I'm sure "the visual" of a limb and attached branches being cut and falling to the ground as you cut, not knowing the exact instant it breaks, away it takes a while to get used to. It is like slowly backing my pick-up, with less than a clear view, out of a parking space only to have the car next to me suddenly and quickly pull forward. The sudden visual of the relative movement always freaks me out. Pushing off the top of the main limb as you descend, I would have this sudden terror as it fell: "am I still connected to the solid part" Great camera position and nice work, and lots of it, long day for sure.

wow, that's just amazing to watch! I'm not a tree guy nor even want to be. I couldn't do the climbing and simply wouldn't. But I do admire a master of his craft and you certainly now have my subscription. superb work
Hey does anybody know the name of the device that the rope is wrapped around from the main tree to slowly lower it to the ground?that solid steel or metal shiny speed reducer I need it’s actual name please to but one,,,😊
Perfect job Reg. Now that is where experience comes from.
Cheers, Reg: Merry Christmas, many thanks for sharing your thoughts and work.
hard work and long days for sure, not to mention a great job well done.
Just love the flow of the speed line. Just usin gravity. As older groundy. Love it. Cheers

Wow. You handle them down all alone. I did not think about that possibility...Keep learning.. keep it up !!!!
Great ground work Amber & Nice take down Reg. Mittagong Australia.
hello Reg. I liked and subscribed to your channel. I love this type of work. I'm also an arborist my self. I enjoy doing my service.
Nice to see dis.
Hi from the nederlands Edwin roewen
Merry Christmas from Scotland
That one time. Speedin some bigger limbs so got wrap on porta an but it flew n my half was to much just let go. Settled good friction took over. Thanx reg always good vids.
One thing that went through my mind when you where dropping a log.
“This mans skin is made of leather” no rope burn and fear of it.
Tree cutting only takes practice to sane people… tree cutting goes wrong with stupid people.
I am neither sane nor am I stupid… I am crazy so I just do based on common sense 😂
Is the 200t in for a service? all the best from North Leicestershire
No, I just needed to spend more money before the end of the tax year.
Awesome job man! I always worry when negative reading sizes that big because I'm always afraid the shock load will snap the rope 🪢... But great job notching each piece..
It's nice to see some of the work being done from the groundie's perspective.
man this is one of the most mind expanding videos i've seen in a while. thanks! definitely subbed and will be working through your past videos!
I never question your ability Reg.
My hat's off to Amber. There's not a lot of women that would want that job and probably not a lot of guys that would give them a chance. You're a King.
Merry Christmas to you and your family and too Amber and her family.
Would like to hear more of your music if you get a chance.
Another great video Reg👍
Merry Christmas to you and yours 🎄
11:05 Funny. I can look back on a life of achievement, challenges met, competitors bested, obstacles overcome. Ive accomplished more than most men and without the use of my legs. What makes a man Mr. Lebowski? [...Dude.] Huh? [...I don't know sir.] Is it prepared to do the right thing whatever the cost? Isn't that what makes a man? [Mmmmm.....sure, that and a pair of testicles.]
Saludos de San Pedro el alto edomex, México gracias por compartir sus conocimientos felicidades maestro
I couldnt do the fast let go then over cooked an big piece comin at ya. Fraction to much friction bro.
That zipline technique is just what I've been looking for!
I've got a few dead trees between my garage and my neighbor's wooden fence.
This is the best solution I've seen yet!
What I love about your videos (apart form the music!) is that you and your team are always so calm and professional. No silly showboating, no histrionics or fake jeopardy, just cool, calm, professionalism.
Steve Pettifer agreed
It is going to be great to see you again. Have a good rest Reg. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the Christmas present. Very best to you and all.
Pushing off the top of the main limb as you descend, I would have this sudden terror as it fell: "am I still connected to the solid part"
Great camera position and nice work, and lots of it, long day for sure.
Reg thanks for the glorious music and content, a feller just had to subscribe, been watching for a few months and sitting here in front of fireplace just now, this video is exactly what I needed!👍👍👍
Your style fits my brain. Right on Reg. Thanks. George.
I'd say pretty ballsey picking that music for this type of video but it worked great. Good job.
Good Lord Reg. I can't believe you smacked that other tree at 14:03. You should really be more careful.
For the record, this was a joke.
Hi Reg,
An epic finale to 2020!
Every time you shoved one of those logs off and it came back to the stem, I could feel it in my bones! Slam, slam, slam, slam!
A masterful execution with the resources at hand. You and Amber work quite well together. 👍🏼
May the remainder of the year and the changing seasons be easy on you my friend.
Soon the sun will be coming back around.. and not a moment to soon.
Cheers mate..
Shane
Merry Christmas to you and your family and amber... hope to see you soon :o) .... stay safe and warm :o)
Few things are as satisfying as watching a skilled trades man do their thing
