Yes.
There, saved you 30min.
I bought one. And now I own three. I’ll keep adding them as I find niches I haven’t covered yet. Probably a dedicated rimfire and a .45 cal to cover all the pistols.
Please don’t save me 30 min, I love listening to them ramble. I learn something[s] every time.
@@andrewhofmann7308I’d rather him save me the 30 min.
I'm adding "Larping with Barrel and Hatchet" to my bucket list. That was a sick ass intro, would love to larp with yall one day.
APPRECIATE THE SHOUTOUT! Have you guys tried the DUAL-LOK yet?!? Also if you didn't see it, we might have a suppressor called the DUAL-LOK 762MM that was designed for the 240...I just actually submitted a request on your affiliates page.
Roger we will check it out! And also if you need to get a fast response, hit us up on IG, and we can send you our new email address
@@barrelandhatchet Dual Lok cans fuck.
You can use a heavier buffer weight (H3) and an extra strong buffer spring to slightly delay the bolt action by a millisecond to allow more gas to exit the muzzle of the barrel. Other option is to get a gas adjustment control on piston driven AR-15 like the LWRCI Individual Carbine.
They should flood RUclips with training videos. Y'all could be doing a lot more by this time next year
We def will be releasing more training type stuff on IG and may start doing more live videos where we cover skills and training
I been sayin this. If they just flooded RUclips with a video every 3 days . B&H would blow tf up. The content is amazing.
@@colerogers6816 yep. B&H and AHT are hands down favorite YT content creators.
And milspec mojo, insane how fast he runs a reset
Making videos isn't as easy as it looks. Especially if you have a day job and do your own editing
@@styxrf Add in running a training organization. Plus doing all the research they're doing in order to provide real experience and detailed information about products.
Really have to appreciate what is presented, especially looking across the rest of YT and they hands down are putting together more entertaining cinematography
Prior to us getting our SOT I ordered two cans, the sandman s and the turbo t2. Even if we didn't have our SOT I would have bought more after that. Rimfire cans are super under rated and having a nice 30cal can to run sub 300blk is an awesome capability. Had 2 when we got our SOT in June. Now have 8 cans and love them all
My trust form 4 was completed overnight last week. Tax stamps are pretty much instant now
I’m just excited I made the jump 3 weeks ago used my safety bonus on a Witt machine 5.56 suppressor it was like 190 something and some change
My form4 was approved in 6 days with efile. Thank goodness
Super easy for me, just took a lot of waiting. Totally worth having the can. I have a piston gun that can tune the gas to have minimal blowback. I like having mine because it tames the sound enough that I can use it for coyotes without hearing protection here and there. At the very least, its much more comfortable than unsuppressed
💯
Started with yHm resonator k, then R9, then turbo k, and I’m seriously considering turbo t3 for my 10.5” mock 18 cuz dang I like shooting suppressed!! 😊🥰🥰🥰
Wish I could go train with you guys, but I gotta stay within 3-4 hours local to my area. Great discussion guys! 👍
Nice! I just purchased my first suppressor and filed my paperwork with silencer shop and did my fingerprints today. I went with the YHM Turbo 5.56 for my 16" AR build which is also my first AR play more build
Just ordered my first can on the 29th. Ended up buying an AB Suppressor A-10 Warthog 5.56. Hoping to get it soon! Great video
Welcome back gentlemen. Glad you made it through hurricane season seemingly unscathed.
Finally I have been asking for this for months 😂
We didn’t forget
Yes! @barrelandhatchet has superb content!
thank you for sharing. I just found a reason for me to stay away from the suppressor 😂
I have one for every rifle and pcc. Having one for pistols are low on my list and only have 2 to share between them. I use 30 cal for my rifles and 45s for my pccs and pistols. I do have dedicated 556(just for sbrs and pistols) and 9mms too, but I just wanted more versatility. I also have dedicated 22 suppressors which is a must for me. My thought process may change though and it just means I get another suppressor lol win win
great video very informative. i just recently got into suppressors and this really helped me to make smart decisions on buying cans.
pinned and welded a GP-5 to a 10.5 5.56 barrel, got rid of the brace, put on a magpul stock and VFG. nice package.
Would do anything to own a can. Stuck in CA though. SUCKS!
Great content dudes.
1 eforms are easy peasy. With electronic filing, I was in and out in like 20 minutes.
However, eforms are almost just as long as paper filings now.
Yeah there was a good time do do that at one point sadly it seems as though that time has passed
I'd recommend the Griffin gate lok can for the most compatibility for low muzzle device cost.
Then dedicated cans after that.
Just found you guys and I am enjoying your content, keep up the good work.
Good to have you guys back!
Waiting on my Silencerco Hybrid 46M and I can't wait to get it. Looking like it's going to take around 8 months which puts me getting it around December 23. I want to deer hunt with it using it on my Ruger gunsite 450 bushmaster in November sooooo come on ATF!!! Please!!!😂😂
Uh......Yes. The only ppl against them are the ppl who don't have them. I have 3 working on 4 and 5. Ppl complain "it blows gas in my face" do not have their rig adjusted properly.
Tax stamp or not it is still worth it to have 1 can if you use a rifle. I run a YHM Resonator R2 on a 12.5 inch 556. Tone is good and blowback is low but you have to make sure the thread joints stay tight or it'll unscrew in use. Thanks for the video gents. Keep up the good work.
IDK, I definitely enjoy having the option to shoot suppressed but I often like to not run it. Especially when shooting a lot. Gun internals foul quicker, I don't like eating all that gas and, weight too. When you already have a lot of doodads on the end of your gun it starts getting front heavy quickly. Turns 16 in guns into 22 in so you like to compensate with shorter and shorter barrels which also comes with cons. It's definitely not the end all be all.
Most USMC infantry units are going full suppressors. That's what we call, a clue.
Very true. And now so is the army with their new weapon system
All nt4s though
I just sent a Faxon barrel back that was so unaligned, I was getting strikes on my muzzle device. Faxon was great though. They sent me a replacement right away.
Short answer: Yes.
Yeah I paid slightly below MSRP but more than what you would probably pay online to get my paperwork started early, BUT I also have had access to it each time I go to the range. It makes shooting more enjoyable (hard to imagine I know), but the low blowback and the sound reduction really does make for a great experience.
Short answer: No, not for me. I wear hearing protection so a loud gun isn't a problem and I don't go to shooting ranges. I can't see giving the atf $200 just to get permission to use one, plus my finger prints and other info they demand. I've seen a few people who had these and to be honest, yea it made a small difference but not enough to justify the cost.
I would love to go out with a group and train but nobody in GA will let me join a rifle course because I use an M1 Carbine and not An AR/AK platform rifle 😔
thats badass 🦾😂🇺🇸
My YHM TURBO K With Kurz Kit is a bit gassy . Especially since I shoot Long Gun left handed . I've had the opportunity to shoot the HUXWRX FLOW 556K and Sig SLX556C-QD. Both shot extremely smooth . For me I'm gonna be purchasing HUXWRX FLOW 556K. Triarc now makes OSS / HUXWRX Extended QD Flash Hider that can PW on 13.9" .
I'm definitely more concerned with less blow back / gas to my face ..
I'm 10000% agree that I'm not ADJ Gas Block fan on Duty style / go too rig . I do run ADJ on my 6ARC and that's my SPR / DMR Setup .
I have family members who were in SOCOM . I've asked them numerous times what was their favorite and most durable Can while they were still operating. All of them say SF SOCOM RC and KAC NT4 are freaking bomb Proof Cans. They've been out for 5 years now so I would imagine some Cans have surpassed SF or KAC for durability.
Sig SLX556C-QD and HUXWRX FLOW 556K are definitely the 2 best I've had the opportunity to shoot .
I freaking wish someone would make 5" - 5.5" Can that has 1.7 diameter . Dead Air Nomad has 1.7 Diameter and I'm definitely a fan . More volume is a win win .
Im gonna be PW my 13.7" and gonna be running Dead Air Keymo Adapter with SOLGW KEYMO NOX Hybrid F.H..
I really hope in the future all or almost all Cans will have Universal thread pitch.
Nice video bros...
MK12 MOD H or NSW Recce is my favorite SPR / Recce Uppers . Centurion MK12 MOD 1 SPR Upper is pretty legit . Monty and couple others can still get those TDP Douglass Barrels .
Been a while… looking forward to this..
They are absolutely worth it for a rifle. I own 8 cans and love them. On a handgun it is more impractical. Unless you are an operator, pistol cans just make them next to impossible to conceal. Good for a home defense gun on a pistol. If you don’t own a silencer for a rifle and live in a free state and go shooting quite a bit you are uncivilized.
Yeah I'm going on 10 months through the silencer shop E-filing. That's the only think sucks is the long wait time
I definitely want to do an NV class
Just got into the night world.
I live on Kissimmee Fl
Submitted my eform in may 2022 via silencer shop. Still waiting on ATF.
Awesome!
Having just got two…one 5.56 and another 7.62 I can tell you with 100% certainty they are worth every penny….cost and time to obtain…..the juice is worth the squeeze.
if you are interested in protecting your hearing, mitigation of recoil and flash the get one, I own multiple cans and I only like shooting rifles suppressed personally
been so scared of investing into a suppressor for a few reasons - 1: administration could drop the support of it and I'd be out money, time, and a suppressor. 2: buyer's remorse and initial cost + the long wait even with eforms
The next few years are a bad time to buy suppressors period. So many new suppressor technologies are going to be releaseing in the next five years.
@@boygonewhoopdataZZ IDK, you think companies are catching up to newer tech like the kind CGS and HuxWurx put out?
My dealer burnt down 2 weeks before my first suppressor was approved🙆♂️
The reason you listed for losing manufacturer support is exactly why you get something like a surefire where you should ideally never ever need any warranty work in the first place
@@newerest1 no, I said administration: ie the government/ATF.
I’m planning on getting the Deadair Sierra 5. They look perfect for what I need. I don’t need a 30cal can until I have a 308 which is not a priority right now haha
3:54 rip e-filing
Love your show and have one question for you - what stance do you find yourself practicing/using the most when shooting in the woods? I see a lot of b roll of you both shooting supported, on a bench, or off a barricade, but none of those will be in the woods. I understand they help with fundamentals, but it doesn’t make sense in a practical manner.
We will actually be shooting in the woods a lot for this next episode we are coming out with and you will be able to see what we mostly trend and use!
Awesome videos!
Thank you 😊
I need to figure out when I can come home and train with you guys again
i have a oss/hux and yes they are worth it. but i shoot and i love to shoot. it makes everything better. the stamp is gonna go very soon
Great video boys
If the fingerprints weren’t required, I’d buy a suppressor. Because they require prints. I absolutely refuse to
Also the average is north of 8 months now for the wait
Yes. Always yes.
Picked mine up at 7 months and 3 days last month
I have two the silencerco hybrid and the sparrow. I'm still waiting on my OSS HX-QD 5.56MM and a Surefire SOCOM 5.56 to get released from AFT prison.
just got my RC2 today after 269 day wait through new eFile form4 system
Paying the Gov extra to own something that wasn't supposed to ve regulated in the first place is Ludacris, in my opinion. They already tax everything we own
Do the single shot trust with Silencer shop, then ad the people afterwards to the trust and they don’t have to go get finger printed or background checks speeding up the process.
I know y'all probably don't have experience with this, but there are gun stores where owners and/or staff have no clue what they're doing. I've seen the horror stories of people waiting months to get their NFA application certified only to realize that their LGS never submitted the forms. Then there's the flip side where they won't release a can to a customer because "We still haven't received the paper form in the mail yet" for an eform application. I literally thought a vein in my forehead was going to bust, and it wasn't even my can! I was having to argue with them for a friend because he didn't really understand the process himself. There are other stories too with Silencer Shop applications getting hosed by that new "Full Auto" software (nationality being changed from what was selected resulting in a denial). That's why I tell people that it's REALLY important that you only deal with people you trust. Develop a relationship with these folks. You'll figure out which group knows their stuff and which ones don't real fast. As you said, no one ever stops at 1 can.
That is a sad reality and one we hop to change by educating folks about what their dealers should be doing
“Friggin doing stuff” 😂
Finally got my mini2 out of jail after waiting 11months in november (paper filing). First time shooting it in a outdoor range I was actually surprised how much more effect the suppressor is compared to indoors. Made me a pretty happy kid again lol. So much more quiet, and pleasant. Wish I got one earlier to save my hearing more since I got tinnitus like a jet.
1k is a lot for a can, but when I actually consider the inherent ear protection of it its well worth it. Especially for shooting with fam/friends that aren't gun nuts. Occasionally recoil can knock their ear pro, or even just having weird head shapes making a seal easy to break. And dealing with that can really ruin a range day for some.
Still debating what next can to get. Probably a 300sps though i'm kind of pining for a 300sps ti though they're pretty hard to find now haha.
great vid guys thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the content. As for me and my house direct thread CGS cans are the only way to go. Old school cans weighing 20 ounces + a QD Mount to never remove a can from a rifle is just a waste. Wish I’d figured this out sooner.
Got a cgs in jail can’t wait to play with it soon
@@FreebornOutdoors Helios QD TI in jail as well🥲
Which can did you go with? Helios DT?
@@PrayingPanda gotta collect em all. Recently upgraded a Helios QD to a Helios QD Ti. That extra weight at the end of the barrel has an impact on the weapons maneuverability that anyone can feel and can be measured on your shot timer. The Helios DT is definitely my favorite can for 556. Love the Hyperion and Hyperion K as well for 30 cal.
@@nathankimbro2639 what do you run your Helios DT on? I plan on dedicating it to a 12.5 middy 556 AR-15. You have anybissues with white sparking? Excess gas? Comparison between the DT and the QD-Ti?
Haven’t watched yet, but yes, yes they are👍
I'm stupid. I have a razor and 36m. I'm 6 stamps deep so far. Got 2 more pending.
Funny I just got a KGM R556 and now I am thinking about getting a Griffin Armament Dual Lock 5.......
Wow when you said we have a disease and were addicted. I definitely felt you were talkin to me lol. I never have enough gun shit 😅
its a chronic issue
Great content as usual.
Did you guys ever do anything with the adjustable bootleg BCG?
Fortunately we can buy over the counter here with no paperwork so can play around with a lot of different suppressors
Its not the cost that stops me, its the 200 going to the government for permission. Its already bad enough i need to pay a small transfer fee for normal shit.
This is the way 🗿
What’s yalls thoughts on the aero precision Lahar-30?
Do you know of a suppressor that will fit the DDM4 V7 SLW flash hider?
Short answer yes
I can answer this with one word. Yes.
Great Vid! What suppressor covers do y’all recommend?
Any experience with Griffin cans? I jumped in with their dual-lok HRT and DL7. Primarily because my buddies can recently stopped making that cool "click click" sound when he attaches it. So his QD wore out. Kinda sucks because the Dual-Lok is proprietary. I was going to go with the Liberty Precision Machine, but figured I would stay within the same mounting system.
When is the short film coming out?
Disadvantages- super heavy, very long, very hot and exposed, have to adjust your gas to either run only suppressed or you're going to get a s*** ton of blowback. 556 I don't think they're worth it, you don't gain a whole lot it's a little bit quieter that's it. Maybe I'm missing something I don't know I haven't shot mine a lot but definitely noticed all the negatives to it
Good show
Just purchased a YHM 5.56 Turbo and did all my paperwork/fingerprints with silencershop today with the kiosk. Throwing it on my 16" Radical RF 15 MRD which is also my first AR platform build. Now to play the Atf waiting game and I'm super salty about the $305.75 uncle sam+Transfer+kiosk fees & the waiting game BUT I won it on GunBroker for $338 after taxes, fees, and shipping so it was a STEAL!
“In jail”😢
It's sad, the wait time for the "stream lined" e form system is around 8 months now. In a little bit it will be just as long as the old system
Ok…can you just tell me already. I’m between Flow 556K and SF Mini2 for use on 13.9 and 14.5 M4. I don’t have the time, money, or resources to “try” both out. I gotta commit at this point to one of em. I know they’re both good/worth it. Forget cost, the hassle, muzzle devices. You’ve got both…if it were your money…which one? 🤔🙏
SF Mini2.
Give me free reign to choose my own I’d go Recce 5 or DualLok HRT.
Is it worth waiting a year or more to get approved? Tough to say. 7 months in and there's no logical reason I shouldn't have it and be training with it. I don't want to get it and not be interested anymore, or get it and not be happy about it because the resentment for the government.
Eric, why do you put your rifle light at the 8 o’clock position? I’ve never seen anyone do that (including 4’oclock for correct handed shooters), lol.
Genuinely curious!
These wait times after paying $200 in TAX is ridiculous
Agreed
Paying a $200 tax is ridiculous. The wait times are just sadistic.
What are any disadvantages of running an adjustable gas block?
They foul up quickly and don't work. Basically reliability is the number 1 reason why people will not use them.
What's wrong with adjustable gas blocks? 🧐
I don’t see any of this in Florida
So I have a trust with me and my wife on it. I have several suppressors and an SBR. I have three kids that are 20 and 18 (twins). How do I add them to the trust when they are old enough? Do they have to go through a background check? What's the process for that? Thanks!
I want to buy a suppressor (or two lol) from you guys but I don’t see any on your website? Link?
Thoughts on running steel cased ammo through solid AR pattern rifles and specifically with running it suppressed? Do you clean more often, not run steel at all while suppressed, no changes between brass and steel, etc.?
I’m in the Jacksonville area for alittle bit of time. Any medium distance ranges I could get some dope for my 300blk with exps3-2? 300-400ish yards.
is that a magnifier behind the eotech?
You’re probably going to buy more than 2 cans…..working on 4 currently
Ghost placard in wolf gray?
Hmmm maybe if there is enough interest
Lmao 6-7 months...I'm 9 months in...gotta love the Government...but once I get them they're mine for life
Do you have any experience with Strike Industry's T-bone charging handle? I wonder how much it helps with the gas.
We use the geissle gas buster, the PRI handle, Radian and they have been our go to
it's trash, don't buy it. speaking from experience
Which PA scope is that with the red dot at 12 o’clock
Ar . Hk gas to the face of shooter. Try other guns you will like them. Silencer is excellent to have. Look hickok45 silenced mini Uzi. Real 🔥from camber in one of his FA videos with silencer
