Here's my review of the Narwal Freo Z. ruclips.net/video/70l51aDKrT8/видео.html It's very good. I'm probably going to use it for a couple of months and then compare.
Imagine if they could fit one extending rolling pad on it somewhere and make one of the side brushes extend as well for the edges also increase the suction power, there won't be a competitor for the Eufy at all! ;)))
One issue I have with the Eufy vs the Dreame is that Dreame have announced a very low profile fully plumbed-in docking station for the X40. For people who have a convenient place to put the dock that can access water and drainage services (e.g. a kitchen, bathroom or utility room) that could be a very desirable feature; it's definitely a killer feature for me. Both the fully-plumbed and the low-profile aspects of a dock are important to me so that pretty much leaves me (as far as I'm aware) with a choice between the Dreame X40 (Master) and the Roborock s8 MaxV Ultra. The big issue I have with the X40 is that it doesn't use that wonderful extending side brush on carpets. Probably not such a big deal on rugs but in rooms with wall-to-wall carpets that means it won't clean the edges and corners. I've seen a couple of commenters on other X40 review videos say that they have reached out to Dreame and that Dreame has said that a firmware "fix" is being worked on. One of those commenters said he had actually filed a support ticket about it and got that response so hopefully there is indeed a firmware update on the way that will mean that the X40 is able to clean fully carpeted rooms far better.
Bit weird you gave the design point to the Eufy. It looks like an appliance, whereas the Dreame looks a lot more elegant, almost like a piece of furniture. I guess it comes down to your own taste, but I know which one I'd rather have on show in my home - and it isn't the one you gave the point to.
Very, very close tbh. I've been using the Freo Z Ultra for the last few weeks and I love the fact that it doesn't get stuck on anything. It does need to return to the dock a lot which is fine if you only have 1 floor.
Hi. I know this is out of topic but I have a question. My Royal 1025 makes a weird noise when i set it to the lowest setting when its on a high piled carpets? Is this normal? I have another royal and it sounds the same when i set it on the lowest setting when on high pile carpets. Is it normal for royal vacuums go make a noise when i set them to the lowest settings when on high pile carpets?
I think it’s as simple as do you have all hardwood floors and therefor need to mop? One actually mops. The other is just collecting what it can with spinning brushes, thus spreading whatever you have on the floor around.
I prefer Eufy for its ability to navigate under low-clearance areas, such as beneath beds, unlike other models that have top-mounted LiDAR systems, which may limit such access.
Hello Amazing videos, can you recommended for me please, with robot vacuum and mop is best,im have four children,im have every room floating floors. Thank you
I just move the robot to the different floor. If I want it to mop a different floor, I set the floor in the app, then start the cleaning cycle with the start button. Once the base station has wet the mop, I move the robot to the floor and let it clean.
I don't know about the Eufy, but the X40 has a wetness setting which can configured per room or area. The laminate flooring in my kitchen is more water resistant so I mop it with more wetness than elsewhere.
If the battery gets low, it will go back to the station to recharge. Depending on the mode, the run time varies. On mopping and vacuuming normal mode it's around 3 hours.
@@vacuumnerds from Amazon review "even bought the TriCut brush that is supposed to cut up hair as its being pulled up to see if that would help but, and it has, but it appears this has impacted its ability to pick up other small debris.“
Which one is better for animal hair? We have two big dogs that have hair everywhere and 95% hard floors. Eufy sounds like what id got for because of mopping performance but i dont want it constantly tangled or breaking with dog hair. Whats your view?
There's an optional tri-cut brush you can get for the Dreame that does a pretty good job with pet hair. The eufy requires detangling from time to time with our fluffy cats. The eufy has better mopping, but both are very good robots.
Eufy s1 PRo seems best on the market overall. I'd rather have the roller mop instead of the other onethat will spread the grime. I've seen vide reviewswhere a guy actually wipes the floor afterwards and shows how well of a job eufy does against the others. it's crazy
It’s very good. I did a video where I wiped the floor afterwards and there was essentially nothing left. ruclips.net/video/z24S5WYRxHs/видео.htmlsi=7TpVDHK7tNEVyCux
-does the s1 pro have a light so it can vacuum at night when we're sleeping? -does it return to base to empty vacuum if it gets full & then go back out to finish job? 3. Will it take photos of obstacles it finds? 4. Does it allow for remote monitoring when away from home like the robovac?
1 - no light, but it seems to work in the dark with Lidar. Maybe obstacle avoidance is not as good? I didn't test it in the dark. 2 yes 3 not that I'm aware of 4 no
There are always more vacuums to test, but the Curv is still excellent, but so is the Dreame X40, eufy S1, and Ecovacs T30S. I will do another video with the Curv to test obstacle avoidance more
Mopping on the dream is good when looking at the floor but when using a towel after , it is still dirty. If you dont mop yourself then take the Eufy otherwise you end up with filthy floors eventho you cant see it because of smearing.
Eufy really change the market with this new roller washing brush. And the price is really competitive.
Eufy is competing on price
Recommend checking out the SwitchBot S10 as well for a roller mop. For me personally, it was a toss up for me.

eufy looks better and more expensive
@@Murphys_Law9 it's ugly to me. I wouldn't want that in my living room. But it's subjective.
Taste is pretty subjective. That said, I hide my robot vacuums in the bathroom because at the end of the day it's still just a tool.
What makes the Dreame design unique it looks like every other round robovac with a LIDAR sensor on top and the base is just a rectangle
@khakiswag who cares how unique it is and noone is talking about the robot unit but the base station.
How does these compare to Narwal Freo Z Ultra??
Very, very close tbh. I've been using the Freo Z Ultra for the last few weeks and I love the fact that it doesn't get stuck on anything. It does need to return to the dock a lot which is fine if you only have 1 floor.

Sorry I have no idea.
Which one is more quieter noises a big deal for me
They are both pretty quiet when cleaning. The only time they make noise is when emptying the bag. I think the eufy is a bit quieter then.
@@vacuumnerds OK that’s good to know. Thank you for the information.
I think it’s as simple as do you have all hardwood floors and therefor need to mop?
One actually mops. The other is just collecting what it can with spinning brushes, thus spreading whatever you have on the floor around.
Can you do a test with dark carpet for these 2?
Sorry, we can't do custom requests

whats the deal with changing the bag? do these require constant buying of disposable bags and where can you get them from?
You change the bag every few months. Or you can suck the dirt out with another vacuum and save a few dollars. You can get replacements on Amazon.
Hello
Amazing videos, can you recommended for me please, with robot vacuum and mop is best,im have four children,im have every room floating floors.

Great video! I have a multi floor house too, how do you handle the eufy? Do you have to move also the base to the floor where you want clean?
I just move the robot to the different floor. If I want it to mop a different floor, I set the floor in the app, then start the cleaning cycle with the start button. Once the base station has wet the mop, I move the robot to the floor and let it clean.
I want to combination of both. it would be great if you could also tell how much water residue they leave behind.
I don't know about the Eufy, but the X40 has a wetness setting which can configured per room or area. The laminate flooring in my kitchen is more water resistant so I mop it with more wetness than elsewhere.
I wonder if I can resume if it runs out of battery while vacuuming
If the battery gets low, it will go back to the station to recharge. Depending on the mode, the run time varies. On mopping and vacuuming normal mode it's around 3 hours.
great review! How much does the antientaglmente brush affects sucction power?
The anti tangle technologies should not affect suction power

Eufy for the price
In Europe they are exactly the same price
Which one is better for animal hair? We have two big dogs that have hair everywhere and 95% hard floors. Eufy sounds like what id got for because of mopping performance but i dont want it constantly tangled or breaking with dog hair. Whats your view?
There's a new tri cut 3.0 brush for Dreame. I would guess it would be better in that regard.
There's an optional tri-cut brush you can get for the Dreame that does a pretty good job with pet hair. The eufy requires detangling from time to time with our fluffy cats. The eufy has better mopping, but both are very good robots.
Trust me, cat hairs are not the main issue, the issue is human hair. If you have girls in the family, the cutting roller is a god send.
The dreame works pretty well in our testing with all kinds of hair
The eufy doesent have a camera its an tof lidar scaner and the left part of it just looks like an cam.
It has an RGB camera, but it's not user-accessible.
Dreamy won off of looks
Looks are definitely subjective! No robot vacuum looks 'good' imho, except maybe Narwal.

is the Qrevo Curv/Edge still king of vacuums or has it be dethroned yet?

“Cat”egory😂
Yes!

eh? all the comparing but no cat score for mopping? literally why I came here. lol...
The cats were napping, but we'll see what we can do next time!

With any robot vacuum you’ll want to hand mop every now and then. I rely on them mostly to deal with constant pet hair.
