@@MrNivedo to the best of my knowledge there are only a few major live action Zelda videos that are on RUclips. The one your thinking of was basically OoT the movie and the video was set up like a trailer, and yes it was an April Fools joke (one that I and every other person who's watched it has never forgiven them for. It still hurts). All the others are fan made and say pretty much outright. I think the OC is thinking of the first one and didn't realise it was a prank.

Oh... Link talks... But he just has so little to say, it's as if he's not there at times, and then there's those times when his actions speak louder than screaming it at someone like a banshee. For example; the time when Yiga Clan attacked Zelda on the road, Link stepped in and fought bravely, a blood frenzied look on his face. It screaming *this is MY girl, HELL OFF HER* wasn't enough to explain the expression at the time. Just the look on his face would be a dead giveaway about Link's feelings towards Zelda, even if he was slightly annoyed by his sweetheart at the time.
@@calemlinke773 It’s a common misinterpretation that Link and Zelda are romantically connected but they’re not. They’re just good friends. It’s been told in some of the Zelda games like Minish Cap.

Thats because theyre still celebrating Mario 35th anniversary until March 31st when their fiscal year ends. Its the same every anniversary; 25th, 30th; 35th all announced in the summer after the end of their fiscal year in March.
Actually, march 31st hasnt come yet, meaning were still technically celebrating Mario’s 35th anniveristy. Also pokemons 20th anniversity is this year, and pokemon has been a lot more profitable than zelda, so at a financial standpoint, nintendo has to get the mario and pokemon anniversity out of the way
I always imagined link was killed and thus the downfall timeline started during the showdown against Ganon after beating him in tennis. That being why he is in his Ganon form in all other games, and it seems more heroic.
RwanLink I have to say how amazing you are! You are making the dream of many who are very fans of Legend of Zelda come true and I am one of them! How does Nintendo hasn't finance this to become an official Legend of Zelda series??? This is goregeous. You guys have an overwhelming potential in your hands. Keep it up like that, be loud and get noticed by Nintendo to make of this a Netflix Original series someday. Really, every Zelda fan needs to know such a magestic audiovisual work.
This is absurdly impressive. If anything, I would complain that Ganondorf's Laugh, not his voice acting which was perfect, but the actually laugh, was kind of goofy. That laugh is important, and it sent actual chills up the spine on the N64, whereas here it contradicts the tone that you did such a good job translating from that original N64. But overall a wonderful creative exercise and something you can feel the love in. Thanks RwanLink!
Dang. This video should have the Nintendo seal of quality! The sounds, environment, and animation are all amazing! This is a perfect anniversary gift to the legendary of zelda. Good job. Good job.
Hey!! This was really good. Could use a bit more TLC but you are well on your way and I really liked the story. I've worked on sound design and sound effects for a few games/animations and to me, the vocals, ambience and music sound like they are clashing a bit. As well, the vocals sound like they have the high end boosted a tad too much. Honestly though, these sound issues are rather easy fixes by changing the EQ to match each other and separate them. Personally, I use the LUFS system for this. However, there are many ways to achieve the Cinematic quality you're looking for. The skinning weights are a bit off too, such as, Zelda's dress looks like it freaks out as she moves. That though, is well out of my expertise so I can't give an input on that at all. Like I said though, this is good and has me hooked!! Glad I gave this a chance. Stay safe and I wish you the best of luck on this project. I can't wait to see more :)
This was the best animation I might have ever seen! At some points it was hard to tell it was animated! The whole team behind this should honesty create a whole movie for this! I would buy it in a heart beat! Never give up on your work, you have so much talent, all of you, to doubt your skill. This was so well done I can’t wait for part two. As soon as the video finished my first question was where is the subscribe button at, and I rarely subscribe to any channels. This made me subscribe immediately. Definitely sending it to the other guys I know that love Zelda
My my my you are getting better and better at animating!!!! The light, the effects, all is very awesome! The movement are way more fluid, only some part of Zelda dress are sometimes bouncing wierdly at one or two secs but not counting that, it's great You did a wonderful work and good job to the voice actors and music composer!!! Thank you for your work, can't wait to see part 2!
This was really intense and pleasant to watch, the storytelling and music are really good. As for critics, I would suggest improving the basics of the 3D models, textures and animations. Zelda and Link wet faces are too reflective, soft and shiny. The hairs, clothings (such as Zelda's dress) look like paper, they fold, they don't look realistic with the wind or movement physics. The animation in most parts is good enough, but sometimes it looks kinda stiffy, as if they were just doing a linear interpolation between two points... The scene in which Ganondorf is looking through the window and foresee what Zelda and Link will do next was one of those scenes in which the movement was abrupt and felt weird. Anyways, this was almost a solo project and you did a great job so far. I encourage you to hold this feedback in mind and keep up that great work! I'm eager to seeing chapter 2!!! 🤩
WHEW IM LATE BUT IM SO GLAD I FOUND THIS 💖 I absolutely love the realism in graphics/animation and the voice acting! This is literally the best thing I've seen all my life, I can die happy now 🥺💕

Whoa look at that intro! This series is what we wanted from the Netflix pitch. Not that live action nonsense that got rejected. Can't wait for more!
i thought it was an April Fools thing, or am i thinking of a different video?
@@MrNivedo The Netflix pitch? Spawnwave news told the history
Nope it was real but Nintendo panicked and said " cancel the project ASAP. "
This is dark... I saw Navi be gone and the scene cut and I was like “nononono not watching this late at night”
I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to find this but as a massive fan of Zelda, that was just absolutely incredible. Blown away.
Massive well done to everyone involved.
Please more!
Ironic how you’re celebrating Zelda 35 Anniversary with the death of the main protagonist and the downfall of most of the good guys...
I mean they murdered Link in the direct a few days ago so maybe killing Link on his birthday is just meant to be lmao
I mean so did breath of the wild
In a way
Does near death count?
It’s the show off The Hero of Times tragic story and create a cool movie.
also the irony is nintendo gonna sweep in and kill this surely via C&D :/ even tho they're not doing anything special for the 35th anniversary lol

The graphics look phenomenal!
Poor Link is just a child... This animation really pushes that in his behaviour. It's heartbreaking.

Sweet mother of God
Yes Please and Thank You
This comment makes me cry dunno why
Link can’t complain because he doesn’t talk lol
But technically he could stop the collection of spritual stones and awakeing the sages if he wants to complain

AMAZING CHAPTER! You brought quality content to us while Nintendo is being silent in the anniversary of one of his biggest franchises.

Also pokemons 20th anniversity is this year, and pokemon has been a lot more profitable than zelda, so at a financial standpoint, nintendo has to get the mario and pokemon anniversity out of the way
Metroid: *Am I a joke to you*
I always imagined link was killed and thus the downfall timeline started during the showdown against Ganon after beating him in tennis. That being why he is in his Ganon form in all other games, and it seems more heroic.
i agree, death after going all out in the final clash against the beast.

I am totally impressed with your work and I want to thank you wholeheartedly for that. I got emotional every second of the video. Please, continue! I'm sure that I and many fans will be looking forward to the next video, a big hug!
I feel a great pity for all the characters in this video even Ganondorf because he appears as a "man" completely consumed by vengeance and I can't help but feel that all of their suffering was caused by a curse that was made thousand of years before they were even born
the video was beautiful (especially the rain and flames) Congratulation to all the team
the way you do all of this by your own. I AM IMPRESSED AND STUNNED!!
We might never get an official Legend of Zelda movie, but for now this is that.
mainly because Nintendo is WAY too paranoid even when in some cases the fans can do better than Nintendo themselves
Hey Rwan, your vids never cease to amaze me. The amount of skill put into this one is amazing! The animations are so very well done, I was hooked from the first minute! Can't wait to see the next one. Well done to everyone working on this!

This is what comes out when you are passionate about something. You guys showed what it means to really care for this series and delivered an outstanding tribute for it's 35th anniversary. The amount of details, all those musical nuances that mimic the original soundtracks and last but not least: THE ANIMATIONS! How did you do that :)?
I was hugely disappointed when I found out how Nintendo wasted this oppurtunity with some gimmicky content reveal(except BotW 2) and a cash grabbing port that nobody needs(just play the original goddamn and see through it). This is the kind of content that we fans deserve and you took care of it.
I myself really liked the part at 13:56. This image of Link and Zelda facing their ultimate nemesis with the Temple of Time right next to them was absolutely exhilarating(I can see this as a desktop background already :)).

Je ne découvre cette animation que maintenant. QU'EST-CE QUE ÇA DÉCHIRE!🔥 C'est épique, la narration est super bien faite.

Good job. Good job.
That was surprisingly good. Anyone can tell that this was made with pure passion for the Zelda series. Subbed for chapter 2
Honestly this looks great, I thought it was an official Zelda movie lol
That was brilliant! I’ve wished for something like this for years! Brilliant
The movement are way more fluid, only some part of Zelda dress are sometimes bouncing wierdly at one or two secs but not counting that, it's great
You did a wonderful work and good job to the voice actors and music composer!!!
Thank you for your work, can't wait to see part 2!
Man this is so good! I have always wondered what the end of OoT was like in the fallen timeline. Can't wait for chapter 2!
WHEW IM LATE BUT IM SO GLAD I FOUND THIS 💖
I absolutely love the realism in graphics/animation and the voice acting! This is literally the best thing I've seen all my life, I can die happy now 🥺💕
