Is it a big deal? Being gay isn’t a big deal. You are still a human being. Who you fall in love with is something natural. Many marriages between men and women break down, while lovers of the same sex stay together. I think they understand each other’s needs better. I love Sue Perkins. She is good looking and funny. I love her programmes.
When I started dating my first boyfriend at 19, I sat my parents down at dinner and told them I had something to tell them. They were pretty surprised when I said I was dating someone, but only because it was a man. "We thought you were just telling us you were a lesbian at this point." ...Turns out, 5 years later, they may very well have been right, but I was annoyed at the time lol.
I don't feel like coming out is saying "I'm having sex." You can be a virgin your entire life and still be gay. It's what you are, not what you do. It is how we feel. It's really sad when people reduce gay people to a sex act.
Love Sue Perkins. I've never quite understood why so many people think about other people's sex lives, let alone make a judgement. Pretty sure that makes them a bit pervy.
I read it was her then partner, Rhona Cameron , that outed her without asking her, it's up to the individual, if people don't want to discuss their sexual preferences then that should be their right...
i’m not so much in the closet as i am just not telling people because my distant family don’t really need to know about my sex lie as far as i’m concerned
Have never got Sue Perkins at all. Obviously people find her funny but alas, not me. Career on the wane... let's tell everyone about coming out. Who cares? Why should anyone care?
Very good! :-) I just grow bored with them being the 'PC we need to fill the female quotas for women comedians for a show"... And that's the best we have..... Hitchens was right...

@@roborb1960 oh my god that’s fucking hilarious. No need to get philosophical on me. How anyone could stand 5 minutes of being with Cameron is beyond me. Let alone have a relationship with her!

I'm still waiting for her to come out as somebody who is not very funny
what are you even doing here?
She does,
Every time she opens her mouth
They missed the 'it' in the title

Actually it was two things her mother guessed "Look you're either coming round to tell us you're gay, not funny or both.."
Sounds like you're speaking from experience
