Here in the first 2 seconds it was posted. Amazing video by the way. I've always thought Turkey was a normal country but these videos keep surprising me with amazing destinations
😁 nice congrats on getting here so quickly. Turkey has really impressed us too. The locations we visit get more and more unique as we keep on exploring.
Just a little bit late to watching this but always look forward to the new videos! Love the way you film and put together these videos! That Bazaar looks amazing and I bet Peter was looking for food! Those rugs look amazing! Oh wait sure Yen is a wonderful navigator while you're trying to find that lookout! Definitely some amazing architecture there! Yeah knew it Peter looking for food! Yeah that drink looked good, almost looked like a custard, that's immediately what I thought of! Yeah aquaduct's are sure amazing, great old constructions from ancient civilisations are truly amazing! As is your video!
Thank you for the kind words 😊 the days out in istanbul were incredible especially for the food and history and you have summed it all up well. Never seen such high quality rugs before either 😯 so much fun making these videos 😁🤙
No need to contain your excitement! Seeing you experience things you’ve been looking forward to is what makes watching fun! Crazy such large structures had to be built to transport water…and now all we need is pvc/abs pipes😁. Haha Yen’s nerd alert 🤓🚨😂… sometimes that nerd alert can rob you of an awesome experience😁. Actually thought that area you guys went to was more interesting than the bazaar😁😁. Looks so cool!! Bummed it was locked. Getting lost can yield the greatest adventures…lucky for you guys, you don’t need a large space to find those adventures😁. Great vid and looking forward to the next one!! 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
Hahahaha yes Yen doesn't like getting in trouble though I'm always doing stuff I shouldn't be 😂 exploring random stuff is the best especially when the stars line up and you randomly find a crazy hidden gem it's the best. Seeing the aqueduct in real life was one of the best things ever... in every way as impressive as I ever imagined it to be.
I wish I chanced upon your channel before my trip to Türkiye. Love the in-depth background you share for each location and all your recommendations. More people need to know your channel! ❤
Grand bazar and Masterchef contestant?? No one should miss this video!!! The biggest covered market in the world I believe, no? You guys showing your most adventurous way hahaha The call to prayer is one of our favorite things, even as non-muslims, we truly appreciate and feel a peaceful feeling when we hear it. we never had the Adiyaman sarma, so interesting! And the rolled kofte! yagli durum? yag is oil. We def have to write this place down and go when we return. Boza is awesome. Love it! We had it in winter and the smell just made us feel so good. Yas! Peter!! Christmas in a cup is the perfect description!!! PETER!!!! you must come to Spain and see all our aqueducts from the Roman empire. Let's do a road trip together next year!
Hahahaha finding random food stops is my favorite thing. Yen loved the sushi kofte we will need to make another stop once we're back in istanbul. I think like history the size of the undercover market has conflicting sources because there are really huge ones in China, Egypt and Thailand too so didn't want to go all in on the largest in the world in case we were wrong 😅
The Grand Bazaar with 60 streets, the competition must be intense regardless of the foot traffic😅. Love the description, Christmas 🎄 in a cup! Thanks for the Sunday vlog and have a great week
It is very competitive there are quite a lot of people trying interesting techniques to lure you into their stores hahaha. Makes for a very lively atmosphere. Thanks for watching and have a great week ahead 😊
Grand Bazaar looks so grand and lavish! 😍 Another magnificent mosque you discovered, it's so beautiful from the inside! Hahah I love your food exploration and reactions to a new dish you've never tried before. If I see anything Masterchef-related restaurant, I am sold!
This is definitely a country where you shouldn't do a quick highlights tour. After spending a much longer time here it we are finding there really is so much to see and then finding ourselves getting attached to certain areas even more cause they're so cool and the people are really lovely. Totally agree with your statement Daryl 👏
@@PeterandYen truly the crossroads of empires for thousands of years, steeped in history and culture. Being able to take your time to fully experience it (and more) is living the dream 👏😃
It's fairly warm on most days and even though it can be hot the sun isn't like New Zealands burning you. It's an even spread of warmth. Only had a few days of rain so far 😁
Awesome video. The raw meat I've heard from the locals is not from raw meat anymore so it's more like vegan. It's banned for health reason. But vendors strangely still call them from raw meat.
In 2008 use of raw meat was banned in Cig Kofte due to health concerns. It is vegetarian and to me it tastes much better now. But the name is still raw meatballs (cig kofte).
That bazaar is really overwhelming. I think I have no idea where to start too. Usually we become indecisive when we have so many options 🤣. We mainly go market for street food.
Love the Turk ventures Bro & Sis! You 2 are awesome! Stay safe & Bro Pete, our Saders won the Gf over the weekend... beat the Blues... so yooooooo! Ha ha 💚🔴⚫... 🤸
😁🤙 Liv! Hope you've been well. Crusaders r too strong 😂 at this point it'll be a shock if they lose. But it is nice to see the blues back up there in the finals.
Beautiful carpets. Did you manage to get one for home? Seeing the grand bazaar on video is so amazing 🤩 I don’t know what will happen if I am there in person - guess I will go crazy 😜 Food wise - Turkish likes their meat.

Wonderful video. Super professional and remaining humble. Very very very good!
😁👍 thank you
Amazing architecture. Another fascinating video guys.... well done.
It's an incredible country 🇹🇷
Loved all the cats everywhere! Also loved that you were able to film inside the mosque! Incredibly beautiful 🧡
I've always been more a dog 🐕 person but after turkey it's shifting more towards cats 🐈 they are just so adorable here and really lovely temperaments

Stunning experiences, food and drink. 😋

Hi Peter & Yen! Nice video. How's the weather in Turkey around this time?
Is it hot?
It's fairly warm on most days and even though it can be hot the sun isn't like New Zealands burning you. It's an even spread of warmth. Only had a few days of rain so far 😁
Binge watching your turkey vlog, my istanbul trip is coming soon..
Exciting! Hope you'll enjoy your trip 😁 which cities are you planning on visiting?

O that's interesting 🤔 I read something about that too but that was after making this video. Now I'm curious if we had raw meat or vegan meat 😅

Lovely vlog. Curious about the shopping area. What are costs like there in the bazaar?
Specialty items are reasonable however other things are 2 to 3 times the prices of similar things outside the bazaar
@@PeterandYen Thank you Good to know!
No prob 🤙

Hahahaha the excuse we use is we don't have a home to put the rug in since we're traveling 😅
enjoyed couple
letsgooooooooooooooooo
if you can please please please visit one of those undreground cities ! :)
😉 we just went to one the other day but the vlog won't be out for quite a few weeks 😅
@@PeterandYen cooool !!! :)
Back in the days they make çiğköfte with raw meat. But now it is made with bulgur I think. I recommend to eat this to my vegan friends.
😯 thanks for sharing that. Thought it was still meat but that's good to know
cigköfte does not have meet in it anymore btw🙂
Hahaha thank you good to know at the time of making this video I thought it was still meat 😅
yay to all the cats!! LOL.
