    Rlaarlo is doing great stuff I wish they had parts available in the US. I bought the AMD12 and it sits around way too much to make more purchases. The two times I purchased parts they shipped directly from China and took a little over 30 days to arrive. If they could get parts out to me in a week I would have a lot more Rlaarlo products 🤑

    I really like most the stuff Rlaarlo is doing. The lack of waterproofing seems like an oversight & could be a problem for some trails. The price point is impressive for something of that size and quality. Great review & I do really enjoy the deep dives & tear downs.

    • @DoRC
      @DoRC  6 месяцев назад +4

      Yeah at least in my experience so far though for splashing through puddles and whatnot the fender liners and fit to the body keep most of the moisture out of the inside of the car so as long as you're not actually fording water It's probably fine.

      @@robertshelton2605 It's possible though I think what I got is representative of the final product. That being said it certainly would be easy enough to seal the box with a custom seal. I'm not sure it's worth it though because I don't think any of the other electronics are waterproof.

    RLAARLO’s “customer service” is by far the absolute WORST in the RC industry. There is a complete disconnect between their “customers service” personnel and absolutely anyone able to answer technical questions regarding their products. Questions go unanswered most of the time & when a response is given it NEVER properly addresses the issue. ONE RESPONSE I rec’d was “we are sorry, please contact us with any further questions”!!!!!! WTF!? Watching all you guys who I have the upmost respect for build up this company literally turns my stomach. The point being made was that something as simple as body removal is a pain on this rc because of the factory wire configuration. Not a big deal but still kind of an end-user design miss. I appreciate reviews that take the time to point out both the good and the bad on any new rc, to better inform people.

    • @DoRC

      @@JT-6s Yeah I wasn't really trying to make too big of a deal out of it but because of the hinged design to do any major work to this truck the body has to come off and it's kind of a pain to have to route wiring all the way from the receiver anytime you want to do it.
