Best to use terminal pullers and terminal spreaders when installing terminals and not to pound terminals on posts. It is possible to break the post internally. As we were taught in the service. Thanks, yeah unfortunately I wasn't in my shop and didn't have access to more than basic hand tools at the storage shop I keep my deuce in. Which is why I used very light small taps instead of trying to bang them on with one big blow of the hammer.
