Seeing, Chessie, Norphie, and Brandy’s reaction to y’all coming home from Florida was just priceless, really made the trip worthwhile. I’d get that same reaction from my little buddy just coming home from work. Nice little train ride as well. Thanks JT.
The people mover at Tampa International Airport does an excellent job of moving people from one place to another at the airport. The people mover at O'Hare International was out of service for something like three years. It was finally re-opened earlier in 2023. Within a day it broke down. I presume that it is back in service, but I cannot be certain that it is because I have not heard anything about it lately. That was another good catch of the Amtrak train coming through Lakeland, Florida and stopping at the Lakeland Amtrak Station after it stopped in Tampa, Florida. You and Mrs. Tooth must have been relieved when the plane touched down at the Cincinnati Airport in Covington, Kentucky. The dogs wer happy to see you when you arrived home.
Really good one. Enjoyed the Tampa airport trains. It's always good to get home to the critters. And you can see that they are happy to see you back home. Thanks.
When that Amtrak was coming I heard a girl say, "Let's watch it go by." and they waited. She's a keeper. 😉 No matter where you go and what you do, when you look back on it the best part of a trip that might have been filled with amazing things, is always coming home. Welcome home.
Glad you made it back safe! It's nice to see Cincinnati's airport coming back to life with all the cargo. I remember when the big Delta hub was there and it was non stop planes coming in and out. Then it was de-hubbed and a plane would come in every 10 minutes or so, like what happened in Dayton after the Emery cargo hub closed and all the mergers de-hubbed Dayton.
Wow, great video JT! You got it all here, airport trans, Amtrak, alligators, and your pets! I just got back from Florida myself, had a great trip, took the Auto Train. I saw the Brightliners while at the Sanford station, hope to ride those one day.
Thank you for this trip with an original mode of transportation. A real open-air subway. I am struck by its accelerations. No rail but concrete surfaces on which it rolls. Wouldn't its wheels be tires? Is it driven by electricity? How is it guided? Maybe magnetically with the device visible on the sides... 🙄
That was cool , no steel wheels. Interesting seeing all the sensors in the tracks, if you can call them track. Cool you got a plane shot too !! And now the four-legged welcoming committee !! Awesome Florida video !! 👍👍👍
I love chessie and Norfie they are cute!, and gotta show the people the people the quickness of Amtrak! Nice work Jaw tooth! You always find ways to really drop the jaw!
TPA is a very nice airport. Airside E had both Delta and Frontier, both of which fly nonstop to CVG. Competition is good for lower fares. TPA just set a new record for most passengers in one day. You must live close to the Arc Encounter. Always like your excitement for trains-even the rubber-tire ones.
I worked at Tampa Airport about 3 years. I would of thought a guy that films TRAINS would of took the train to and from Florida. LOL. Joe in Dunedin,Florida.
The Tampa airport transit system, is technically a tram, not a train. It is basically an automated bus system without operators. You should have tried out the street cars that run between Ybor City and downtown Tampa.
Tampa is hands down the best airport I’ve ever been to! The trains are the icing on the cake. O’Hare has a train as well but Tampas seems much smoother.
Dogs: woo hoo our hoomans back!!!! Cat: Your back, cool. Okay I'll indulge you for a minute. Now, can I get back my nap?😆 I'm guessing it uses flat wheels with the guide rails? Imguessing there flat land around Covington?
Did you buy one or two for yourself and Señora Tooth at the (TPA) airport? -- those expensive ear of corn at the terminal? You know, Tampa Bay Buccaneers? Oh, I'm sorry. That is kinda corny, isn't it? Did you or the wife say... I'm on a roll this morning, aren't I? Dogs seemed pretty happy 2 C U 2. Cat not too enthused, cat-like, right? Gracias por tu video, Señor Jaws. RT sends, Puebla, México...
They have a similar train system at the Phoenix airport, but I haven't rode it yet. Thanks for sharing this and taking us along for the ride. Your doggers were sure happy to see you...Very cool video and thumbs up for sure !!!
For moving the big crowds at busy airports like this it's got to be heavy duty. The first part was your passenger train while the small terminal cars looked like EMPU (blue) and HUBU (red) containers. Then the big welcome-home to the snack providers. No Sophie? Be glad you missed the Rowdy Spring Breakers. Sometimes it's good just to be back
The cars were different colors, to match the airline location. All aircraft at the airport either go to the red side or the blue side. Parking lots are divided by color also
Very good train video. Haven't been by Newark NJ airport since I was a kid. This makes me realize how much has changed. Can't do what you do there Jaw Tooth. Great video. Have a nice day 😊🌈
I really enjoyed the trip on the light rail. The doggies were cute but the black dog was a no show? I hope you take more trips on rail - maybe Amtrak or Brightline next time you go to Fla. thanks, Jaw Tooth.
Great good made video, mr Jaw Tooth. When i and my girlfriend visit the U.S.A. i think that she also visit Tampa International to see these trains. No rails, magnetic pads and switches? And you and lady come home and the dogs are...( in Dutch: door het dak ). Greet from Zandvoort the Netherlands.
They are not rails, and the trams are on rubber tires. The tracks are just concrete raised sections. There are no switches, just crossover points. There are no operators, and it is an electrified side rail. So basically it is an automated bus system.
I didn't know the first train was there when I was at Tampa Airport, but I didn't rent a car. So, you got a dogsitter instead of taking them to the kennels.
I'm led to believe that if you were to place a coin on those 'tracks', it would NOT be flattened. Probably stolen by the somewhat-pliable wheel surfaces. A perk of being a maintenance man !
You are probably right. These trains are not very heavy. I was here a few years ago . They have 2 different train systems . One of them was new the last time I flew into Tampa and I think it was this one. My memory is failing me Lol
Gentle roller coaster for seniors.
What a good train video and railroad looks very cool. 👍☕️☕️..🇨🇦

Really cool Magna-Lev trains there, Jawtooth. Awesome bit of tech. A successful visit to Florida all around! Thanks mate! 👍🇺🇸🇦🇺
This is a first I think I have never seen you shoot from inside a train before
Really good one. Enjoyed the Tampa airport trains. It's always good to get home to the critters. And you can see that they are happy to see you back home. Thanks.
I just love your pets. They are so very cute. ❤️😻🐕

The other kind of train looked like the original people mover. I thought they were tearing that down.
Glad Frontier has direct flights to Cincinnati from Tampa.
Amazing videos Jaw Tooth keep up the good work

Aww! Norfie so Sweet! She's my favorite cat❤

Tampa has a really cool light rail system.
It's nostalgic. I'll say that.

Airport tram was cool. I’d love to get on it and just ride it around the entire system with no stops. 😊
That would be cool!
The trams at Tampa airport, only run from the parking lots to the terminal. Still interesting though.
I worked at Tampa Airport about 3 years. I would of thought a guy that films TRAINS would of took the train to and from Florida. LOL. Joe in Dunedin,Florida.

Teco announced today, March 21st, that as they reduce the amount of coal they use, 2 of the chimneys will be coming down over the next 5 years.
The alligator is probably checking to see if you are wearing his cousin.
I'm led to believe that if you were to place a coin on those 'tracks', it would NOT be flattened. Probably stolen by the somewhat-pliable wheel surfaces. A perk of being a maintenance man !

The trains/trams at the airport, run on rubber tires, and the public has no access to the roadbed they ride on.
