    For me it's all about the crew area. All super yachts have luxury accommodations. Somtimes just don't pay attention to the crew. These people lve on these yachts most of time . It is their home. I worked with the public for 20 years in Las Vegas. You are right. If your staff is not happy they can subconsciously convey that t your guests. Some of them will just say outright. Your crew can literally make you or break you. Nice video. Thank you, Jerry

    Well you got me as a new sub, I’m shopping for a bigger boat , and plan on pulling the trigger next year, so I look at allot of these. I like how your tour shows The vessel in the water from different angles, as well as a quick tour with high quality, and not showing every single storage spot, or how I would use that storage spot, 10 times in the video, it can be exhausting, Great presentation keep up the good work can’t wait to see the next one, thanks

    Now THAT'S a boat I could aspire to. Plenty of space, lots of nice amenities inside without looking like a pimped out speed boat, and probably pretty economical to run for her size and I'm sure plenty sea worthy. As rugged as a converted commercial? Probably not, but realistically, how many Yacht owners want to plow through the North Atlantic in the winter? No, she would look wonderful anchored in the Bahamas, and if you wanted to go across the pond and do the Med, I'm sure she would do just fine. I really like the Vids. The high points are hit, without going into too much detail. (I don't really need to see the storage space in every cabinet in the head or galley) and it seems the bridge and engine room are always shown. Thumbs up!

    Magnificent yacht. I think you've overstated the comfort one would feel in this ship if she's in a gale with heavy seas (all sea states). The interior accommodations give no indication they are designed for heavy weather. She looks more like a floating hotel than an all weather ship.

    I wish they had extended the upper super structure more. Moved the whole bridge and upper deckhouse forward maybe 2.5-3 meters. They could then add a larger captains cabin and more modern bridge. Plus enlarge other adjacent space behind bridge. Keep the forward swept windows in the bridge. Add more space on main deck as well with the extension. This would still leave plenty of room on the main weather deck for larger launches and other equipment.

All timed for the best weather possible. I don't care if it takes five years. I would definitely have at least one three seat sub on that deck. `

  • @jeffputman8242

    I love trawlers, I would have made a few changes. For a more friendly sports fishing ( live bait wells and cleaning area ,and Mini Sub vehicle launch and storage area in the Aft section. Also your description didnt get a great understanding of what the Galley / kitchen and storage was like. If the ship has a side door for loading directly into walk in cold storage ,fridge and freezer then excellent. if not that would be something i would add. Are galley appliances doubled ?, oven ? ranges ? Proofing cabinets , for easily serving 40 guests? I know its not standard to have a cruise ship galley on a Yacht , But When you need it for a party on a ship this size it should be there. I do love the other mods to it. ( i also would have a couple walk in tubs ) They take same room as standard 2 person shower and when your out overnighting somewhere and just want a bath you have it, not all bathrooms but a couple. My 2 cents.

    Morning Johnno. Again, as i've bored you with before, the specification of this boat is spot on, but, yet again, i think the interior, how should i say without being rude, oh yes like it was designed by someone from Fleming yachts. Wood everywhere, like sailing in a wardrobe. Whether this was specified by the person paying for the re-fit i do not know but whoever did lacks imagination. I wonder if their home is clad all in wood? If i'm shelling out £17.5mill for an expedition yacht i'd want a lot more decoration to live in for months than wood panels with sharp corners, that's for sure. Not to put too finer point on it, it looks like the interior of me dad's caravan, sorry. Vripack where are you? If you need an example of what i'm banging me gums about then youtube the boat "Viatoris" and look what can be done internally. (BTW Johnno, i wouldn't keep pressing your naval heritage as a reference to these yachts, the analogy is rather tenuous. Not least of which those two old friends "Form and Function"). Off to breakfast, laters.

    • @YachtBuoy
      @YachtBuoy  2 года назад

      Cheers for the feedback 🙌 re the RN heritage, I normally only refer to it where context is the aim i.e. where I am referring to spending long periods at sea in relation to my comments about the crew quarters etc. cheers for the heads up about “Viatoris” I will check her out. A very good vid sir. I love this boat, it would be in my top 5, I just want to retire to a floating hotel that can voyage the World.
    Two queries, are the stabilisers fold away to match the ice capability of the hull? And yes, why doesn't the size of the dining table(s) match the number of guests plus extras?
    If I want to sail across the middle of the Pacific for 3 to 6 months, I'd expect the crew to be part of the family too, to be able to sit around the dining table too when they are not on duty, especially the captain, chief stew, chief engineer, chef and anyone else as we discuss the plans for the next day or month. At 46m FFA is still a small boat, it needs to run well and everyone to be happy!
    Isn't this a salient difference between the glitzy charter yachts that ply the Med and Bahamas for week long cruises and the superyachts that are classed a long ranging, all weather expedition or explorer yachts that roam for very much longer periods.

    • @YachtBuoy
      @YachtBuoy  2 года назад

      Thanks for the feedback re the video 🙌 as far as I am aware, she has no ice capabilities. As you have said, this boat is designed for ocean-transiting voyages rather than short range island hopping in the western med etc
