As a loyal Led Zep guy graduating H.S. in 1975, they are my all-time favorites. Don't call Page sloppy- Jimi Hendrix was the King of sloppy, Jimmy Page was brilliant mentally and musically in comparison. Fresh sounds with every new album, etc. That was huge for his success. The 'Artifacts ' ,Grace Notes , Microtones etc which people refer to as 'Sloppy" fill out the sound and make it big.. If it were 'sugically clean' without those artifacts, it would sound thin.. Jimmy plays/makes "Textures" with his instrument... I have a friend who can paint so accurately/cleanly, it is virtually indistinguishable from a photograph. That does NOT put him in the same league as Leonardo Da Vinci who was 'Sloppy' by comparison.

Love Page, but it’s amazing all the heroin he did in his life, and he’s still walking around and looking pretty good at 76. Meanwhile Eddie Van Halen is gone at 65. Life ain’t fair.
@Gerald O'Brien It's disturbing to imagine losing the greatest guitarist of all time. Bonham's death could have thrown him into a deep depression. Like Steven Tyler who had to separate himself from Aerosmith, as long as they were using. After many times in Rehab, he re-joined when his band mates got clean.
What about this musicians house from Alister Crowley?Didn’t recognize weather he mentioned that one or not Wow it’s surprising that Jimi helped with charity work as well I always thought he had the reputation as a womanizing Devil worshiping self righteous immoral drug taking song stealing tight wad but maybe one doesn’t have to necessarily do with the other
As much as i respected Eddie van Halen but... He alway puttin Jimmy Page down by sayin》Jimmy Page isn't that good when he plays life and so on.... Thats not nice and its not true. So if you putin people down without anykind of reason, then bad karma comes over you. The old Van Halen had their time when they where great. But Led Zeppelin will always be on Top Forever. However.Rest in Peace Eddie🎸🕯

Jimmy, sounds good to me. Appreciate the response/comments to my post. Cheers! . . . On another note I have to say I enjoyed the Wilson girls performance of Stairway to Heaven. Loved the boler hats on all of the choir. Great salute to John.
I wish I had seen Led Zepplin in the 70's as I had tickets to 1 of your cancelled gigs. Such a shame. Would of been wonderful if in those days "meet and greet" back stage passes had been an option. Can't say how much respect and admiration I've always had for the band. That song remains the same. With much love. D.

So very talented ...shows that one should pursue their dreams
Best band of all time and love Jimmy
Led Zeppelin is still to this day the best rock and roll band in the world. Page is second only to Hendrix. The man is a monster guitar player, composer, song writer !
As noted... almost agree.
@@marchyman3993 I just can't relate to songs like She Loves You, Love Me Do, and the whole Beatles early catalog. But I won't deny Eleanor Right is a masterpiece.
@@rockhead69 i can work with that lol. I appreciate your honesty. ER is one of my favorite songs. And their early and later stuff is like night and day different so i respect peeps that like one or the other. I kinda got away from the early stuff until my daughter got me back into it and now i like it both the same. My teenage years were filled with dreams of meeting him. The thing about Led Zeppelin is that nothing they did ever became obscure. I was a child of the 80s but Led Zeppelin was my first love and has remained so. Alas, I have never met him. He’s fascinating to me. To his talent, and a life well lived! Hazzah!

The bow came from The Creation guitarist, Eddie Phillips. He’d been doing it since ‘64. It’s well heard on the ‘66 single release, ‘Making Time’. And, to a greater degree on the US version of ‘How Does It Feel to Feel’, as well as other tracks.

White hair makes him look like a Japanese professor. 😂
Can we talk about Phil Kaeggy or Tommy Emmanuel now?
Thanks for supporting my music 🎶 I’m so grateful 🥰 and I hope you never stop being a fan, I would like to honor you by giving you my personal information if that’s ok by you.💚
The 'Artifacts ' ,Grace Notes , Microtones etc which people refer to as 'Sloppy" fill out the sound and make it big..
Желаю Jimmy Page здоровья и долгих лет жизни. Спасибо Led Zeppelin!

I wonder how much his royalty checks are every year from just Led Zeppelin alone.
