I’m a big guy and I appreciate you including bigger people for the scooters. I’m a new sub. Appreciate you thank you.
Just got my MAX 2 days ago.Have not ridden yet, just getting it set up and it is nice.I also have to get some gear for protection.Gonna consider the tire change also.Cannot wait to ride it.Not to many vids on this scooter but I knew about the company being in the US (Denver) and their customer support is great.Good review bro👍
I only have about 90 miles on my max and I love it especially with my steering damper
Bought the S2 pro back in November. If it's your first e-scooter you were going to have some of the most fun in your whole life. Amazing transportation
Dude, reviewing the RS5 Max, who cares bring on the RX7. With your subscriber numbers why aren't you first to review the latest? ESG and a few other much smaller channels have already done their reviews. I like this channel and your assessments bro, go get it!
I finally got my first e-scooter and i just wanna thank you cuz its because of you i got it so i wanna thank you:)
Welcome to the gang Tony! Ride Safe!
@@ScootaGang Thanks!
I been eyeing this model for months.. just not willing to drop over $1k on another scooter. Yume Hawk Pro gets me to 50mph via 60v. But I want another scooter for my son to keep up with me, at least 35mph+ thinking of G2 Master for $999.
Yeah I have the Ausum Gallop too (same as kugoo/kukirin), it's around 10 seconds from 0-30 mph while the roadrunner is 7.5 seconds. Really depends how much power you want. Will have a comparison video of the two out by August. But the difference between 35 amp and 25 amp controllers is quite massive, that's 40% more power.
Man I would Go with Ausom Gallop scooter. For your son. It's way cheaper and it's the same scooter as the rs5. Just branded different. And a lot cheaper.
nice video love the review
Hey thank you!
The steering dampener really is the best for itching your nose at slow speeds.
I almost had the exact same accident on my e-bike. Luckily I didn't have a curb in front of me and I was able to put a foot down.
I have the OG RS5 and it's never EVER given me issues. Has over a thousand miles on it, gone through a set of tires and brake pads but other than that it keeps on going. It's not the fastest scooter at 45mph but the acceleration is ass nuts insanely quick
Glad to hear, this scooter has been around for a long time now, lots of happy users!
This would be great for deliveries. Xtra battery for more range AND for transporting up and down stairs (I live 2 flights up). That stability is REALLY good. All that being said, I bought the OG Dualtron STORM for the, previously mentioned, battery design. A quicker scooter, for sure but for the price? I bought it on sale from VORO with an additional $300 off coupon from the ESA channel. Still paid $3000.00 and, with the torque, I would not call it a “pleasant” ride.
I'm sure you've been asked before so I'm sorry but when do you think you're gonna try out the Rx7? I have one, but I'm curious because you have great content and so much experience
I'm waiting for reviews of the Vsett 10+ Apex to come out. It also has a removable battery.
Same! It seems like one of the best values right now, especially after they added the 25.6Ah version. It’s only $60 more than the Vsett 10+ 25.6Ah
They definitely fixed a lot of problems with the OG 10+ should be a great scooter
I just bought a d4+ 2.0 and love it so far. I wish I could've afforded a nicer one because a lot of the features are base model cheap, like headlights, brakes, and a few other thing. I use it for transportation and it's reliable so far. Everyone has had solid things to say about Roadrunner as a company, that's why I went with them.
Are you a Mukuta dealer? Maybe you just like them a lot . I like the way the Mukuta looks something about that Grey and Green works for me .
I just got in a few used ones to grow our local scene here. It's a great scooter! Their newest model, the Vsett 10+ apex is officially out now, if you like Mukuta, check that out too!
I don't know if you will respond but did your headlight come fixed in the right position because I just got mine and mine seems to be shooting up in the air a little. The bracket I would have to bend in a vice or something. I figured it would come exactly right.
I believe I bent it down, but I honestly don't remember that was like 3 months ago sorry.
I wreck 4 days after i got my roadrunner... after 8 weeks and a broken wrist i finally rode again last weekend
It remind us of the kukirin g3 pro. Is it better than the ultron x3 60v 45amp
Does it feel same as a vsett10+ or makuta 10 the acceleration this RS5?
Very similar but a hair slower! Tested 0-30 mph and it was about 1 second slower then the Mukuta.
Scootagang im thinking about getting a ausom leopard for my second scooter
What pressure you reccomend for PMTs because there is a lot debate on reddit. Imo 27psi is good and max is 36psi.
35 psi but depends on your weight. I'm about 200 lbs with gear. If you are lightweight then 27psi could ride the same as 35 psi for others.
@@ScootaGang I thought so. So never that 50psi crap for these.
Fractured a rib in my last wreck - High grass on a downhill slope pulled the scooter from under me - I fly on a GT2 and Fuck Me 2 weeks later still feelin in
Felt a deep bruise in my knee for almost a year. 😅 Hope you heal fast!
@arielle94396 I'm already driving around with a spinal chord injury too. Maybe not smart. But much fun 😁
Heal up soon! Happens to everyone eventually, time to start investing in more gear! It might look stupid or be hot to wear some days but it's far better then the alternative which is expensive hospital bills and pain...
@@jaceSHOdude like how fast were you going when you took that spill?
@@SlimMichaelSpaghetti About 30 shit knocked the F outa me
Amazing Scooter.
This or yume hawk pro wide? Yume less $ more watts, same scooter basically? Maybe better stem folding too?
Yume for sure
Nice, Im gonna do a video review at 1500 miles almost at 1100 now.
Awesome glad to hear it!
My city must be different than yours because everyone goes over the speed limit here in Las Vegas. I still keep up okay on my Tif galop scooter. I want to get a higher end scooter with better suspension. My Tif galop really has plenty of power and fairly good speed just really want that plush adjustable suspension. I'm thinking that I want a 72 volt scooter, just can't make up my mind on which one to get ? It's between the King GTR or the new 10,000 watt Mars XTR ?
If you are looking at 72v scooters, the Inmotion RS needs to be on your list. We just got the RS Lite as well. Have 2000 miles and it's basically flawless so far. Should have an rx7 here maybe in a month or so we will see, so that review will be up maybe come september...
@@ScootaGang Oh yeah it's definitely on my list !! Amongst others .
Scoota gang do u think u can ship a escoocter
how do you value used scooter in what they are worth just asking
This is KuKirin G3 PRO just modified..The whole frame is identical, the battery solution is also identical, they just gave different guts and the scooter suddenly costs twice as much.
Did you watch the end of the review?
Looks like a clone to my Vsett10+, but i like it!
In fact i would prefer it over my Vsett, why? 52V 32Ah battery! I never needed the performance of the Vsett10+, yeah its often enough super funny but all i wanted was decent performance and good range. I never had the need for THAT MUCH performance.
Exactly, I think there's definitely a large market of slightly older (and wiser) riders that realize speed is not everything. Traction and control really play a bigger roll just cruising around town and this scooter is well balanced in all aspects.
I wish they made PMT tires for 6" rims...
Do you recommend any wrist guards? I wiped out at 19mph one June 1st and broke 2 bones in my wrist. I had a helmet on luckily but nothing else. So far I've bought eblow\arm guards , motor cycle gloves with pads in them and knee\shin guards. Stuck with a cast on until July 17th but I can't seem to find wrist guards that wouldn't prevent me from holding onto the bars.
No your better off getting motorcycle gloves and fall on your knuckles and slide if possible. Wrist guards will interfere with your ability to control most scooters imho both braking and throttle
@Spankmepink Look into gloves with palm sliders. They are supposed to provide scaphoid protection. Basically the sliders prevent your wrist from locking up and hyper-extending during a palm first slide.
I just bought the Reddy scooter 72V dual 3000W motors thing got up to 65mph
would you prefer this RS5 Max or the Inmotion RS Lite?
That's not really a fair comparison imo, the RS lite is another whole class of scooter it's 72v and massive. It won't fit in the trunk of a sedan, but the Rs5 will, so they are just really different. BUT I've been talking with Inmotion and they will be releasing a new RS style scooter soon that is in an RS5 size frame. I don't know the price but will be cheaper then the RS Lite and should compete with most of the midrange 52-60v scooters on the market.
@@ScootaGang you're right I didn't think of the power or v advantage between the two until after I posted. That'll be cool if inmotion comes out with a 52v. Glad your lady is ok and recovering.
I’m from Iowa city it’s cool to see you drive your scooter in places I see all the time.
You need to do a KUGOO scooter like the g3 master or something.
Kugoo is the same as the Ausom I show you at the end of the review far as I know.
Do these require an endorsement?
For just taking that thing out the box she looked awfully caked up with dirt under the battery cover lol
Yeah that's not the fastest.
Dude u aint clever because the title of the video states its the fastest 52v scooter they have tested, not the fastest 52v scooter ever 🤷♂️🤦♂️

The fact that the scooter is American made sealed the deal for me. I’m going to buy one.
So so your not confused, The scooter is made in china as every other scooter, but designed and quality inspected in America.
May i have the link the the thing that answers calls/music
Not sure if they make that exact one on mine since I've had it for several years now, but this one is very similar:

so no one in the comments section is going to talk about how this is MJF's theme? that's wild lol.
Sorry who is MJF?
In 6’5” 400lbs, what’s scooter 🛴 would you recommend for me?
The Hloie from amazon is 1k with all of this, but 48v
I can tell you that scooter would drive me nuts with the racket it makes when you are taking off and even as you are riding it it sounds like something is rubbing somewhere 🤷
hey scooter guy. I've got a bonus coming up and your channel has really got me interested. I don't want to spend my whole bonus but I want to invest. Got any particular models, brands etc you'd suggest if I wanted to spend, idk, 1k, 1.5K, maybe 2K tops as a starter? Pref 1.5ish??
Got a website to recommend where I could learn riding, road rules etc?
So just a good fyi. And I confirmed this with roadrunner. The tires they come with are 11 inch. When they are inflated they have a bulge and if you just check the size config and plug it into math equation that gives you the size of the tire. And it’s 10.9 inch vrs the pmt tires are 10.8 inch.
I could explain more if people really wanted to know.
But the wheels it comes with are 11 inch tires. Period.
But of course pmt tires just ride better because they are street tires
You’re wrong. They are definitely 10’s.
@@theskeptik1 ok I guess you can teach me the new math you came up with? Because you will be a millionaire if you invented new math..😂😂😂😂
I don’t want to sit here and educate you. But just plug in the size into google maybe they will help you with the math.
Heh education Isent America strong suite I don’t blame you
@@theskeptik1 here I will educate you. Road runner made mistake. Already confirmed with them. So you fighting a losing battle.
There 80/60/6 are 9.8 inch 10 inch tires.
That there old ones they use.
The new ones are
85/65 6.5
Which are 10.8 inch tires
Here
The tire size "85/65 6.5" can be broken down as follows:
- **85**: Tire width in millimeters.
- **65**: Aspect ratio (the height of the sidewall is 65% of the tire's width).
- **6.5**: Rim diameter in inches.
To determine the overall tire diameter, we can perform the following calculations:
1. **Convert the rim diameter to millimeters**:
- \( 6.5 \text{ inches} \times 25.4 = 165.1 \text{ mm} \).
2. **Calculate the sidewall height**:
- \( 85 \text{ mm} \times 0.65 = 55.25 \text{ mm} \).
3. **Calculate the total tire diameter**:
- Total Diameter = Rim Diameter + 2 × Sidewall Height
- Total Diameter = \( 165.1 \text{ mm} + 2 \times 55.25 \text{ mm} \)
- Total Diameter = \( 165.1 \text{ mm} + 110.5 \text{ mm} \)
- Total Diameter = \( 275.6 \text{ mm} \).
4. **Convert the total diameter back to inches**:
- \( 275.6 \text{ mm} \div 25.4 \approx 10.85 \text{ inches} \).
So, the overall tire diameter is approximately 10.85 inches, which makes it closer to an 11-inch tire.
@@dinachoueiry6073 I mean, you can just look at his before and after clips. The stock tires have far more clearance than the 11 inch pmt tires. This doesn’t have to be hard. 😂
@@theskeptik1 does not matter bro about looks. Looks can be distorted for many reason. For example the buldge is due to the fact the inner walls inflate at 11.1 inch due to the fact they are road tires. That just how they are. If you ever had a motorcycle you understand.
You can argue all you want. Maybe talk to Mother Nature and your eyes for lieing to you. lol
You prob researched it and saw I was right
Just educate your self. It easy.
Road runner offer 2 tires for the rs5
9.8 inch
And 10.89 inch
Even road runner confirmed this because I understand tire configurations very well
What is the weight limit?
330 lbs
Looks similar to the maxfun. If the max was 1,999.99 I would buy it in a second. 52v at 2200 is tough to swallow.
Yeah if it goes on sale for around $2k I think they would sell out really quick, lots of people have that much to invest
No offense but saying "swallow" too much or out of the context of food yikes
@@KTannerPaisleyKK-le9nm ok Tanny
do you not need a license plate??
Suspension....................hardware.
My 52v does 49mph in gps tested speed
Yo
#MJF #AEW
Why are the wheels different from the beginning to when you lift it on the stand???
Never mind I see it. I want the street tires as well.
