TotK has a lot of tedious sidequests for certain items that aren't worth the time anyways. It is already a big and boring thing to collect all korok seeds and bubble frogs, finding all the wells etc. They really made this game a pain in the ass for completionists.
Yeah it really is a shame, they kind of treat ToTK as a kind of "second quest" DLC of BoTW rather than it's own game. It really is a shame the open world games don't have more "survival" challenges like the Trial of the Sword. especially with ToTK's fusion system, it would've been cool to do some resource management stuff. at least some of the shrines do that.
I personally lowkey don’t want another Zelda game like that cause to me it don’t feel like Zelda it feels like they got lazy that’s why breath of the wild feels like a demo to me compared to totk like it’s a good game but if I’m tryna play a Zelda game I needa story like twilight or minish cap
If Heart Pieces counted for the hardest items, the Heart Piece locked behind getting all Figurines in Minish's Cap would be for sure the hardest item to obtain in that game.
Hard? no.... Tedious? Hell Yes! But with good strategy most of that pain can be reduced since A LOT of those mystery shells are hidden within chests, so just make sure you never, and I say NEVER, be full of those mystery shells as you play the game :D
I think it's the easiest to get if you strategize getting Blue Shells but unfortunately the quick process strategy only happens when you get half way through the game.

My wife is staying at my side despite that i have serious and incureable chronical illness that causes me to get weaker pretty much with every year. It will end in me getting bedridden and as good as paralyzed one day. I already can almost not leave the bed at all my wife has to work and do all household chores while also taking care of me on top. The things we still can do together are seriously limited and it's also unlikely i will reach the 40 year mark... i'm 33 now. Despite all this my wife stays with me and we tell each other every single day how much we love each other ❤ My life had been a total nightmare with a cruel childhood & youth and now as an adult a very painful incureable illness but if i would have to choice to be healthy and my wife i will always pick her! A life without her would be even more painful than any illness.
i feel like explaining the rest of the BIggoron sword quest... after the weird guy in Kokiri Forest gives you that Strange Mushroom, you have a limited time to take it to Kakariko, and the potion lady in the room behind the shop. (getting into that shop is tricky, you need to ride a Cuko, but that can be done earlier to unlock the door at the back of the shop) she will then give you some "medicine". take it back to Kokiri forest. but when you get there, a Kokiri girl will tell you that that guy has turned into a Stalfos, and demand that you "give back" the medicine. do so, and she will give you the "poacher's saw". take that to the boss of the carpenters, in a tent near the bridge that leads to the desert. he will then give you the broken sword. then go to the very top of the mountain and talk to Biggoron. unfortunately, "his eyes are irritated", so you need to get him some eyedrops. he will give you a "prescription". take the prescription to King Zora. (he will be frozen in red ice, you need to unfreeze him with "blue fire" from the nearby ice cavern, unless you did THAT earlier) he will them give you a frog, and tell you to go to the Laboratory near the lake. (this might be timed , i forget) this guy will give you the eye drops, and you have limited time to take it to the top of the mountain and give it to Biggoron. THEN you have to wait three days, BUT you can speed it up by playing the Song of Sun 6 times. whew. PS: there's also a character named "Medigoron" inside the goron town, who will sell you a "giant's knife", but that one breaks easily. many people confuse that with the broken sword...
@@DJHumlanot in Ocarina of Time. You can't use the masks as Adult Link and the Bunny Hood only speeds you up in Majora's Mask. You use Epona to go fast. I don't even think it's possible without it to complete the challenge.
I guess it counts more as an unlockable than an item, but the cow your get in OoT for doing the horse race challenge that Malon offers to you. You have 50 seconds to do two laps around the field, with obstacles that you must jump over or you fail the race. You have to do this task almost perfectly, with little to no room for error. The fourth bottle can also be a pita in this game too without a guide, trying to find all ten ghost locations and learning where they spawn before they disappear. It's a long and tedious process, especially if you suck at horseback archery.
Oh my god, the locations of those ghosts, even with a guide, can be FUCKING painful. I have no Idea why, but even If you pass around their respawn location those assholes would never spawn -_-''
honestly it's gotta be Majora's Mask Great Fairy Sword you get from collecting the stray fairies in Stone Tower Temple, since you gotta constantly flip the dungeon to get some of them
The wallet Is a really tedious; the shield Is harder, I guess...? But like..... you don't even have to kill all bosses to earn It. Something like... 5 or 7 bosses? Someone correct me there, but either way, that's nothing hard, but fun x) More absurd Is the fact that upon beating all bosses your reward Is like 5,000 rupees xD

If the "you have to be able to use it" parameter wasn't established at the beginning of your video, catching the hylian loach in OoT would easily be #1 for me. I've probably spent a combined 25 hours in the N64 & 3DS versions, and I've never had it bite my lure, let alone ever reel it in.
Fact check: The Tycoon Wallet by itself holds only 9000 Rupees. The extra 900 the narrator added on is only possible with the three "Extra Wallets" that Beedle sells in his shop.
The upgraded sword for oracle of seasons doesn't need the trading quest if you already know the directions when in the lost woods, still need a linked game for the master sword, but not difficult at all
What about the Hylian Shield from Skyward Sword? That was also very tough to get and to make it worse, you get it so late in the game, and after almost all of the game’s dungeons. Going through the thunder dragon’s boss rush was like The Ultimate Choice from Kirby Star Allies.
While It Is not any hard to find, thought It has a requirement, I'd love to make an honorable mention to the Swimmer's Ring In Oracle of Ages. At some point you encounter a man with flippers In an Island above the Zora's Domain. Talking to him will give you a code you need to pass back to Oracle of Seasons (which Is the requirement, It's gotta be the first of the Oracles to play so your Oracle of Ages must be started with the code of having ended Seasons first). While It's not hard to do, It Is a VERY SATISFYING ring to have, you will love swimming In Oracle of Ages despite how annoying It Is to swim there, especially cuz the temple you are going at that point Is within Jabu, again xD
I personally feel like Addison’s fabric was harder/more tedious to get than Koltin’s, considering there’s no way to highlight where he is located; you just have to hunt him down. Cool list! When you said the final bottle for ALttP, I thought you were going to say from OoT; I hated getting that bottle 😂
I've a big nerd and I have pretty much all of these. I missed Minish Cap and Triforce Heroes. Getting the fully powered up Master Sword on Master Mode is definitely the hardest, difficulty wise, mostly due to a very specific floor involving a lizalfos. If you know, you know. I'd put the Bomber's Ring second, I think. Though I was a lot younger when I got that one so I might have just not been very good at video games. The hardest piece of heart (outside of Minish Cap, to my understanding) was probably the whip race in Spirit Tracks. I found the controls for that very difficult. Honorable mentions to getting all the photographs in Wind Waker and getting... everything... in Tears of the Kingdom. I remember thinking I got everything in ToTK, going through my menus and figuring out that I was still missing a schematic. Pretty long checklist there.
Upon watching that you can get a bigger wallet than one could back In the GC version, I think that Is way more arguable due to the armor that consumes rupees Instead of hp as you get hit. Like, Imagine the length of that armor with all those rupees Instead of just 1,000 xD
I think that rather than the Fierce Deity Mask being the pick for Majora’s Mask, it should have been the Couples Mask. The way you have to manage time over the three days and show up at certain locations at certain times and the tricky thrives lair part all are reasons. One missed sequence of events and no mask.
oh, there are also two other rare items connected to that quest: the Postman's hat, and the last empty bottle. to get BOTH of those, you would have to do that entire sequence TWICE! oh, and to get the Fierce Deity mask, you have to get ALL the other masks, INCLUDING the Couple's mask!
The exclusion of Heart Pieces leaves me wondering what could be the item in Minish Cap, because that one Heart Piece in the house that's locked behind thousands and thousands of shells worth of figurines, is literally the only thing I can think of that would be hard to get in that game.
@ you correct that once you return bow wow, that's it. This is why I delay returning bow wow until I come to a point where I can't go any further because of bow wow being present.
What about the magic armor from Twilight Princess? While donating rupees is the easiest part, there is a segment where you have to carry a barrel full of water through Hyrule Field to the goron that fixed the bridge. All that for the worst Zelda item is not worth it.
Try getting the fully-powered Master Sword in Master Mode, which I still couldn't finish. On the other hand, if you get the Lynel Echo, you can get even the Green Tunic quite easily.
the freezard challenge is actually easy if you make it a stealth challenge--create an echo of a brazier and hide behind it as you melt the freezards one by one
That's absolutely true. I had a terrible time with that challenge until I broke down and looked it up on youtube. I never thought to do it that way. I was so mad that it could've been so easy from the start!
The fierce deities mask is only hard because the jumps you got to make with the Goron when you're inside Majora's mask are so easy to mess up but if you're good with controlling his rolling spike form it's really not too bad I mean who wouldn't want to get all the masks in the game although the couples mask is kind of annoying
me and my brother got the fd armor in triforce heroes. the hard part was finding a random to slog through it, cause they ragequit a lot. but we learned a strat to shit on the dark links; one of us charge a spin attack with the spin attack armor, and the other will pick him up and throw him at the dark links while releasing the attack. we shit on the dark links. sad we couldnt play with just eachother without a third.
Those stretched aspect ratios, horrible "super eagle" filters in your emulators and ridiculous mispronunciations were far more painful than anything you mentioned in this video.
Master Sword Trials were easier after Beginner, especially on Master Mode, due to the better stuff you could get. Even then they still hurt like crazy, maybe someday I'll try them again. Too bad unlike Champion's Ballad you get nothing to show for it in Tears.
It’s a good thing to figurine. Piece of heart is not on this list. That thing is the most brutalist thing to get out of every item there ever is in the Zelda series.
I'm working on the last couple Slumber Dojo challenges in Echoes, but I would give the nod to Trial of the Sword for the hardest. That was pretty ferocious, even compared to the Savage Labyrinth and Cave of Ordeals. To say nothing of the version in Master mode - holy crap. I haven't gotten through THAT yet, and not sure I will! 🙂
Have you tried eating a meal that gets you a 30-minute high-level upgrade before grasping the sword to start the trial? Lots of people like a 30-minute defense or a 30-minute attack boost. And they cook it inside the Great Deku Tree right before starting, to maximize the minutes. (I do think some people prefer a combination such as three Armored Carp and two Ironshrooms but I never tried that.)
I would actually argue that wallets should be excluded from this list as they are passive items that increase how many rupees you can hold - they aren’t items that you can select and use - similar to pieces of heart and heart containers - they’re always enabled when you collect them.
@: did you even hear the disclaimer at the beginning? They said they weren’t going to include heart containers (or pieces of heart) and it needs to be useable - so that’s why they didn’t include Hestu’s Gift. That’s why I feel Wallets shouldn’t count either. You can’t equip them, and you can’t “use” them like you can hookshot or bow - once you acquire the Wallet it just exists in your inventory.
@@Qdareaper: I can see what you’re saying….however, we can agree to disagree here. While yes, it allows you to hold more rupees, it functions similarly to hearts (pieces of heart) in that they are usable by allowing you to take more damage. But you can’t equip/unequip them. You can’t throw them like a boomerang. You can’t dig a hole in the ground with one like a shovel. It doesn’t give a damage boost to your weapons or damage reduction to your armor or change your appearance. I get that others don’t feel the way I do - but in this case I feel the “use” of a wallet is subjective.
I think other content creators have made similar videos. I also think that there's been a video about the hardest item to obtain INCLUDING passive items, so Hestu's Gift and that damn statue shop in Minish Cap.
I still have strange dreams from the Anju & Kafei quest to this day. I was 8 years old and tried guessing my way through the MM, as I I’m from Sweden and hadn’t learned English yet. This was before YT existed and I asked my freaking parents to translate sometimes but, that was to no good help😅 I tried my best way to solve the game with the puzzles by patterns I remember, I completed OOT when I was 7. But I took me years to complete the MM. I remember that I didn’t understand how to go further by the waterfall in Ikana, so I tried every single little angle to hook shot the trees over the waterfall, eventually I made it by accident. It was years later I understand you’re supposed to shot the Octorok with ice arrows and walk over them😂 damn that game as a kid was something from a fever dream man. I still think about that time a lot. It’s nostalgic/love & anxiety/feeling trapped
I literally have ONE Bubbelfrog left in TOTK - and even asking Kilton, and using the sensor, as well as the cherry trees, and going through EVERY cave I have done already, despite the check mark saying I got it - and I STILL have NOT found the last damn frog!! AARRRGGGHHH!
personally i think the botw master sword trials was pathetically easy i did have issues with the quest to unlock the bike though but mainly because i take a lot of damage due to falling
MojoPlays, ohhhhhhh....let me tell you what! Getting the full powered Master Sword in Breath Of The Wild was just unimaginably TOUGH AS A MOTHERF***ER, especially having completed it on MASTER MODE!! Not to mention how I ALMOST broke the floodgates upon FINALLY clearing the 23rd floor(I had saved all my bomb arrows and hauled ass up the tree as soon as I entered to take out the Lynel with Ancient arrow right away)! Beating that on Master Mode gives me a HUGE humbling buzz that I'll never forget just how monumental that Trial Of Sword was of accomplishing! Forget the other Zelda games as none of those challenges can compare to that in BOTW!
boy I would argue that ice arrows are harder to get than the biggoron's sword... and I think the hylian shield is the hardest in SS since you have to beat a boss rush perfectly, including the bosses who can screw up a run just by being present, like the imprisoned fight where you have to launch onto him. or just him in general because the only way to do it quickly is to brute force it and lose tons of health.
The Ice arrows weren't that hard In my experience. They had Its many tricky rooms, I suppose xD And for Hylian Shield In SS you didn't need to beat all bosses..... unless the Switch Version changed that? >.> Back In the Wii beating all bosses reward you with like 5,000 rupees, which Is pretty absurd xD And If anything, you could at least choose your first boss to fight, and If It went wrong just remake :D (I would always choose the final form of Imprisoned fosho >:c)
@@emishimaru-sama6449 errr okay, not all the bosses, but all the bosses _in a boss rush._ in other words, a very long stretch where if anything goes wrong, you just lost 40 minutes of progress. That happened to me three times, and the last one was the Imprisoned, so I said screw it. I also couldn't do the diving and landing on a target minigame well enough to get a heart piece. and there was one more... the main issue with that game is that when things felt hard, it felt like a mistake of the game, not me.
@@emishimaru-sama6449 oh no, THAT part was perfect. I loved the sword swingin, the bomb bowling... okay, the skydiving was wiimote-related, yeah.. it wasn't perfect. My biggest gripe was there was no way to move your sword position rapidly without swinging (since that's HOW you swing) so if you have to readjust your position, too bad. If you try, you'll only slash and get punished. Naw most of my gripes with this game's clunkiness are just... interactions with terrain and bosses. it feels very unpolished for such a limited game that took 5 years to make. And a lot of it seems like it's on purpose. Like "okay we put in stamina, now let's put in a ton of slopes you can slide down and even though it's merely a hill, you cannot climb back up! try all your stamina.."
The wind waker choice i disagree with. It should have been magic armor. Heros charm is just a fighting gauntlet thats not really that hard (for HD) and if your saying the hardest thing about wind waker (original) is collecting joy pendants, it sounds like you need to replay the game.
Forgot if I ever got that damn ring, don't remember if I did the lure, at least got 1 scroll I'm sure, didn't play any of the Triforce Hero ones, and I need to play Echoes. Have gotten all the rest.
getting kolton's armor in totk was actually fairly easy for me, getting majora's mask was worse. i ran out of food to recover my broken hearts and kept dying 😭😭😭😭
In botw there is a glitch to get the master sword place a fire next to it look up and then sit by the fire mash A and you can get it but I have not got it in totk
The bottle in LttP was hard? All you need to do is take the chest from Kakariko village to the desert entrance. Even knowing who to bring it to was obvious if you talked with all the NPCs.
Ice arrows are extremely easy to get if you have all the items required to beat GTG and it's way faster to earn. You only need 7 of the 9 keys to get it. I'd say the fourth bottle is way harder than Ice Arrows, without a guide that is.

and you can't warp at all during the time limit ones, as doing so drops the timer to 1 second

Talking to him will give you a code you need to pass back to Oracle of Seasons (which Is the requirement, It's gotta be the first of the Oracles to play so your Oracle of Ages must be started with the code of having ended Seasons first).
While It's not hard to do, It Is a VERY SATISFYING ring to have, you will love swimming In Oracle of Ages despite how annoying It Is to swim there, especially cuz the temple you are going at that point Is within Jabu, again xD

Getting the fully powered up Master Sword on Master Mode is definitely the hardest, difficulty wise, mostly due to a very specific floor involving a lizalfos. If you know, you know.

The hardest piece of heart (outside of Minish Cap, to my understanding) was probably the whip race in Spirit Tracks. I found the controls for that very difficult.
Honorable mentions to getting all the photographs in Wind Waker and getting... everything... in Tears of the Kingdom. I remember thinking I got everything in ToTK, going through my menus and figuring out that I was still missing a schematic. Pretty long checklist there.
I think the combat trial in TP to get the fairy heal thing is harder then the gold bugs
Upon watching that you can get a bigger wallet than one could back In the GC version, I think that Is way more arguable due to the armor that consumes rupees Instead of hp as you get hit. Like, Imagine the length of that armor with all those rupees Instead of just 1,000 xD
BOTW’s Trial of the Sword on Master Mode is easily one of the hardest things I’ve ever completed in any video game.
I think that rather than the Fierce Deity Mask being the pick for Majora’s Mask, it should have been the Couples Mask. The way you have to manage time over the three days and show up at certain locations at certain times and the tricky thrives lair part all are reasons. One missed sequence of events and no mask.
oh, there are also two other rare items connected to that quest: the Postman's hat, and the last empty bottle.
to get BOTH of those, you would have to do that entire sequence TWICE!
oh, and to get the Fierce Deity mask, you have to get ALL the other masks, INCLUDING the Couple's mask!
You have to get one to get the other. But agree they should exclude items you get at the end for getting everything else
I would argue OOT's hardest item is the Ice Arrows, considering you can accidentally lock yourself out of the item if you misuse your keys

The exclusion of Heart Pieces leaves me wondering what could be the item in Minish Cap, because that one Heart Piece in the house that's locked behind thousands and thousands of shells worth of figurines, is literally the only thing I can think of that would be hard to get in that game.

What about the magic armor from Twilight Princess? While donating rupees is the easiest part, there is a segment where you have to carry a barrel full of water through Hyrule Field to the goron that fixed the bridge. All that for the worst Zelda item is not worth it.

Try getting the fully-powered Master Sword in Master Mode, which I still couldn't finish.
On the other hand, if you get the Lynel Echo, you can get even the Green Tunic quite easily.
the freezard challenge is actually easy if you make it a stealth challenge--create an echo of a brazier and hide behind it as you melt the freezards one by one
That's absolutely true. I had a terrible time with that challenge until I broke down and looked it up on youtube. I never thought to do it that way. I was so mad that it could've been so easy from the start!
I tried that, they take too long to melt and you lose time doing that, it's a lot faster to pick them up with the rod and drop them in the pit.
I would say there are some figurines in Wind Waker that are harder to get than the Hero's charm an some of them you can only get in the second quest.
Only thing harder than getting the colossal wallet in TP: beating all 64 rollgoal games to fill it to the brim.

The fierce deities mask is only hard because the jumps you got to make with the Goron when you're inside Majora's mask are so easy to mess up but if you're good with controlling his rolling spike form it's really not too bad I mean who wouldn't want to get all the masks in the game although the couples mask is kind of annoying

me and my brother got the fd armor in triforce heroes. the hard part was finding a random to slog through it, cause they ragequit a lot. but we learned a strat to shit on the dark links; one of us charge a spin attack with the spin attack armor, and the other will pick him up and throw him at the dark links while releasing the attack. we shit on the dark links. sad we couldnt play with just eachother without a third.
I played many Zelda Games, but the hardest for me was the Hylian Shield from Skyward Sword HD
Those stretched aspect ratios, horrible "super eagle" filters in your emulators and ridiculous mispronunciations were far more painful than anything you mentioned in this video.
i love botw master sword challenge. ive done it twice. shame totk didnt have it. ive done all the bubble frogs too.
Master Sword Trials were easier after Beginner, especially on Master Mode, due to the better stuff you could get. Even then they still hurt like crazy, maybe someday I'll try them again. Too bad unlike Champion's Ballad you get nothing to show for it in Tears.
In OOT, I had a much harder time with the final bottle.

It’s a good thing to figurine. Piece of heart is not on this list. That thing is the most brutalist thing to get out of every item there ever is in the Zelda series.

I read that the worst Big Poe was near the Gerudo Valley entrance
and if the BOTW sword trial is not hard enough for you there is a master mode that makes the trial an even more painfull experience
I'm working on the last couple Slumber Dojo challenges in Echoes, but I would give the nod to Trial of the Sword for the hardest. That was pretty ferocious, even compared to the Savage Labyrinth and Cave of Ordeals. To say nothing of the version in Master mode - holy crap. I haven't gotten through THAT yet, and not sure I will! 🙂
Have you tried eating a meal that gets you a 30-minute high-level upgrade before grasping the sword to start the trial? Lots of people like a 30-minute defense or a 30-minute attack boost. And they cook it inside the Great Deku Tree right before starting, to maximize the minutes. (I do think some people prefer a combination such as three Armored Carp and two Ironshrooms but I never tried that.)

I would actually argue that wallets should be excluded from this list as they are passive items that increase how many rupees you can hold - they aren’t items that you can select and use - similar to pieces of heart and heart containers - they’re always enabled when you collect them.
It's a video of the hardest items to get. The wallets and heart pieces are still in fact considered items.
@: did you even hear the disclaimer at the beginning? They said they weren’t going to include heart containers (or pieces of heart) and it needs to be useable - so that’s why they didn’t include Hestu’s Gift. That’s why I feel Wallets shouldn’t count either. You can’t equip them, and you can’t “use” them like you can hookshot or bow - once you acquire the Wallet it just exists in your inventory.

While yes, it allows you to hold more rupees, it functions similarly to hearts (pieces of heart) in that they are usable by allowing you to take more damage. But you can’t equip/unequip them. You can’t throw them like a boomerang. You can’t dig a hole in the ground with one like a shovel. It doesn’t give a damage boost to your weapons or damage reduction to your armor or change your appearance. I get that others don’t feel the way I do - but in this case I feel the “use” of a wallet is subjective.

The Ice Arrows or the Fourth Bottle from OOT are way harder to get than the BigGoron sword.
The Goron dance is the hardest thing I did in Zelda game that even the Water Temple was far easier and no I didn't beat the Goron dance.

I still have strange dreams from the Anju & Kafei quest to this day. I was 8 years old and tried guessing my way through the MM, as I I’m from Sweden and hadn’t learned English yet. This was before YT existed and I asked my freaking parents to translate sometimes but, that was to no good help😅 I tried my best way to solve the game with the puzzles by patterns I remember, I completed OOT when I was 7. But I took me years to complete the MM. I remember that I didn’t understand how to go further by the waterfall in Ikana, so I tried every single little angle to hook shot the trees over the waterfall, eventually I made it by accident. It was years later I understand you’re supposed to shot the Octorok with ice arrows and walk over them😂 damn that game as a kid was something from a fever dream man. I still think about that time a lot. It’s nostalgic/love & anxiety/feeling trapped

personally i think the botw master sword trials was pathetically easy i did have issues with the quest to unlock the bike though but mainly because i take a lot of damage due to falling

MojoPlays, ohhhhhhh....let me tell you what! Getting the full powered Master Sword in Breath Of The Wild was just unimaginably TOUGH AS A MOTHERF***ER, especially having completed it on MASTER MODE!! Not to mention how I ALMOST broke the floodgates upon FINALLY clearing the 23rd floor(I had saved all my bomb arrows and hauled ass up the tree as soon as I entered to take out the Lynel with Ancient arrow right away)! Beating that on Master Mode gives me a HUGE humbling buzz that I'll never forget just how monumental that Trial Of Sword was of accomplishing! Forget the other Zelda games as none of those challenges can compare to that in BOTW!

boy I would argue that ice arrows are harder to get than the biggoron's sword...
and I think the hylian shield is the hardest in SS since you have to beat a boss rush perfectly, including the bosses who can screw up a run just by being present, like the imprisoned fight where you have to launch onto him. or just him in general because the only way to do it quickly is to brute force it and lose tons of health.
The Ice arrows weren't that hard In my experience. They had Its many tricky rooms, I suppose xD
And for Hylian Shield In SS you didn't need to beat all bosses..... unless the Switch Version changed that? >.>
Back In the Wii beating all bosses reward you with like 5,000 rupees, which Is pretty absurd xD
And If anything, you could at least choose your first boss to fight, and If It went wrong just remake :D (I would always choose the final form of Imprisoned fosho >:c)
@@emishimaru-sama6449 errr okay, not all the bosses, but all the bosses _in a boss rush._ in other words, a very long stretch where if anything goes wrong, you just lost 40 minutes of progress. That happened to me three times, and the last one was the Imprisoned, so I said screw it. I also couldn't do the diving and landing on a target minigame well enough to get a heart piece. and there was one more... the main issue with that game is that when things felt hard, it felt like a mistake of the game, not me.

@@emishimaru-sama6449 oh no, THAT part was perfect. I loved the sword swingin, the bomb bowling... okay, the skydiving was wiimote-related, yeah.. it wasn't perfect. My biggest gripe was there was no way to move your sword position rapidly without swinging (since that's HOW you swing) so if you have to readjust your position, too bad. If you try, you'll only slash and get punished.
Naw most of my gripes with this game's clunkiness are just... interactions with terrain and bosses. it feels very unpolished for such a limited game that took 5 years to make. And a lot of it seems like it's on purpose. Like "okay we put in stamina, now let's put in a ton of slopes you can slide down and even though it's merely a hill, you cannot climb back up! try all your stamina.."
i don't think the powered up master sword counts, since it's in a separate DLC
The wind waker choice i disagree with. It should have been magic armor. Heros charm is just a fighting gauntlet thats not really that hard (for HD) and if your saying the hardest thing about wind waker (original) is collecting joy pendants, it sounds like you need to replay the game.

In botw there is a glitch to get the master sword place a fire next to it look up and then sit by the fire mash A and you can get it but I have not got it in totk

The bottle in LttP was hard? All you need to do is take the chest from Kakariko village to the desert entrance. Even knowing who to bring it to was obvious if you talked with all the NPCs.

Ice arrows are extremely easy to get if you have all the items required to beat GTG and it's way faster to earn. You only need 7 of the 9 keys to get it. I'd say the fourth bottle is way harder than Ice Arrows, without a guide that is.
