Ryan and CDM for the win! Stunning loft living at sea! I've said is before, but Ryan's articulation and narration of these vessels will sell to me...when the time comes!
How they made that interior work is amazing. The exposed conduit electricals and toggle light switches could have made it look silly but there's just enough of it to put a hint of industrial toughness explorer boats are supposed to have inside the clean and beautiful interior. Same thing with the bathroom fixtures. The industrial feel is broadcast where it's supposed to be but the gleaming engine room and galley display a comforting and modern reminder you are on a state of the art yachting machine. The tender lift when deployed gives the impression of an industry fishing boat hauling in thousands of the day's catch yet the way it disappears is nothing short of spectacular. This is one hell of a boat. You are pampered and reminded everywhere you look that you are on a ship that's all about muscle. Beautiful!
I really like how this feels like an informal luxury yacht, though it's a style many won't like, but I think it works well with the interior design choices. Downside is you missed the crew quarters and even the link doesn't mention how many crew.
Hi Ryan . Great tour & commentary . LOVE the "masculine" industrial design & finishes . The first superyacht that does not feel like a "condo" on water . Mark (Toronto) 👍⚓
The Mimi La Sardine was my favorite interior of any yacht walkthrough I've ever seen. I've got it saved for reference so I can play with similar concepts in doing my own interior design. I'm not as fond of this one, but I do like it... some of the rugs are a bit weird to me (and not in a good way), but I like the industrial feel. And both boats have avoided the traditional yachty "super-shiny woodwork that's designed for a museum piece, where there's enough staff to ensure that every spill gets cleaned up before it even hits the table surface." I don't like yachts that look like museums; I like yachts that look like homes, and Mimi is so special precisely because I see a lot of resemblance to a low-key beach house, a relaxed place where the sand gets tracked in and there are bits and pieces of pretty shells and driftglass all over the place. This doesn't have the same flavor at all, but it does still have the flavor of a home instead of a Yacht, and I appreciate it for that.
I really like the interior of this boat! This feels very approachable yet remains clearly evident of a luxury yacht. So many others out there look too gaudy. Another great video!
The decor makes her look very different, industrial, relaxed and work man like and spacious. Yet there is comfort and luxury like in the salon and all the cabins. Very different to most super yachts. Love the disappearing crane nothing for children to mess with. Lovely working super yacht.
As beautiful as most yacht interiors are, I'm so happy to see more and more interiors like this. It's modern, but more importantly functional and inviting. Super lux interiors may have their place, but I know there are many people who want to get away from spaces that remind us of our "parents living room". I'm not referring to a dated space, I'm talking about that space we grew up with, that you could look at and appreciate from afar, but never enter or touch (and usually only got used on special occasions). This yacht feels welcoming and "real". I can't explain it , but it's like it's saying, "Come aboard, make yourself feel at home- it's ok if you dropped a crumb, my interior is meant to be used and enjoyed. Let's go have fun and explore together". Sounds corny I know, but it's the 1st time a yacht interior has ever "spoke" to me. Lol
@Richard I thought I was the only one who felt the interior was actually a monster in disguise...look extremely amazing, unique, functional & inviting to draw in novices before swallowing them whole. I'm just amazed. The use of floor space, cabinetry, art deco, bathroom sinks. Good lord i don't want to cruise in this boat, I want to live in it. Kudos to the interior design team, this boat almost sells itself on that alone.
This was an absolutely outstanding video of an amazing yacht...thanks so much. Stunning in every way. The interior is unique and just oh so gorgeous. Importantly, the work spaces are well designed for maximum access and careful consideration for those who have to maintain the vessel on a day to day basis. Almost too good to be true.
Ryan, another great video and more importantly another reason to love CDM yachts. Mimi la Sardine is still my favorite, but I am really liking this one as well. The steampunk vibe of the interior is amazing. With this design, I would think it might have made it easier installing the lighting, as you didn’t have to snake them behind panels. I am also liking the ceiling panels, no fabric to sag after some time in tropics. Great build
Really like some aspects of this one, and yet other area aren’t quite to my liking. Love the size (bigger is always better right 😉) and the outdoor areas. And really like some of the features inside. But the decor just doesn’t do it for me. Feels very much like an industrial area and not what I would want to spend weeks surrounded by. I’ve rented many yachts in my day for extended trips, and one thing I always count on is that they will be spacious, bright, comfortable, and luxurious. This one was much too utilitarian for me. Like a cheap loft apt in NYC or something. But once again, Ryan does an amazing job of walking us through and pointing out the features. He just keeps getting better with every new video!!! One of the most enjoyable presenters on RUclips. 👣😍👣😍👣😍
Completely agree... she's amazing. The homelike interior matched with the capabilities of an explorer yacht means there isn't much you couldn't do on this vessel.
We'll keep this in mind for future walkthroughs Rob, thank you. The schedule often gets tight when we shoot during yacht shows, hence why sometimes not everything gets equal screen time.

This feels 'unfinished' to me. I think the sentence 'feels more like an explorer yacht than a superyacht' (paraphrasing, don't remember the exact words) says it all for me.
It must have been difficult trying to illustrate the capabilities and features of a vessel of this caliber, but we'll keep that in mind going forward. Appreciate the feedback, Paul.
Nah....didn't like it. The exteriors and mechanics are first class but the accommodation spaces look cheap and jumbled. All that electrical conduits and cheap bathroom taps denigrated it. If that was what the owner wanted though, fair enough.
The interior design and decor is hideous. If you want an industrial design buy an old working boat. Modern yacht with an industrial interior is not a great example for cdm.
NautiStyles already did a walkthrough on this boat. An actual walkthrough. Two people with a camera walking through a boat. Not a professional crew taking still pictures from a tripod. Maybe you should watch some of their videos to see what an actual walkthrough is.
Sorry but that crane is hideous. What a eye sore and monstrosity, and not only that, you have to re arrange your deck and furniture just to use it. Major inconvenience. A complete fail. The rest of the boat is beautiful.
I wonder how well that crane will work in the real world. It seems like it’s limited range could be a problem. I would rather have a crane that can reach both port and starboard. The way it hides is pretty cool though. I wonder how the deck crew like it?
I'm not a fan of the crane either, but really, it's hidden when not in use and the rearranging of deck furniture would be the same with a side crane. Since the purpose of the crane design is to keep the ship from rolling or listing while loading/unloading the tender, it seems to be an actual win in that department.
@@DenisonYachting not necessary at all for the tender, a small davit crane can handle the job. Who wants their tender swinging like a grandfather clock pendulum when raising and lowering the tender.
