Hi there from Australia
I’m doing what’s called the mini bypass and it’s relatively new. I’m a bit nervous tbh.
I just wanted to say you are very inspiring and you should be so proud of yourself. I have only just stumbled on your channel today. I’m a diabetic and have several comorbidities and so am quite complex. My surgeon has put me under a specialist dietitian. She is a dr who deals with very complex cases.
I’m going to go and check out your other videos - also I’m an accountant too so I totally get how you love your job 😊❤❤

I have been binge watching your videos and I' so happy for you and your recovery. I just had surgery (12th) and you're such an inspiration for everything. Thank you so much for documenting !!
I had mine in July 2020 at 95kg, I was 105kg during my pregnancy and lost 10kg. Ive started the weight loss injection at 75.8kg. I am now 68kg, and starting wk5 tomorrow, i have 20kg to lose and i have 12wks supply of the 5mg MJ. My gw is 48kg for my small frame and height of 4ft 9". Ive always struggled with weight, and the injection are helping. Ive been a diabetic since 2018 during my pregnancy. So far 37kg lost (81.4lbs).
Just found your channel and I’m looking for motivation to finally do it after 10 years of contemplating and researching it.. I’m looking forward to watching your journey and progress 🙂
Best wishes on your surgical journey, I had RNY going on 8 years ago now. It was the best decision of my life. I put it off for several years as well denying I needed the added help of WLS to regain my life.
Thank you for sharing :) I am at the very beginning of my journey in the approval process.
Ahh congrats!
Kudos to you for doing your surgery when you did! Your story was like listening to my own! I had rny at 53. At least you didn't wait another 25 years like I did!
Hi Carolin! I just found your channel and I'm starting from the beginning. 😊 Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
I’m post op day 6, too. A lot of what you said resonates with me. Enjoyed the video! Good luck!
i just found you and your channel. and i want to say, i’m proud of you for taking care of you.
Thank you for sharing, I am in the approval process right now. I am excited though. February is the goal.
Thank you for sharing.
I'm starting all my required blood tests, xrays, ultrasounds to get the surgery approval. And I've been searching for information about gastric sleeve surgery and gastric bypass i really appreciate every person that shares their own experience because its not easy to go through this.
You are so beautiful ❤️ I’m glad you decided to do what’s best for you 🙏🏼❤️
I just found your instagram so thought I’d come and check out your RUclips. Looking forward to watching your journey so far 🙂 you are beautiful and such an inspiration ♥️
Hi Carolin
I have just found your channel and I am impressed. I had my RNY on 2 December and I am finding your channel to be of benefit to me.
Thank you.
Congrats!! Thanks so much!
Hello! I am post op 5 days as of today. My surgery was, May 25th and I have been in such pain.
It has been so rough for me... 😭 I am on constant pain meds. I hope it gets better soon... I feel so discouraged. Others have been able to get up and going better than I.
Congratulations on your success though!
Hi, I had my surgery three days ago and your channel have been very helpful. Thanks for sharing 😊
Congrats! So glad they're helpful, thank you!
Hi Carolin, I was wondering if you remember how much and how many times per day you're supposed to eat for all of your phases? I'm 1 week out from rny and I really don't have those measurements from my surgeons office. I've seen your earlier posts and you look so amazing! Congrats!
Just wondering if you could help a girl out with that info. Thank you so much!
This is the first video of yours that I've seen. I have an appointment with my regular provider on April 9th and we are going to be discussing a referral for bariatric surgery. I am right on the line for where my insurance will cover, but I have diabetes. I have no idea what the process will be like, but I am excited.
Thanks for watching! It's definitely the best decision I've ever made!
Hi Carolin I just found you channel and I’m at the beginning of my journey I can’t wait to follow your journey I’m sure it will be helpful and amazing thank you for sharing!
So thankful for your videos
I am just starting on this journey. My insurance just approved me for it. I meet with the surgeon for consultation in December
Thank you so much for sharing ❤ 💕
You mentioned pain med and also benadryl. Re:pain med - How many milligrams were you able to take? And did you have to crush it? Re: benadryl - how did you know how to adjust the dose now that your stomach is so small?
I have that reaction to premiere and pure protein shakes too.
How much weight have you lost since this video?
Since that video, probably 150 lbs. In total I've lost 172 lbs so far
