    Dude, this is a dollar sign $ and this is a pound sign, #... 🤣
    Nice way to do that. I was waiting for you to edit the sudors file... Lol
    Wish I could think of things to do after installing. My mind is blank like "Bland Reg".. 🤔 Hahahaha.
    Sorry I missed the last two shows, Life is pain. Could you have TG swing by and pick me up on Venus, I need to leave "Bruce 1" for its 1 million light year service and I need a lift back to the Moon... Thanks! 😆

    how did you get into users from the desktop? I see everything in Settings, except user stuff

    • @SwitchedtoLinux
      @SwitchedtoLinux  6 месяцев назад

      It should be one of the options in settings in Gnome. Try searching for users in the search bar at the top.

    I keep getting usermod command not found?

    • @patrickfeeney180
      @patrickfeeney180 7 месяцев назад

      I think usermod is a file that needed downloading
      How i got my 'user' sudo priv was going into the sudoers file as root with nano and editing it to give me sudo priv

  • @SB-qm5wg

    if I self-host I don't care about sudo unless it's got a desktop.

    Maybe a noob question but, Is there a keyboard shortcut to terminal emulator? Searched the webs and nothing works. OR can I add a custom keyboard shortcut to do this?

    • @SwitchedtoLinux
      @SwitchedtoLinux  Год назад

      Terminal shortcuts are dependent on the desktop environment. In Cinnamon and I think in Gnome, Ctl+alt+T gets you a terminal window.
