  • HI GUYS :)
I can not even believe I'm posting my TWO YEAR update video!!! The past year has flown by and has been absolutely incredible. This video covers my overall health, my relationship with food, my loose skin, and just a big ol' thank you to every single person that has supported me through out this journey. You guys are so amazing and I don't think I'll ever be able to thank you properly. I love you and I'll see you in my next video! xx

I'm 16 years post-op. Lost 215 lb. Congrats to you. There are stages. I gained 50 lb,( not as much as I use to gain) then lost 65 lb in last few years. Now doing well. Hugs to you.

Awesome. I'm so proud of you. I am getting ready to have the bypass hopefully, as soon as my insurance approves it. I've also been heavy all my life and understand being trapped in your body. This is my first time seeing you page. Thank you for the encouragement and you continue to be encouraged and enjoy yourself. We deserve to be happy, healthy, and loved. Wish me luck and I hope the approval is really really soon.

I feel like when you start feeling good about the food you put in your body, it’s very empowering.
Can’t wait to watch more of your videos, you have such an amazing energy about you.

Your pre-op upload broke my heart. I get it. Have you noticed how people treat you differently when you are a normal weight - people who wouldn't even talk to you at work suddenly want to chat. I don't have time for those people. I really hope you continue to upload each year as it would be great to see the long term success. Congratulations on all of your wonderful things like getting married.

Thank you for this as I am about to turn 55 and tired of fighting for the last 25 years after having last child. You have reassured me and eased my nerves about bypass. You are so beautiful on the inside and outside!!

That's a great video you touched my heart, Im so happy for you to be healthy after the way you were before. I too had the same story, Im not at the weight I want to be but Im still a work in progress and Im very Blessed to be here living my life, 13 years ago I had RNY and lost 107 lbs I've kept about 80 off but need to get back at it. You are an inspiration ...

I dropped 145lbs in my 1 year since bypass, and have about 15 yet to go. Those last 15 are a struggle, but at least I'm not gaining & am able to maintain my current weight. It's been relatively easy to not gain, but my eating habits are still bad. I still eat fried foods, and junk food, but the difference is that I eat only a few bites of it, rather than 2 or 3 or 4 servings of it. I'm working on eating better still. RUclips & videos like yours keep me positive. My biggest concern is figuring out the protein thing. I don't like meat, although I do force myself to eat it occasionally, and I can't eat dairy because it gives me hives, so it's a struggle. I saw your video with the protein shake, so I'm looking forward to trying (with a vegan protein powder). One thing that's been hard to get used to, is not being ignored. It was easy to go out pre-surgery because people flat out just ignored me. I could be anonymous, but now random strangers start conversations, men hold doors open, kids don't stare, people complement me on my outfits. it's a hard thing to get used to, but it's also a bit fun. If you're contemplating surgery, just do it! I regret not doing it years ago, those are just wasted years as far as I am concerned and life is far too short. This surgery is life changing. I had mine in Mexico due to my health insurance not covering anything weight related (LAME!)> It cost me approx $10000 there and would have cost about $20000+ here in the US. Mexico was $7499 (bypass plus lap band removal), plus airfare/misc travel expenses. I borrowed from my 401K to do it. I know you shouldn't, but I figured I wouldn't need my 401K if I was dead from obesity.... Surgery was the best decision I have ever made in my life.

💕 💕 I'm 22 months post op and lost 126lbs in the first 13 months and now I have stopped still... I've got 45lbs to go but I've literally stopped still... I'm trying the 80-80-80 routine... 80g carbs, v 80oz water and 80g protein hopefully that will move me forward.... I think I've realised that my health rather scales is my focus.... 💕 😊 👍
