Thank you, Sal and everyone in the Khan Academy. You guys are doing a wonderful job for people like us who belong to marginalized communities.Someday in future, I also look forward to contributing for this noble cause❤
I am taking a medical masteral class and is "forced" to take statistics as a requisite. This thing is not my forte` and I find it difficult. I have read 2 books about it and achieved nominal improvement....darn. Your video is quite helpful and I thank you for uploading it.
I swear, I am setting a test for Estimation and Hypothesis testing. This is so so so helpful. Thanks Sal Khan. From Somaliland.
You explained it so much better!!! I wish i had ya as my college professor haha
This is a great video, thank you for the short, simple and clear instruction!
Not enough videos about this out there! HALP! And thanks.
omg thank you i was so confused abt the t-chart because my professor didnt explain it properly they just jumped into example questions in our note slides i was a bit lost where she was getting all her values from >:( but this video helped me understand it better, thanks!
You can add to say that Hypothesis testing is based on Alternative Hypothesis and here Ha -> is mean not equal to 0, ( could be less than 0 or could be higher than 0) means that it's two tailed. Also to mention when variance is unknown we use t dist.
Best explanation I saw till date!
My tuition should be going to this guy
Thank you khan academy, you help a lot.
i love this guy so much
Just curious, do you guys find this easy? I find it incredibly hard. I have to pass Econometrics feels like mission impossible.
No lol taking an online college statistics class over the summer is a huge pain. Take me back to the good ol days when I only had to worry about finding the median.
Thanks for making this easy
Thank you so much for this great explanation 😍
This is so helpful! Thanks much!
Thank you, this is helpful
This would be a lot better if instead of using filler variables, you used the actual equation next to it. I still don't understand the solution.
Bravo! you saved me!!
you guys are the best
U made things easier
Is the observed value the same as P-value?
Hello sir i need this table
You saved me 15 minutes before the exam 🫡😂
thank you
Saved the day.
What if my T value is negative? How do I get the P value in this table?
You can ignore the negative sign and compute the p value.
thnx😍😍🙏
Sir is this t test one tailed or two tailed
very clear
Very helpful
Fiiiinnnaaaalllyyyy I understand
+++++++
finally found!! Thank you
شكرا استاذ
So she can be 96% confident that her hypothesis is correct?
what if the question is t > 2.51 with a df of 30
it doesn't say t is 2.51 so I don't know what to do
if I say t is 2.51 I get the question wrong
pause this video and find it out, that's why I am here
omg, how do you know all of this lol, thanks
Thank youuuuuu 😇
This doesn't help me! How do you find the EXACT p-value?
I don't think you can without Z being given. If it were you can calculate the exact P value using the z table
Matthew Harding yep, I realized I was using an incorrect t table, so that’s the reason my answer was coming out differently.
Thank youuiiiuuuu
Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank youuuu!!!!!!

Very sexy voice Khan I love your teaching I always come to your site to learn lots

One mistake: the degree of freedom must be equal to n-2
degree of freedom is equal to the n-total number of a variable so it is right
