the perfect opportunity to get these games now as a switch 1 release before the new switch comes out… then when switch 2 releases they can port versions of BOTW and TOTK.
I hope to finally play some of the previously released TLOZs that I haven't played (WW, TP) on Switch someday. Admittedly, I've only played ALTTP, OOT, and BOTW. I started TOTK and got bored, I stopped playing. I didn't finish SS either, I may go back to that someday.
We need the left-handed Link in Skyward Sword manga as the playable protag, the only playable character, AND the left-handed hero at 21-25 years old. No facial hair at all (unless it's just his eyebrows). Plus, he should be the only Link we see die very slowly (like the historical anti-hero Cao Cao) at the end. He should be a peasant, a commoner in the workin' class, and a knight with the red cape over his shoulders. Hylia should be the deuteragonist, his only love interest, his only wifey, and his equal. It's gotta be complimentary. With healthy boundaries. Demise as the main antagonist AND the final boss. Plus, Orville SHOULD be a tritagonist AND Link's younger bro (biologically). Fi could be a character AND a voice in the Master Sword at separate times. And the loftwing's name should be Crimson (based on his red feathers). Link AND Hylia should be childhood besties, childhood sweethearts, AND romantic lovebirds to each other (as hubby and wifey) so it's more relatable. Add a bit of an extra layer to their committed relationship.
8 Deluxe vs 8 repurchase sucked but it also kind of made sense. There was no easy way for Nintendo to know exactly who owned and still owned a copy of the Wii U game from the Switch itself. Not even people who bought it on the eShop could move over Breathe of the Wild and it was the same game. It wasn't impossible to do but it would have been awkward telling people that only digital buyers would get the better version. People would feel like they were getting screwed over. With the Switch2, the eShop is the same back end on both consoles. Games are supposed to be backward compatible. They can also just have you put your Breath of the Wild cart in the system. So while maybe they will charge something to 'enhance' the game, they also might just not charge it hoping that it'll help sell the system.
I HIGHLY doubt they would resell an upscaled BoTW as standalone software. Everything Nintendo has said since 2017 has implied they wanted to centralize around Nintendo accounts that would roll forward to new consoles. To sell BoTW again they would have to have 2 different versions on the eshop
I still think we're getting ocarina of time remake either this year or early next year, we've seen that nintendo puts a lot of effort into making sure that a new ground breaking zelda game comes out along side a new console, and since the next mainline zelda game which I think will redefine open world games once again is still far off from completion, so a remake of the most critically acclaimed zelda game and most critically acclaimed game of all time for a fact would immediately spike up the value to purchase a nintendo switch 2 year one
I need a DLC for tears of the kingdom, I don’t like how it has everything it has, I want more, it’s too good of a story and game for it to not have DLC included
TOTK is my favorite game but I don’t want DLC because I want them to focus all their effort on the new game. Also I still haven’t beaten all the side quests in TOTK so having more would be time consuming.
@ that’s the point of open world and putting everything you got to a successful game, why else make it so full of potential to just not give it what it needs to end well? Ik totk is dlc but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t add more to make it like botw, it’s become such a successful game it needs dlc to make the final product something that won’t need change later on because it already has it. When movies or games miss that, in return it looks rushed or makes it look like they wanted to get it over with which is something Zelda fans hate and have repeatedly said in the past “take as much time as you need”
Is it possible they’ve been developing the next game alongside TOTK and it’s set to release with Switch 2? After all TOTK was very lackluster in a lot of ways and it’s hard to imagine that TOTK took the entire Zelda team 6 years to make.
I need an updated twilight princess man. Either that or phantom hourglass but thats tricky due to the use of blowing mechanics to put out torches and the such on the DS integrated mic.
Breath of the Wild in 4K would do realtively poorpy on Switch 2 all things considered I think. I don't expect that most Switch owners care enough about playing a 50-100 hour game again, regardless of how well the graphics are inproved. In general, remakes do not sell as well as the original, doubly so when the inprovments will be nominal to most, not to mention the fact that most people who want to play the game, have already done so. Don't get me wrong, I would enjoy an updated BotW .... probably (I have already played the game three times). But Nintendo shouldn't be relying on updated switch games. They can be great suplimental content, but not the meat and potatoes on a new system launch.
I would love to see the OG game remade in a Echos format! Mario Kart was given away for years as a black Friday download. Does that count as far as sales?
I think the will still get a remake/remaster of botw. Because you could show the new technological advancement of switch 2. And if you own botw you can upgrade it with an update for 5-10 dollars like sony did with ps4 to ps5 versions.
All I want from Legend of Zelda is a return to form, to the fantastic traditional formula. That's what made me fall in love with this franchise - the well-designed dungeons, the variety of items gotten largely (but not exclusively) through dungeon exploration, Heart Pieces, the compact but still interesting worlds, not having to worry about my weapons breaking or running out of stamina. I never want to see BotW or TotK ever again; they are, in my opinion, NOT Legend of Zelda games at their core - they're open-world games with a Zelda skin on top. They abandon almost everything I liked about The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time 3D, and Majora's Mask, in addition to Link's Awakening and A Link Between Worlds (almost all of which I've been replaying over the last month - they *still* hold up amazingly well today, far better than BotW and TotK), and all this is abandoned in their reckless haste to be 'different', to try something new. I've played through the entirety of BotW and TotK in 2020 and 2023 respectively, and absolutely *nothing* within those games served to benefit my playing experience. The weapon and shield fragility meant absolutely nothing was reliable, and nothing felt special, not even rare weapons or weapons obtained from conquering tough enemies - they all broke and disappeared eventually. Not even the Master Sword was immune to this nonsensical game design; the only difference is that it slowly recharged its fragility over time, making this iconic weapon practically useless unlike every other Legend of Zelda game it's in. The limited stamina hindered exploration, and made travelling anywhere take unnecessarily longer for no justifiable reason; the lack of dev-placed map markers made it almost impossible to find hidden shrines or quest objectives or whatnot, especially those hidden underground or behind obfuscating structures, so an online map to circumvent this infuriating omission is obligatory; Princess Zelda herself is massively unlikeable and almost completely absent unless you stumble upon special flashback zones, which can easily be missed or viewed out-of-order (it doesn't unlock them sequentially, for some stupid reason). The Divine Beasts and Temples, in BotW and TotK respectively, are complete failures as 'dungeons', as they're incredibly one-note and lack almost everything that made dungeons fun to explore - no dungeon items, no real minibosses, no dungeon map or compass, and the mechanics are largely reused between them (manipulate each Beast to advance further, or guide each regional Champion through their Temple so they can use their special ability to activate devices to open the way to the boss). The numerous shrines scattered liberally around Hyrule fail to make up for this, as a lot of them aren't puzzle rooms; they're either combat challenges or stealth challenges (which temporarily strip you of everything you've collected - WHY). Even the actual puzzle rooms don't feel as fulfilling as proper dungeons of old. I want more traditional Zelda - no more of these experiments. They aren't enjoyable in any way.
@@Mr.Chimpazee If that's the case, I'm never going to buy a new Legend of Zelda game ever again - since returning to this aggravating open-world format, when we're absolutely _flooded_ with open-world games already, means Nintendo has *abandoned* the soul of Legend of Zelda as a franchise. If people want an open-world game, then I'd recommend two games: Ghost of Tsushima, and Assassin's Creed: Origins. Those two games don't have limited stamina or equipment fragility, and overall superior characters and narratives, especially Tsushima.
@@PokeMaster22222you really don’t understand anything about game design. Ghost of Tsushima is a great game but is nothing like BOTW and TOTK and is arguably worse in many aspects. (Still a 10/10 to me though). I hope you never buy a Zelda game again and I hope they keep selling well just to prove you old gamers wrong. The new formula is better in almost every way. They are more Zelda than OOT. The OG NES Zelda was open world and that this why the new games keep the soul of Zelda. The soul of Zelda isn’t about traditional dungeons it’s about the freedom and feeling of adventure. You clearly don’t understand this.
You clearly don’t understand the point of stamina or weapon breaking. This makes sense as you have no clue what makes games good. Also SS(the most traditional Zelda game) had stamina. The new games sold better than everything that came in the past combined. I love that they are never going back. They are the best open world games and the best Zelda games. Also the new Zelda is THE most likable Zelda and you are talking out of your (well you get it) if you think she is poorly written or unlikable.
To be honest....it would be a Nintendo thing to Remaster Breath of the Wild 60fps before we finally get HD Wind Waker and HD Twlight Princess ported to Switch and Switch 2U (They will save the other 2 games for a release like those Links Awakening/Echoes of Wisdom strategy ended up being.)
I’m expecting a new 3D Zelda title for 2026 that was specifically designed for the Switch2 hardware. I know we got TotK in 2023, but I believe that Nintendo has been working on a secret Switch2 targeted Zelda title since 2019, and the pandemic threw a big wrench in the original plans.
Yeah, I'm expecting some form of port for Switch 2 - Even if it's just BOTW or TOTK upgraded. Every year except 2022 the Switch has had a Zelda game. I imagine Switch 2 will have something, in its launch year. Would rather HD/4K versions of WW/TP though! I'm surprised they never came to Switch.
If they make majoras mask, orcarina of time, a link between worlds on the switch 2 It will be bittersweet. I can play the HD on the TV But i would probably be officially retiring my 3ds And i played mt 3ds alot due to it being just a great zelda machine. I hope windwaker and twilight come though id have no issues retiring a wii u
I wish they’d give link to the past a remake in the breath of the wild style but I doubt it since they gave us link between worlds (not complaining) and if they were to make a link to the past remake they’d probably do it in the link’s awaken and echoes of wisdom style
Breath of the wild launched the last Nintendo console. This started upsetting me when the video poster blabbed bout it being a possible launch title for the next console, if Nintendo were to do that, would be about as lazy as that 3d Mario anniversary jumble they threw together which was just emulation
Nah I think they will upgrade the games with a special software. They will announce in February wind waker port for Switch in April/May and in April they will announce Twilight Princess for Switch 1/2 but with the upgrades of that sofware to be launch in Novembre/December
There is no way I’m paying more than $10 to upgrade to a 4K Breath of the Wild. I don’t have any issues with its current graphics settings and don’t see how it can be improved enough to buy it again. Same for Wind Waker and Twilight Princess which I have on Wii U. But I’ll pay any amount of money they want for Ocarina of Time HD.
Everyone saying that the next 3d Zelda isn’t until 2030 is plain wrong. The only reason botw was so long after ss is because the switch’s launch delayed the launch of botw too, and the only reason totk was so long after was because of the dlc and because of Covid. Realistically they started working on the next 3d Zelda in 2022 while a small team fixed the bugs in totk. All in all I could see the next 3d Zelda as early as 2026 or 2027.
2027 at the earliest. I will always believe that TOtK was going to release in 2021 but COVID delayed it. 5 years seems reasonable for the next Zelda game.
As incredible as BOTW was and is, a retread of it that will feel very similar to most people, will not do anywhere near Mario Kart 8 numbers. If the original “only” sold half of MK8 they would be foolish to assume a rerelease would do that better. Better off with a multiverse type of Zelda where you travel to some of the past game styles, BOTW, WW, Twilight Princess, Majoras Mask with a dungeon on each that fits into 1 story. That would show the power of the new engine, give fans a taste of remastered old games and offer a unique storyline.
If they still give us TPHD port on Switch 1(I doubt it tho), then I will ascend because then the meme is preserved(The Zelda game that was on 4 console generations in a row natively, lmaooo). Otherwise, I really have no big aim for what I wish for. I unironically look forward more to GC NSO than I do the idea of an OOT reimagining or WWHD port, even tho I really want those too.
i really want ww and twilight princess but the one doing these said he wont do another twilight princess because its too dark. maybe im wrong but i think it should be up the real zelda fans who have been around and faithful for many years. also luv all the older Zelda games they r amazing oracle of ages and seasons luv almost all of them. ♥️♥️♥️

I also agree that there will be new content in a BOTW switch 2 remaster. We do NOT need a BOTW or TOTK port or remaster anytime soon! They are both still extremely modern.
I mean yes and no. They play better than most modern AAA and have 3x the polish. But the visuals could be better as the switch is such a weak system.

My guess is:
• 2025: A 4K port of Wind Waker (likely completed long ago).
I hope they really do make some good Zelda releases in 2025
Same here. And I hope we get some updates for Windwaker since it has been 10 years since the rerelease on the Wii. I missed expiring the vast ocean experiences.
@ if anything I need twilight princess
I want TP for Nintendo Switch
@@LiemDang-n2u same
@@a.jthomas6132 Wind Waker wasn't on the Wii.
I think it's funny that up until the Switch Twilight Princess has released on every home console since its main release on Gamecube/Wii
I mean... is that not just the WiiU?
Don't get me wrong, I want TP as much as anyone. But just being released on 1 extra platform isn't exactly groundbreaking.
Windwaker! Windwaker! Windwaker! Windwaker!
Lets be honest, we need the 3DS ports of OOT and Majoras Mask on Switch 2. As well as Twilight Princess and Wind Waker HD
Do you guys think, that we may get our first look at the next big 3D Zelda game sometime this year?
November 2011: Skyward Sword Release ---- +2,5 years ----> First Botw Teaser E3 2014
March 2017: Botw Release ---- +2 years ----> First Totk Teaser E3 2019
May 2023: Totk Release ---- +2 years ----> 2025 First Look at next Zelda game?
Given the massive timegap between each mainline Zelda 3D release title I think we are looking at 2029 or 2030 for the next Zelda that is not a 2D or 2.5D or some form of re-release.
Twilight Princess (2006)
-Bunch of 3DS games and re-realeases (including Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, Ocarina of Time 3DS)
Skyward Sword (2011) 5 year gap
-Bunch of 3DS games and re-realeases (including A Link Btween Worlds, Wind Waker HD, Majoras Mask 3DS, Twilight Princess HD)
Breath of the Wild (2017) 6 year gap
-Hyrule Warriors, Links Awakening Remake, Age of Calamity
Tears of the Kingdom (2023) 6 year gap
-Echoes of Wisdom
So for the past couple of decades the 5 to 6 year gap is pretty consistent.
yup. I'm not expecting the next mainline 3D game until 2029.
The next 3D Zelda will be released near the release or after the release of the movie.
@@vincentprado6676 I wish that move to be cancelled tbh. Don't have enough faith on holywood to do live action right anymore.
You need to keep in mind tho that ToTK’s development took much longer than it needed to because of the pandemic and even AFTER that setback they released it a year later than it was “completed” in order to optimize/perfect the collision/interaction mechanics because they needed them for EVERY ITEM IN THE GAME
1) I don’t foresee the next game going nearly that crazy with the level to which you can interact with the world (could be wrong tho)
2) MOST IMPORTANTLY, up until after the release of BoTW, the Zelda team was split into a console team and a handheld team. Since the birth of the switch those teams have now combined and grown which should theoretically reduce development time
3) Nintendo is absolutely swimming in money rn which means they can afford more staff and lower dev times
@@CarterInosencioyeah apparently the ultrahand physics took 4 years to work properly. Every item had to be a physics item.
The funny thing is, we won’t get any of these!
We’ll get a new tingle game or something lol
I really really want Ocarina of time remake.
Technically we already have it from 3DS, but they'd have to rework it and upscale it from that. I would hope that they fix the coloring of Ganon at the end, it should stay dark and gritty.
Nah 3ds doesn't count as a remake of what most are expecting
The 3ds was way more of a kinda of galorfied remaster then anything with just updated models nothing else was drastically changed aka similar to shadow of the colossus which in itself is just the same game just updated visuals
I can only call it a real remake if not only just the visuals are updated but
1
some of the plot was changed a little with more add on to the story
2 extra items and some extra side dungeons and new areas
3
some of the dungeons were worked and placed different a bit and the map was made way BIGGER with new stuff added in it
THATS A REAL REMAKE aka in the RE1 fashion
that's what most people are actually expecting and if Nintendo ever did it iam pretty sure this is the path they would go DURRR obviously
The 3ds OOT is non of this it doesnt even count close to a remake is
Still hoping for a remake of the Oracle games.
I know I can't isn't a big enough difference to pay for
60 fps is way more important. Especially if they are using diss.
An overclocked Switch running an M-Classic upscaler can run BOTW at an almost perfect 60fps and at 1440p
@@luckyrockmore2796 nice. That means we got a good chance at BOTW 4k 60 fps with DLSS. Or at least 1440p worst case scenario.
I think a totk DX for the switch 2 would have some “dlc” but the Zelda side story would be saved for an AOC 2
Yeah the new Hyrule warriors game will probably fill out the story. Just like BOTW.
If they are going to Remaster WW and TP they might as well put them on the Switch 1 so that all the 3D Zelda games can be played on Switch 1.
For the next Mario Kart game, Zelda should be the next guest character.
Breath of the Wild 4K likely won’t come out until 2027 considering all the other HD remakes of the 3D games came out on their games’ respective 10th anniversaries
Yes 👍 a good year for wind waker hd in Nintendo switch 1 or 2 thanks you so much 4:47 you the best channel I ever seen ❤️
If they sell Breath of the Wild again, I hope Nintendo can add in new contents for Tears of the kingdom.
I think they’ll add new content to both and rerelease them for the switch 2
if they sell breath of the wild again I will officially lose all respect for nintendo
@@Bennnj10 Naahh…i will buy it with my godamn money.
@@Bennnj10they will probably sell a 4K patch for 10$ to people who already own it.
I don't think anyone really thought of the "New Nintendo 3DS" as a next-generation handheld since we'd gotten so many 3DS models (2DS, 3DS XL, etc.) and new games were available on both for the most part (besides Fire Emblem Warriors, Sushi Strikers, etc.)
I think the DLSS 4K upscaling will work on most native Switch titles, but they will have some like BotW and Pokémon Scarlet/Violet that they'll want to showcase with fancier textures or performance improvements.
Wow, what did Tingle do to you????
U do u, but you’re missing out on a great game w EoW
I'd have zero interest in BotW. A TotK with additional content would be a day-one-purchase for sure though.
Probably just a 4k patch or something like that for TOTK and BOTW.
Maybe Botw upscale will come out in 2027? when its 10th aniversity.... yea BOTW turns 10 years old in 2 years.. let that sink in
Why would we get 3 games pretty much all the same. Botw totk then botw again?
Old👴...
@@JordanMac79 why would we want to get Twilight princess and wind waker hd again? why whould we want mario kart 8 deluxe again on switch 2? why would anyone want any remake on a new stronger console when they can dust out the old system to play it on?

It would be a perfect time to release a DLC for TOTK with the Switch 2 launch in 4K hopefully 60fps
They said no DLC for TOTK was coming because they are busy working on the next game and they didn’t believe they could add anything more to TOTK.
@ that’s what they want you to believe 🫨
How can we have a Link Between Worlds remake before A Link to the Past remake? 🤔🤔🤔
The Legend of Zelda : Dungeon/Shrine Maker using the new mouse control of the new joycons 🤤 would be so dope
That tech demo was showing off back in 2016/2017 what the next new zelda game could look like that was never twilight princess remake or HD
That was what was scrapped and they went with the cell shaded look that became breath of the wild look instead.
Honestly, if they could just make 1080p at a rock solid 60fps, I would be happy. Playing TOTK on an emulator at 60fps vastly improved the experience for me.
I would be super happy if this happens because handheld especially will be awesome if they pulled it off. Not an easy accomplishment though.
Bro at this point, it HAS to be Windwaker or Twilight Princess. This is the perfect opportunity to get these games now as a switch 1 release before the new switch comes out… then when switch 2 releases they can port versions of BOTW and TOTK.
We need a 3D all stars for Zelda like we got for Mario
I would love to see the OG game remade in a Echos format!
I guarantee that if they release these Zelda games. Wind waker or twilight princess I’d buy them in a heartbeat
I'm thinking the OoT remake is going to be the 40th anniversary game, as well as the next mainline Zelda game
Would be nice to get an 4K update for free your switch (2) online subscription.
I’m ready to get excited about the next Zelda game!!! Lets go
I need an updated twilight princess man.
Naaah…not gonna happen. Open-world zelda are game changer for new generation 🌚
@@PokeMaster22222 Well yeah, i’ve already own that two games on Pc.
I do hope we get breath of the wild 4k on the switch 2, that really would be amazing.
I'm desperate for Twilight Princess HD on a MODERN console that doesn't cost 500 dollars for a user console.
I hope they bring out Legend of the Zelda Ocarina of Time, because it would be so awesome to play as Sheik in it!!😊
I’m expecting a new 3D Zelda title for 2026 that was specifically designed for the Switch2 hardware. I know we got TotK in 2023, but I believe that Nintendo has been working on a secret Switch2 targeted Zelda title since 2019, and the pandemic threw a big wrench in the original plans.
Personally, I would like to see a remaster of the Oracle games.
BOTW is a wiiu game ported over the switch. You would think a switch 2 release of the game would be a remake.
Ocarina of Time remake plz
If they make majoras mask, orcarina of time, a link between worlds on the switch 2
It will be bittersweet.
I can play the HD on the TV
But i would probably be officially retiring my 3ds
And i played mt 3ds alot due to it being just a great zelda machine.
I hope windwaker and twilight come though id have no issues retiring a wii u
I still want 3D open world Oracles / seasons and ages
I need Twilight princess with smell'ovision support !
Make windwaker and phantom hourglass as a 1 game but obviously both games in the box
I'll still save up till the wind waker and twilight princess finally gets a release date
I feel like the only Zelda game released this year is a remaster of BOTW.
True
I wish they’d give link to the past a remake in the breath of the wild style but I doubt it since they gave us link between worlds (not complaining) and if they were to make a link to the past remake they’d probably do it in the link’s awaken and echoes of wisdom style
Breath of the wild launched the last Nintendo console. This started upsetting me when the video poster blabbed bout it being a possible launch title for the next console, if Nintendo were to do that, would be about as lazy as that 3d Mario anniversary jumble they threw together which was just emulation
Id like a oracle games remake, seasons is a special game to me
Nah I think they will upgrade the games with a special software. They will announce in February wind waker port for Switch in April/May and in April they will announce Twilight Princess for Switch 1/2 but with the upgrades of that sofware to be launch in Novembre/December
Which ones coming first, GTA 6 or Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD?
Ugh I don’t want to run around the same exact hyrule AGAIN
Im still waiting on a game that will most like never get a remake from the ground up, and that's Ocarina of time.
Sooo which ones are confirmed for switch 2?.
Wind waker in 4K would be insane
Already do that on pc
There is no way I’m paying more than $10 to upgrade to a 4K Breath of the Wild. I don’t have any issues with its current graphics settings and don’t see how it can be improved enough to buy it again.
Same for Wind Waker and Twilight Princess which I have on Wii U.
But I’ll pay any amount of money they want for Ocarina of Time HD.
You said like the same thing for the past 3 years......
I’d only buy the windwaker reremake if they added the content that was cut from the original version due to the time constraints
To be honest, I don't think anyone would pay another 50 bucks just to get Zelda BOTW in 4K
Need twilight princess... just dug out my cube the other day just to play it
The CD-i Trilogy!!!
I hopefully Remake of Oracle of Ages and Seasons and Remastered of Twilight Princess and Sequel of Tears of the Kingdom as well
As incredible as BOTW was and is, a retread of it that will feel very similar to most people, will not do anywhere near Mario Kart 8 numbers.
THE PHANTOM HOUR GLASS,,NEEDSTO BE REMADE
I would be so excited if they did a modern Ocarina of Time.
You can played that game on steam deck oled using emulator 😂
Cmon sakuri! Add wind Walker and twilight princess hd to switch already please! I’ll give you all my money for those two games!
Dawg, why would they not just upgrade the game cartridges we already have
Wind Waker and Twilight Princess are my two most awaited remakes. I never played the Wii U so I never played those remakes...
Then why don’t you buy wii u at that time, if you hype those game so much 😂
@@Mr.Chimpazee I did, but never had a chance to start playing when the Switch came out.
wind waker remake would be slick
If not Zelda remaking do you think "Kingdom Hearts" remake will happen in switch 2 l mean it's like Zelda ✌️🖤
I'd be down for a remaster of Botw honestly.😅
I feel like Nintendo would do remakes for BOTW in 2027 for 4k
True
be funny if we get a out of left field a remake of Minish Cap (I can dream)
i really want ww and twilight princess but the one doing these said he wont do another twilight princess because its too dark. maybe im wrong but i think it should be up the real zelda fans who have been around and faithful for many years. also luv all the older Zelda games they r amazing oracle of ages and seasons luv almost all of them. ♥️♥️♥️
