I've learned quite a few things from you on how to properly maintain my hair and here's my list -Wash regularly -Section hair during wash routine, when adding products, and when styling -Moisturize hair properly(adding enough product for the week and it's quite OK to be a little heavy handed lol) -Work the products into the hair thoroughly -Comb or brush products into the hair for even distribution -Style as desired (making it supa cute) -Protect hair with a bonette or scarf -Lastly, Flick it up! Thank you so much!

I will start with the leave-in, the oil and then twist my sections, saves time and it's easier to decide to do braids or twists when you add a styler. You're AWESOME!!! as always. Thanks for sharing.
I believe i will try this method because by the time i do all the steps on wash day by the time I get to styling im tired 6 sections with mousse sounds interesting
Better than using rollers , a whole lotta more comfortable to sleep in and don't have to spend outta the wazoo to upkeep it. I use ponytail holders made of terry cloth on the ends after I twirl them on themselves. Great motivation for natural tresses👍

Your hair is Perfect!!! You didn't have to put a lot of twist in, in order for your hair to have volume and fullness. When you pulled your hair and it stretched and bounced back into place. Happy Saturday Lovely!!! 🤗
Looking back at some of your videos just from last year and GIRL YOUR HAIR GREWWWWW! Twists/Braids are the best!!! Also have you ever tried Twaids? They're braids at root and twist at bottom.

Salena Harris thank you 💕 it could, I have seen a lot of Naturals use this mouse with type 4 hair too and got great results. The key is having moisture, working in sections and making sure your hair is 100% dry before unraveling
I have been natural for 7 years and you are the first person who seems to have the "same hair" as me and I have struggled with maintaining moisture...it's like you're doing my hair in this video! Although I've seen some wonderful tutorials on all types of beautiful hair, I finally feel hopeful that I can learn to maintain mine as I should...I will be trying some of the products you highlight as well... I can relate. For me at this time of year, I have to go with a braid out -- and do at least 14 braids total so that I get enough definition. And I absolutely have to use a gel on top of my leave-in. New Orleans humidity is definitely not playin'!
