Happy Thanksgiving Snakehips. You still da man. I just got my 36 Duolian refretted and another vintage cone that wasnt collapsed. Jack at Square Deal Guitars is a master.
Agree about lack of voice volume. Guitars sound good but would love to hear what you have to say about them. I'm guessing there's a lot of good info there!
The microphone is behind me and off to the side for two reasons : 1. I was trying to record the sound of the guitars through the PA 2. I was trying not to record the guitars acoustically too. I perhaps should have had a 2nd mic for the vocals between guitars - but that would have gotten too complicated to do all on my own in the short time I had available !
@@snakehips81 Thanks for the quick response and explanation. I totally understand what you were trying to do. I just listened to it in another quieter room and I could hear your voice better. Anyway, thanks for the pickup test -- and some nice playing too!

@@snakehips81 i was gonna delete the comment - i realised the guitars are fine, when i turned up the volume to max i could hear u ok. i get it - the point is that the guitar tone is to be heard. i thought something had gone wrong with the sound at first...

I’m in Scotland. We don’t celebrate the USA’s Thanksgiving - but thanks for the sentiments anyway. Any photos or videos of your Duolian ?

Nice as usual...!
Style 0 sounded best imo, Tricone close 2nd place.
I didn't play a Tricone I I assume you mean the very early, all-German Silver Style O, with the Tricone style neck ?
volume extremely low. edit: well the guitars are audible... never mind!! :)
