Just back into hobby after almost 25 years. Had no idea that area near Delta port Tsawwassen was so nice for crawlers. Love your personality and energy! I’ve been helping people fix their rigs as well as 3D print some accessories and that’s really helped me as working on my rigs (new and old) as well as theirs really gets me enjoying the hobby once again in middle aged years. :). Really happy to have found a fellow local rc nut. (This isn’t my rc RUclips btw)
Hey neighbour! Glad to hear you're back into it! I love tooling too. In fact I like fixing and modding just as much as driving. Something about making something do something it's not s'pose to, makes it all the more satisfying. The rocks out that way are pretty big, but there are a lot little off the rocks areas that are good for smaller rigs. Shoot me a line on through Facebook sometime, maybe we can link up 👌

Wow!! Lots of potential for not much money. One thing that I noticed is how very similar the hb r1011/ beluga 2.0 and this are except size. Dude as always very entertaining. And I haven’t watched everyone else’s reviews but I think you might be one of the only ones that made it stock before the run. 👍
This is one of best videos I’ve seen on this truck’s capabilities. I really appreciate you putting it back to stock to see what this rig does out of the box. I’ll be buying one myself but I’ll wait till the craziness settles
That surprised the heck out of me when you got on the slimy rocks man! Nice driving and really impressed with MK-07 another great video! I love me some crawlin but sometimes I bash my crawler when I get the urge to rip! Its’s good fun this crawler bashing
As always mate, great video! Always put a smile on my face no matter what sort of day I've had. Superb bit of kit too by the looks of it. Cant believe it got over those rocks like it did. Awsome!!!!!
I'm not in the market for a new trail truck. I don't want another "jeep". I have a SCX6 JLU. I'm gonna buy one of these. It's a great truck with all the features for a great price. Most of all i wanna support Rlaarlo for doing something different especially making a large scale rig. Hopefully they sell great and we get a large scale Omni Terminator soon.
This video really showcases it's capabilities. I can't wait for mine to be dropped off by the mailman. I mean you were driving on slimy rocks and it was doing better then most crawlers on dry ones.

Great review Aaron.!! 👍 👍 👍 (as always) 😉 I've been waiting forever to see this thing.! It looks like a really good, solid, well made, fully featured & super scale rig.! I'd totally be rushing to buy one.. But.... I already have an Absima Bronx (Yikong Bronco) & a Traction Hobby cragsman Jeep which are both 1/8th scale trail trucks... I've got to be honest, I'm struggling to see how this would be better than those two.. I was expecting it to be 4S capable like those with great low down control & a high top speed.. It looks just as good as them, not really better... So all it's got left is its size.. And... 17mm hexes are concerning because where in the world are you going to get aftermarket wheels.? Also, it's pinion size seems to be quite limited so you're going to need to fit something like a Hobbywing 880 4S ESC for £35 to bring it up to speed. I honestly don't know if I can justify buying another large scale trail truck for £500 that doesn't really seem to offer anything other than being ever so slightly larger.!? Of course, they're bringing out a brushless version... But, how much more is that going to cost.? Oh well... MJX are about to release their 1/7 scale trail truck.. That one's a Land Rover.!! 👍 👍 👍 Stay safe out there mate & the very best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️ 📻 🕹️ 🔋 🚗 🚖 🚕 🚔 🚚 🚙 🚘 🚓 🚒 🚑 🚐 🚎 🚤 🚁 🛩️ 👍 👍 👍
I agree with your points completely. Yikong and the likes are amazing, but are hard to get in North America, so Rlaarlo does have a good foothold to sell here, but not so much that side of the pond. And yes the 17mm make after market pretty sparse. I imagine you could get an adaptor to 12/14 and get a nice set of 2.2's that would work. I'm waiting on the edge of my seat for that MJX, fingers crossed is comes this summer 🌞
That thing is impressive! I'm glad you took out all the hop ups to bring it down to a level us regular folk would be getting. Thank you. What I'd like to know, though, is do you think it'll tow a young boy in a wagon? I'm feeling old and my boy is heavy. Thanks a bunch, and I hope you enjoy the sun!
Great video as always. A few thoughts about Rlaarlo. I got the AK-787 for about 6 months. I have used it only 5-6 times. The spur gear stripped easily by a tiny rock and it took 24€ and 2 weeks to get a metal one. And now we come to the major issue. Working on it is a nightmare. To change a spur gear on my typhoon it takes 5 screws and 10 minutes. In rlaarlo 28 (twenty eight) screws and almost an hour of work. Second issue is that the AK-787s handling is a bit terrible. A lot of top speed and stability but in corners normal TT-02s are laughing at it. I think Rlaarlo has a lot of potential but they are not quiet there yet.
I am so tempted to get this for my birthday, but its either this or the FCX10 K5 Blazer... I like the detail on the Blazer but the size of the Rlaarlo... so tempting lol
I've seen about 5 other reviews about this rig, and each and every one of them were obviously duped like yourself, thinking the extra parts were stock. They all had to add overlay text to their videos stating the parts weren't actually stock. 😄
Kind of an odd choice to be honest. I couldn't be bothered reading spam emails 😅 But I figured it only fair to run it stock to see how it really handled 👍
That thing is amazing! Those wet rocks were no problem. It just hooked up. There were a few times when I thought those wheel weights would have come in handy. Getting over the rocks, help weigh it down in the water, if you lock your keys in your car. I think it's totally worth the price. That Dinosaur Age one is calling to me. It's got hours of fun written all over it. Will there be a coupon when we use your link or does it just help you out? Either way, as long as it helps. I really had fun watching you video. Take care of that back man. That sound effect made my back hurt. Can't wait for the next one!
Cheers dude. Yeah with the weights on it would be even more impressive I'm sure. They don't go on sale until Tuesday the 14th, and yeah, any clicks help out 😁 Stoked to 8s it this weekend 🤘
I'd say it's actually a bit more capable, it has the same clearance because of the portal axles. But it has too many options. If they dumbed it down, without all the open, close diffs or R/Fwd switching it would actually be better
They were for promotional reasons and don't come with the truck stock out of the box. Showing its performance with them on, doesn't really show people the true handling of what they would buy for the base price of $499
Sensored brushless motors actually report the position of the stator and eliminates cogging altogether. There are some really great options out there for brushless crawler setups and they perform just awesome. I did a follow-up video on the HB1003 where I used a brushless setup and it's amazing. Have a watch 👍
@@disciplinercthx, didnt know that, and also, this was a VERY well done vid, your vids and derby city rc's are some of my go to's, and as I mentioned to derby city as well, to do as much editing as makes you satisfied and have fun with. And if it gets too tiring, regular review vids (not much editing/cutting) with just your style of humor is good enough!
@@lyricofwise6894 That's really appreciated. It can take its toll. Honestly this video from setting up the first cam to finally upload took nearly 25hrs. Evans took 40. But it's all for the Lulz, and worth it to make someone smile. Cheers and thanks again for coming along for the journey 😉
I think the SkyRC GNSS is really accurate to read it. When it runs live it reads up to the 1/10 of a mph/km and it's the industry standard used world wide. Best on the market, it's worth checking out 👍
Another thing is MJX is bringing out a 1/8 ? Crawler... It looks like it could possibly be 🤔.. at least chassis wise close to the rlaarlo.. 🤔maybe... But its also that the MJX brushless... 🤯😁

Pretty much the same, a bit smaller but same ground clearance. 775 brushed motor, just a 25kg servo and a bit more expensive.
@@0xpadx0 defo will see what I can get, sounds cool 😎
Awesome show man. Love the South Park reference.
Khaz Modan is a World of Warcraft bit of video game lore. Thought the South Park episode would be obscure enough 👍
Ahh, I got a real one that is built to the hilt. I think I need to take a trip up to the Rockies.
I'd love to 1:1 scale wheel, someday
How’s it truly compare to SCX6? I’ve been impressed with their other RCs
I'd say it's actually a bit more capable, it has the same clearance because of the portal axles. But it has too many options. If they dumbed it down, without all the open, close diffs or R/Fwd switching it would actually be better
Why did you remove the brass weights?
They were for promotional reasons and don't come with the truck stock out of the box. Showing its performance with them on, doesn't really show people the true handling of what they would buy for the base price of $499
@@disciplinerc oh I see. Thank you for the reply 😎🤙🏽
Best review yet!
Cool, seeing it work on those rocks.
Curious...fresh or salt water?
Thx dude!! Salty...very salty. But rinsed off right away with some WD40 and dried, were still good 👍
Great as always 👍🏻👍🏻😃😃
🙏🙏
Theres gonna be offering of brushless versions, but I thought brushless was no good for crawlers because of the cogging at extreme low speeds
The GPS isn’t sensitive enough to estimate the speed of the MK-07
I think the SkyRC GNSS is really accurate to read it. When it runs live it reads up to the 1/10 of a mph/km and it's the industry standard used world wide. Best on the market, it's worth checking out 👍
Wow ... I'm freaking putting this on my bday list bro frrrrr
🥳🎂 Sounds like a good plan
Love the lights, especially the seizure lights LOL, love your videos bro, can't wait till the next one, let's go fast
Copy that 👍
Crawlers should go at least a lil faster than that 20mph top
Oh, we're gonna fix that 😏🔥
@@disciplinerc here to see it
What 2s lipos u use in transmitter
Just a small 900mah I found cheap off Amazon. Not sure the dimensions, but imagine it needs to be about as thick as a 4pk of AA's
Spettacolare... ciao dall'Italia
Thank you!! Glad you liked it!🤌🤌
Put it next to an xmaxx I want to see size comparison
Will do next vid 👍
5:35 I knew that was coming Aaron🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great job on the video Aaron👍👍😎👍👍
Insanity and 8s....what can possibly go wrong? 😵💫
@@disciplinerc There's only one way to find out??😜😜😜😜😛😛😛😆😆
@@3DMOFO2020 🤘🤘
Damn that's a beast, eating up those rocks 😂 love it awesome content as always
Thanks dude! Yeah, really impressed. Needs a bit more steering power and wheel speed, but it's got a lot of the bases covered solid 👍
@disciplinerc I'm sure the brushless will be quicker than 5mph 😆 I used to own a brushless, its on my videos that I made on here.
new sub here , awesome rc,great review, that's how you play an rc car,
yeah!
Sweet!!! Thanks for coming along for the ride 🤘😎🤘

Ageing is mandatory but maturing isn’t
True story sir 😅
Bruh I'm sure you wouldn't ever put a 4S in that NOT 4S bruhless motor
Bruh, 4s is the new 3s...😏👍
8S 😂 😂
🤘😎🤘
Another thing is MJX is bringing out a 1/8 ? Crawler... It looks like it could possibly be 🤔.. at least chassis wise close to the rlaarlo.. 🤔maybe... But its also that the MJX brushless... 🤯😁
I still haven't heard about the MJX other than it's still in development, and yes it's brushless. I hope to see it this year, fingers crossed 🤞
I have too many jeeps already lol!!
I know dude, just say no! Looking for another body that will work 👍
Do u also do airplane?
