MS Jeanette, I love watching your videos. You make me love my natural hair even when it misbehaves. I've learned quite a few things from you on how to properly maintain my hair and here's my list
-Wash regularly
-Section hair during wash routine, when adding products, and when styling
-Moisturize hair properly(adding enough product for the week and it's quite OK to be a little heavy handed lol)
-Work the products into the hair thoroughly
-Comb or brush products into the hair for even distribution
-Style as desired (making it supa cute)
-Protect hair with a bonette or scarf
-Lastly, Flick it up!

LET ME SAY....THANK YOU HONTY!!! I stopped watching hair videos now for months bc I just needed to stop doing so many different techniques/products and figure out what work for me. Just yesterday I thought I need some help with improving my twist out BUT looking for particular videos can be over whelming. It's 4:00 AM and I can't sleep...pull up my RUclips and BOOM your video is in my feed (won't he do it!!) Devine intervention for sure. Your hair turned out voluminous like it was supposed to great job! But that makeup oh my god. I just love it especially the red lipstick which is one of my favorites. It just set the whole look off and I mean in a good way.

Hey Ms. Jeanette. I learn something new every time I watch your videos. I use the loc method when I do my hair. I will start with the leave-in, the oil and then twist my sections, saves time and it's easier to decide to do braids or twists when you add a styler. You're AWESOME!!! as always. Thanks for sharing.

Better than using rollers , a whole lotta more comfortable to sleep in and don't have to spend outta the wazoo to upkeep it. I use ponytail holders made of terry cloth on the ends after I twirl them on themselves. Great motivation for natural tresses👍

Your hair is Perfect!!! You didn't have to put a lot of twist in, in order for your hair to have volume and fullness. When you pulled your hair and it stretched and bounced back into place. Happy Saturday Lovely!!! 🤗

Salena Harris thank you 💕 it could, I have seen a lot of Naturals use this mouse with type 4 hair too and got great results. The key is having moisture, working in sections and making sure your hair is 100% dry before unraveling

I can relate. For me at this time of year, I have to go with a braid out -- and do at least 14 braids total so that I get enough definition. And I absolutely have to use a gel on top of my leave-in. New Orleans humidity is definitely not playin'!
