Thank you these hoods are kinda short I didn't want to get aggressive with height and make it look out of proportion and know idk if I want to extend it back more or leave it like it is
Excellent build. Grab an old pipe and put under metal and use to roll out . Regarding welder... Flux core isn't the greatest but it bests a blank. When I fabricated gas tanks for choppers, I prefer to tack then braze. Brazing is old skool. Excellent work and keep fabbin
Dude, I like it. It will look good at the back. I'm going to make one with an opening in the front as well, and bring air cleaners next to them. With the airflow exiting up the windshield. Thanks
Oh OK well I'm trying to restore a 1957 forde but I need the hood and passenger door for it so far I've got the back sanded and primed and did the front right side Today actually and the hood is really hard to find
I appreciate it and it's nice to do this because I'm learning how to paint cars anyways so the fact of doing it helps but also I'm getting a trade plus I'm gaining value in it
@@CCAutoWorks i just couldn't remember if the sheet metal with the arc weld would stick when you weld it together. Usually I see people using Mig welding rather that Flux or Arc.
@@CCAutoWorks my friend has an Arc wire machine and it was wondering if I can use it. Do you know if you can weld a roll cage with Arc wire to the car?
Looks good! I like the width of the raised area.

Thanks
That will be awesome
Like that bump side sitting behind you.
Thank you
I like it looks great.. I had some hood ideas but don't have much Time And space
That makes it tough because it definitely takes time
Nice job buddy 👍
Thank you
Man I have always wondered why no aftermarket company made a cowl for these fords using this lines
They definitely should
They do: US Body, Carolina Classic trucks, Cervinis, and Key parts. They're either expensive or just very low rise.
Any Ideas for my 2005 Cateye the 05 hoo would curve a bit.. I also gave a chevy Van id like to takle
Cateye trucks usually look best with the hd hood but I just go off the factory body lines on the hood and just exaggerate them into a cowl
Nice
Thank you
Where did you get your grill on the blue Chevy?
eBay 80% of my parts i get there
Ok thanks I’ll check it out
Do you know where I can find a hood for a 1957 force F100 as well as a door
I sure don't you don't see to many around these parts

@@racermike3387 yessir your correct
Can you arc weld it as well?
You talking like stick weld
Maybe with 1/8 6011 or smaller rod
@@CCAutoWorks in was talking with the wire arc welding machine. But since you can do it with Arc stick I'm guessing it's a yes.

Do you sell the them
No there a lot of work but you can buy one that's similar from a company off of summit racing
Would you make and sell one?
That would be tough because there's so many hours in this thing but summit racing has one very similar it's from key parts
