OMG I’m so happy this is a thing! At first it seems like the exact evolution from the 1/16th scale I was hoping for. But towards the end it seems like it still has the issues the 1/16th suffers from with the inability to drive it straight. That being said it does drive straighter than the 1/16. The short range hooning seems solid. If the price can stay budget friendly I’ll most definitely get one. Maybe even collect them all like the 1/16th. Thanks for bringing this to our attention 👍

I bought my nephew who is 12 one of their rally cars, and that thing has been dope I have a 1/10 scale slash with all the upgrades and his is still fun to take out. I’m gonna have to get one of these
@@disciplinerc I've been collecting 1:64 scale stuff like Hot Wheels, Mini GT, etc, and recently finally got the Street Weapon Hoonicorns and Hoonitruck, absolute beauties! Those cars have been a massive inspiration to me, and I go that kind of direction when I customize stuff like Hot Wheels! If you ever want a crazy custom Hot Wheels model or two, lemme know! ^^

Did you ever fix issues with it not going in a straight line...having a good radio with a gyro it should be rock solid like my mjx hyper go...kinda dumb foe them to send you this car imo...if they want $300 for a car they need it to handle well and go fast..

@@disciplinerc I have built one and it was probably my favorite build I’ve done and I built it with the optional sway bars. I like to get as many of my cars as I can as kits and that one was by far my favorite. I have mine up to 58 mph and It tracks laxer line straight so it’s weird that the car in your video cant seam to do that. Does it have sway bars? I put sway bars on the TC-01 and It solved any handling issues.
@@disciplinerc No trying to tell you how to do things on your channel but, it could help if you put heavier oil in the shocks, tighten the springs and put heavier oil in the diffs. Maybe 200k weight. The cantilever suspension can, in on road construction, can easily cause the car to diff out and make it spin out so if you stiffen the shocks, the car won’t be as upset in the turns. Just a thought. Also, thanks for replying back to me. I like your energy so I subscribed.

I think the gyro is backwards out of the box just like the HNR Panther. Why do they do that? It looks cool, but It will probably be as much as the sg 1004. I think it's a little pricey for what you get. It looks pretty cramped so it might be difficult to work on too. If it's over $300, I'll probably wait for the price to go down. Great video. I've been waiting for someone to review these cars for a while.
I thought the same about the gyro, but it's going the right way. You are right about the pricing, it's quite expensive. The Panther and Rlaarlo are almost half the price and perform way better out of the box. They will need to look at that if they want this to win 👍
It was correct yes, but I think it has alot to do with the suspension setup and front end toe in. Looking forward to figuring out all the kinks and turning into a solid performer 👍

It was actually the right way round, but there is some tightness in the drive line that needs investigation. The next vid will be awesome 👍

The problem with those things is they put the counter steering in backwards so it fights itself. PS. You would choose Phil!...😅😂

This chassis reminds me of the Tamiya TC-01. The entire cantilever suspension and battery placement is just like the TC-01.
Never had one, but I looked it up and now I want to build one 😱 That's a good looking chassis

I think the bad handling is coming from the tires ballooning at high speeds

Yep, the speed run bits are with it off. I'll have to look into it further when I do the full tear down vid and rebuild 👌👌
I got my self a panther and man that thing is hard to control. its way too fast on 2s. looks like the same issue here.
Yeah, I think that the tuning out of the box on this is a bit off. I'll be digging into it this weekend on a rainy day to check it all out 👍
The gyro is set up backwards!
Defo need to check that box when I do the tear down 👍👍
