The greatest tribute to the Zelda series I have ever seen
I originally found you this year in fact, when looking for someone's first time to Kingdom Hearts, then I saw you were legit a interesting person to watch so many reasons. It was then I saw you did plenty of other games like The Legend of Zelda, and wanted to experience some of those games again despite me mostly being a viewer of the series except for BOTW. And all that made me want to continue watching you for the future to come, and this intro also brought me to tears cause I genuinely believe you deserve the hard work put into this, and people like me will believe the same and are ready to experience more amazing adventures with you, can't wait to see what comes next.
This was truly the story of a legend. Of a silly Irish Twitch streamer/RUclipsr who, likely on a whim, bought a Nintendo Switch with little expectations and decided to give it a whirl just for fun. To try a fun game called Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild that he heard about, play it for a little bit, then possibly eventually drop it to go back to the stuff he was used to playing.
Little did he know, this "fun game" would change the course of his life as a whole.
He booted up that game one day, and was suddenly immersed in a world the likes of which he'd never seen before. A vast world to explore, with stunning views as far as the eye could see. And a world that he knew nothing about.
And thus, he set out a journey likely far greater than he ever anticipated. He got into some antics with a goat, was eviscerated by a flock of demon chickens, recreated Cast Away, and constantly got into arguments with his witty horse named Blucas. He met many wonderful and charming people and characters, learned of what terrors had occurred long ago, and truly came to know and love the world around him. He learned of Zelda, the kind princess who was also working so hard and trying her best; The King of Hyrule, a great leader and, at heart, a loving father; Link, a silent and oddly adorable warrior who had the courage to bear the weight of the world; and the Champions, 4 charming characters who sought to support the kingdom they lived in.
And this game was only the beginning, as Dee went on to experience the other iconic games in the Zelda franchise. He learned of the great story and lore present in the mysterious Zelda timeline. And he met more fun characters, like Larry, Midna, Barry, Fi, Navi, Tatl, and so many more.
Furthermore, as Link met such wonderful people, Dee was greeted by a growing community of people far more wonderful than those in the games. I know I for sure found his channel because of his Zelda videos
And as Link went on a personal journey and grew stronger, so did Dee. He mentioned before of how proud he was of becoming a more responsible and more proactive person. He managed a great balance between his work, his personal relationships, and his Twitch/RUclips community. And now he has taken on more responsibility and become a *FATHER*, for feck sake.
And now, destiny has brought him back to the place and world that started it all, to greet his and Link's destiny as the Spirit of the Hero once again. Will Dee claim victory over the Demon King Ganondorf once again? Will he have the perseverance and determination to take on whatever this game throws at him? Will the bloodthirsty Billy make his return and claim his revenge? That is yet to be decided. But whatever the case, I am glad to have been here along the whole DeeBeeWay
Congratulations on making it here, Dee. I hope you really enjoy Tears of the Kingdom, and continue to be a fan of the series for years to come. Thank you

What Dee and this community went through is crazy... In 2020 he was just a humble "PlayStation Guy" coming back to Nintendo with the Switch, Smash Bros and Zelda, changing the course of history and the channel. Zelda game after Zelda game after Zelda game, falling more and more in love with the series, the community growing, the DeeBeeDreamTeam growing. Then, a break, a child, three months of growing excitement... And then the stream begins, with a intro that brings everyone to tears, including Dee. It really looks like there are no words that can convey what you feel and what all that means to you. It's truly amazing, I love everything about this journey and the first stream (all I was able to see for now) shows that this final chapter will be feckin legendary as well ❤💙💚

I found your channel because I had fun watching people play breath of the wild for the first time and since then I've been hooked on your way of communicating and having fun. As someone who's been in this journey since almost 7 years old nowdays with 22 y/o, those "first times" of every game and the hype of what that entry is gonna offer, I kind of re-lived those feelings and moments with you on the walkthroughs, like if it was me who's playing, IDK the rest of the Zelda community in the world, but for me, there's nothing else like seeing someone discovering and getting in love with the franchise that was with me years ago, definitely, a well deserved intro for you Dee.

They are volumetric clouds indeed. It didn't take that long, I think it summed up to about 14h or 16h of render time on a 3080Ti

It made me cry so much, remembering Deebee's journey, reminds me of my journey in the world of Zelda, it started when I was a kid, the first one was Ocarina of Time, until today it's my favorite, but I love every Zelda game, and I'm sure, the love and the admiration I feel for Zelda games will never end. I’m sure that Deebee feels the same way, now that he is part of the Zelda comunit. ❤

The intro was amazing. Linkinhood, Vtech88 and Bernwolff all killed it with the animation and BenthovenMusic with the godly music as usual! The callbacks and lighting were so good! (I did notice a slight error where Skyward Sword used Twilight Princess Link but it’s not really worth worrying over)
That's correct, I could not find the exact models for Skyward Sword that would be able to be posed properly. Tiny detail, shhhh 😂

This was so creative & incredible. Like HOW TF do you get this talented? Also, I have such an emotional connection to TLOZ bc my mom was the one who introduced it to me. She used to play it on the big ol ugly Gameboy. She was dying from lung cancer around the time BOTW came out & she used to really enjoy watching me play. She died in July of 2017...so I totally understand any emotional connection people have to the game & I can really feel how sincere he was with his thank you and expressing what his journey has been and how much he cherishes the community. Really really sweet.
