I can relate to this so much, genuinely cried watching this. Replayed this game on the Wii recently and every time I’d unlock a new area it would make me tear up. Zelda is such a special game to me and loads of other people, and I hope it never ends

Exactly. Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom are NOT the only games in the series, the series is not only Ghibli. The first few Zelda games, Ocarina of Time, and Twilight Princess were much more Lord of the Rings

The scene of Wolf Link rushing to save Midna brought tears to my eyes; I remember the first time I played through that moment and I was crying then as well. I was just so emotionally invested in both characters and the bond that they shared. I was legitimately scared that Midna would die if I couldn't get her to Zelda in time. Thank you for making this beautiful work of art. Truly. Your passion truly overflows in every facet of this masterpiece. ❤
For me, when I first played through that section, I felt a desire for vengeance. Midna was my ally, a reluctant friend and some punk nearly killed her. I was sad Midna was hurt but I knew if I could save Midna, I could get my revenge on Zant and that fueled me hard. You know the writing and character are good when you can get a pure emotional reaction when something happens to them.
Ngl, seeing this legit had me streaming tears. The memories of playing the game. The dramamtic moments. The nostalgia. My inner child seeing this is absolutely having a BALL seeing this. The hard work and dedication is paying off 20 fold. THIS is what it's all about.

Just thanks you you did an amazing job, but those who want to read here is my story with this game. My mom buy me this game when i was a kid 12 years ago. At this time i was 7 and i obviously didn't understand a lot a the main story in the game (my big brother was also playing on his own on OUR save so i miss a lot of the game). The donjon (special regard to the 3rd one in the sea 💀) and other enigma were sometimes really difficult, but despites this i really loved this game and played it during years sometimes just to ride epona for hours. 8 years later, one day during the summer vacation, i decide by chance to lunch my wii and to create a new game on zelda twilight princess. I played it during almost 9 hours without interuption. Not only the game was really good, but every second on this game was a memorie from my childhood with my brother, and at every second i was finally getting the answer that tourment my younger self for so long. At every moment i was reconnecting memory in real life and it was just magic. And the music of my god this comment is to long but i still listen to them everyday. Everything in this game feel perfect to me, from the special but amazing atmosphere in the word without the white spirit from the dark hidden meaning behind every scene. There so many wanted mystery in the game (Xanto cracking his head want ganondorf died) that i just passed my time to imagine badass story in my head when i was playing it, and i still lunch the game at least one times every years, at least to do the fucking badass ending and to watch the credit, to finally cry when midona break the mirror. I just love this game. That's why i know that we will never be able to all agreed on the best zelda game : i think it's impossible for me to love another zelda more, because i have memories with this one. (The music are amazing)

The sword fight on 5:16 is amazing because it’s not over the top choreography where every move is planned. It’s life or death trying to overpower the opposition. Link bashing his sword and shield into the skeleton knight so wildly shows how inexperienced he is but also that he’s desperate to win. Amazing shot!

Twilight Princess is my favourite Zelda game, largely in thanks to Midna, and the level of communication (or lack thereof) that happens between Link and Midna, yet can convey the best partnership in the franchise's history, possibly even game history. Training with the Hero of Time, nice touch. Gave me a feeling of reading the manga version in some places, especially when begining the seige on Hyrule Castle.

Everything about this is amazing! I didn't want it to end! Its clear how hard you and your partner worked on this. The cinematography is wonderful. Theres so many things I love about this - my favourote being the training with the old hero, march on hyrule castle and of course, battle on the bridge as that was one of the best parts of twilight princess imo. Everything about this is amazing! I didn't want it to end! Its clear how hard you and your partner worked on this. The cinematography is wonderful. Theres so many things I love about this - my favourote being the training with the old hero, march on hyrule castle and of course, battle on the bridge as that was one of the best parts of twilight princess imo.
